Riding my bike in the area and thought a cache stop would be nice and it was. Surprisingly both hidden away and in the open to the Highway. Tftc tnln
Nice rock but rather exposed to the west-bound traffic (or so it seems). I’ve never seen this location in years of driving up here!

As the ladies went shopping, the boys went caching, well really trigging this morning. Five trig points out past Wentworth Falls was the drawcard, and the lack of walking kept the team enthused.
We parked in the bays just past then poked about until we found a way through the grass to the rock, then a little scramble later and we were at the right level. All good at the cache.... TFTC!

No. 7 find for the day. Found alongside geo buddy Mystic Seer and geo rabbit. With the Log signed, it was replaced as found ready for the next Geo Adventures. TFTH TFTC. Thanks to the CO for bringing us to this location.
Heading up from Sydney to Katoomba for a day of geocaching. This was a perfect place for a mini leg stretch. Great landmark and so good someone thought to save it. Container is safe and dry with no reptile guardian today. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
So defo not a terrain 1.5 unless I’ve done something terribly wrong on the way in and out but it was a great view from the top TFTC
Really hard to find, took me a while. One of the harder ones too find for us but there was some sweet stuff in there, our third geocache. So it was hard but I liked it.
Tftc and well hidden. We also found a little(big) blue young lizard to help as well. Thanks again
A bit of gps walk about bit soon had cache in hand.
Also found a little reptile friend guarding the cache.
Also found a little reptile friend guarding the cache.
It was too dangerous to get it, because it is right next to the highway, and there is a lot of long grass. So we couldn’t reach it
Friend found it, I’d give it a 7/10 placement, makes you gotta search a bit but pretty good
Very nice find, did look abit sus getting to where it was tho, lots of driving muggles
Got some weird looks from the muggles on the highway but it is indeed a fun little cache. Sadly though, I was the first to find out of my friend group as per usual so I got abused lol
Easy little park and grab. Did it on a Saturday when there would not be a lot of school traffic around. Have driven passed Sydney Rock a thousand times without knowing that was what it was called. TFTC
Spent the morning geocaching in the Hazelbrook area with Geobrother (Forereach) and nonGeo Mrs Forereach and carried on after lunch solo. Ventured into some lovely areas during the day and enjoyed this part of the world. Thanks to all COs for their great work in placing and maintaining the caches. please excuse the generic log (which has been tailored slightly for some of the caches).
Streak Day #1879 - Last one for the day and a quick find to boot. Found with Frazelle and Ash_Kate and dave8153 whom has found before. TFTC
After an awesome day in the moutains its was time to head back to Sydney. Made this quick stop to get our last find of the day. Currently 5.20pm and freeeezzzing TFTC
On the way home. We visited Sydney Rock. After a little looking we found the cache.

Found by Mary & David at 1125. Now we know we're a long way from Melbourne, with sandstone everywhere. Great to have parking close by too. Autumn tints everywhere. Our thanks to Mr and Mrs Packo.
No rock scramble for me. I took the low road and soon had CIH. TFTC Mr and Mrs Packo
Enjoyed the lovely views from the rock while frazeydaze skirted around below in search of the cache. She soon had the CIH. TFTC Mr & Mrs Packo.
Hi there Mr and Mrs Packo.
We found your cache **"Sydney Rock"** at 2:21:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 17673).
Today blissbaby was our chauffer - she's a great guide. Her local knowledge is absolutely fantastic, and it is certainly great to be a passenger because, we see a lot more when we aren't driving. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the area. The places she took us were fantastic and the views along the ridge line were absolutely spectacular. We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes hidden along the way. Today we found 16 caches (& DNF'd 2). Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
**Note:** The listed trackable "Zombie Santa" is not in the cache,** could Mr and Mrs Packo (or the Trackable owner) please "Mark the Item as Missing" so it can be removed from the cache inventory. This option is under Actions on the trackable's web page).
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Heading over the hill, i had time to visit some old stomping grounds. Once a truck crashed over (into) the bridge and spilled dog food onto the train, the burnt sell of this still remains with me thirty years later. Had a local question why I was stopped here at such a strange hour. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

It was hard hiding from the coppers driving pass but found it successfully!! P.S. This find brought us to such a nice little church
Be prepared for a bit of rock climbing! Good location, will be looking out for people on that rock now with a knowing look
A satisfactory find today as the last visit i couldn't locate it. Dropped off a tb, thanks for the cache.
Found with Shuckypoo, Adam and Harry. Nice clamber on the rock and great views! TFTC
Tftc! With macca88... Hard to be stealthy walking back to the car along the highway.
I was expecting rock scrambling, and I got rock scrambling! One of the best parts of adventuring, right next to tree climbing and waterfall crossing. I came here with Drakeven, who had tried this cache previously but was unsuccessful, and for a while it was looking like we would fail to find it again. Using google map photos, GPS and hints from previous logs, Drakeven finally came up with the goods! It was being guarded by a cute little gecko. Thanks for bringing us here!
This is a fun cache to find. I was watching a gecko and he scurried behind some bark and I thought "That's it!"
This one had us looking for a little while but was spotted in its nice dry hide. The log was signed and the cache replaced. TFTC.
On our way to the Blue Mountains we stopped an this historical bridges and found this nice Cache.
Thanks

Not much of a view due to back burning... Would be pretty awesome on a clear day though... TFTC
An enjoyable negotiation of rocks, road, and long grass in the dark to get to this one tonight. TFTC!

found on a cool n drizzly day. Got a bit wet but all was good tftc with geohubby n kidlet
With a bit of time to cache up here, regardless of the rain, i was determined to increase by average daily finds. I found a spot to pull over and park, and got ready for a wet walk to gz. That rock is surprisingly slippery when wet. Once i got over the mountain the cache was a quick find.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
It was a bit smoggy today, so couldn't see Sydney, but found the cache. TFTC
Lots of traffic for a Monday morning. However still came away with another find. SL TFTH
I went in the hard way as per normal. found the cache easily enough then went back to the car the easier way. tftc Mr and Mrs Packo
As per usual, took the long way! A cache guardian pointed me in the right direction though.
Having driven past all week, today I found the opportunity to stop. A very interesting piece of hidden history. Thanks for the cache Mr and Mrs Packo

Rainy day in the Blue Mountains but a fairly easy find. For so many years this was just another bend in the road and now I find it has history. I love this Geocaching!
