Found it in good condition. Thanks for making us stop and learn about local legends. Love it. Took lego mini figure left purple minion. TFTC!
Got a little nostalgic as I approached the sign to begin calculations... there were a half dozen kids careening down the park hill at high speed on bikes with feet out wide (to avoid high RPM peddles) and handlebars wobbling terribly. Reminds me of being a kid doing the same thing [^] So, armed with the correct numbers, I darted off into the bush. Found the cache straight away and in good condition. It was a bit moist, but log was good to go! TFTMC The Talent!!
Liked this series. Interesting to learn about local folks good deeds and contributions to the community.
worked out the code but couldn't work out how to add co-ordinates in to the GPS manually.
It would seem the CO had a question wrong. Not sure why one of the past 3 finders didn't point it out. Back today with the right coordinates. Made use of the tables with some morning smoko before finding the cache. At least birds here don't try to take your food like some parks in town. Quite peaceful here. No problems in finding the cache. Coordinates spot on. SL

We pulled up and read the small memorial. An interesting lady. Answered the questions and put the coordinates into the GPS. Hmmm....not where we were expecting it to be. Miss Dooghan checks the answers again. Get the same answers. Not quite sure where we went wrong. Took a pic of the memorial to have a look at home.

Cache Raid to Rockhampton with Gunnie69..
Numbers are the name of the game & so we came to partake of the caches in the area
Arrived at posted co-ords collected details did the calcs headed for GZ
Arrived - Hmm no so that's someone's front yard
rechecked calc's seem correct
Contacted previous finder - Oh over there - that'll do
Soon arrived at corrected GZ & picked up container
Log signed we scarpered away
TNLNSL
Thanks The Talent

Kaisho53 and I arrived at the listed coords to find a swag of kids playing nearby... Hmm, I hope they don't thwart our hunt... We gathered the numbers and calculated a GZ. OK, just down there it seems, off we go... We got to GZ to find it was in someones front yard... Yikes, that can't be right... [?]
Lucky we had taken a picture of the plaque so we sat in the car and went back through the answers. Nope, they're correct given the detail on the cache page...
I had a feeling that one of the lines of text had been misconstrued so we contacted the only finders of the cache to confirm our suspicion and to check the coords for the final... Aha, that makes sense and fits with our thought. Thanks Avagomob... [^]
Off we went to a more likely GZ and found the container quickly. I will flick an email to the cache owner to highlight a slight error in the questions. Sorry Dooghan, you beat me to my logging otherwise it would have been mentioned...
Cheers to The Talent for the cache.
