I see there are a bunch of multicaches in in this series, sadly I didn't have time to get to that part of town. I did note this one, although archived looked like it may still be in place and, more importantly, in the area I had ended up. The joy of short offsets is that even magnetic variation at most accounts for only a few metres so I solved for the final co-ords at home and saved them away for my trip.
I was getting towards the end of a long day that started by flying to Rockhampton and all afternoon grabbing geocaches around town. I parked not far from this one and headed over. There were a few muggles playing with dogs nearby and I cannot blame them as the sun was setting and this park had a perfect vantage of it. As I walked a dog that was big enough to whack a saddle on came over for a sniff but soon trotted off.
My solved co-ordinates weren't exactly flash but using my grey matter I decided it must be 'there'. I investigated and after checking a few spots, came up with the goods. Inside was still in perfect condition so I added my name to the logbook and rehid all as found. How very nice to meet Mr. Lisle. On the way back to the car the sun had dipped below the horizon and everything was a deep shade of orange. This cache, too, lives on. TFTC The Talent

I will be archiving some of my earlier caches. I have decided to only place caches that are a little more interesting than this.
Found straight away during a jog this afternoon. It was quite hot so the opportunity to sit and log this cache was pleasant to say the least! Unfortunately, the log is 100% soaked through. I wasn't even able to unravel it. The clue is ok though. I snapped a pic with my GPSr cam and will upload it the next time I'm able to connect it to a computer (ie forgot my cable). Thanks so much placing caches over here on the west side of town where I can reach them on foot. And thanks The Talent for this multi!
Found on a day out with Iron_Lung. TFTC.
Log drenched could not sign. Needs maintenance

I found the sign and duly did the coordinate offset stuff on the GPS, then wandered off up the hill.
There were few hidey holes for a cache here !!
I found one very likely spot and with a rock managed to get it open
Nada !!
I poked around for another half hour, but no caches showed themselves for me today

Liked this series. Interesting to learn about local folks good deeds and contributions to the community.
The first cache up for the day but there was half a dozen muggles sitting on there front verandah. No hope in even looking as they were watching use from the time we pulled up. Didn't even get out of the car. Another day.

Certainly was a great place to view the magnificent sunset so I didn't mind in the least that the GPS led us astray. Found the cache safe and well after approaching from a much more amenable direction.
Initially driving to where our GPS thought was the best access point, we were treated to an absolutely stunning sunset, which ended all too quickly. Inspecting the 'road', we decided to attempt a different approach, and after a short detour, found ourselves close to GZ, where the cache was retrieved without incident. TFTC, The Talent. =^.^=
Cache Raid to Rockhampton with Gunnie69..
Numbers are the name of the game & so we came to partake of the caches in the area
Darkness setting in here as we arrived at start point
GOS projection made we moved up the hill to GZ
Quick find and log signing made

Thanks The Talent

The sun was long gone and we tackled this one in the dark. The mozzies were putting in an appearance and we had not left the listed coords yet... Great...
With the starting point marked and the waypoint projected, we took off on foot. I suggested we might be able to drive to the final but we decided against it. On arrival, the container was found quickly and we were thankful for the lack of light as we signed the log in the stealth of darkness... [^]
As we headed back to the car, a female jogger made her way through the parklands. I guess she was moving faster than the mozzies...
Cheers The Talent.

After a couple of DNFs this morning it was good to get our confidence back with this one.
