It's on the other side of the creek, we could see it from the opposite side. Water was a bit high so we walked around. It is saturated, sealing clamp is broken. We covered it over a bit better. Tftc.
Went wrong side of creek, saw the long wet grass on the other, so decided to keep my boots dry.... Will be back.

Weekend trip to Albury / Wodonga to ride the HCRT series from Canberra, last day in the area caching with Tankengine..
Well I think this cache needs a bit of TLC we found ourselves on the wrong side of the creek fortunately the creek was quiet low so I made the JUMP across to start searching, initial search ended up with nothing and then expading my search about 16m from coords found it, I hardly miss it ...
I couldn't see the log and on my second glance I saw it on the lid, so I placed a sticker as log book was still damp. I also moved it about 5m closer to the GZ, but probably needs another waterproof container as this certainly seems not.

LOvely place, but the cache is on the wrong side of the river, and 20+ meters out! Mtrac made the find eventually! THanks
Found with Phetlern after a few creek jumps and widening the gz circle.
Dont think it will ever get muggled where it is.
Many thanks for the hide.

In town to celebrate the Myriad & Milestone Event. We found time to visit some local caches. Met Farmer' s Five searching here. What a search it became - quite a while and widening until P-P finally came up with the goods. Satellites today had our GZ 16m south east of where we found the cache.
FEED BACK TO CO: Cache is very wet and no longer tetherted to anything. Needs some TLC please.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt Trent8.

great cache was a bit damp in side tryed to dry it out best i could grabbed tb to move along tftc
I've been holding on to TB for far too long, and we havent been out caching much recently. Did a search for any nearby large caches, and this one popped up. Headed out to the GZ and started hunting. Reading previous logs about the cache being liable to wash away, and seeing the creek debris stuck in the trees from recent flooding, I was beginning to think I wouldnt find it. After widening the search radius it wasnt long before I had the cache in hand. The container was half full of water, but I emptied it out as best I could. I went to drop the TB in, and realised I'd lost it somewhere! ARGH! I retraced my drunken bee dance footsteps, and fortunately recovered the TB, so headed back and dropped in the cache. Then I discovered I'd somehow managed to drop my pen as well. Today is not my day!! Took a photo of the inside of the cache, in case the CO needs me to prove my find. Thanks for the cache, and apologies to the TB owner for the length of time I've held on to it, but hopefully the number of kilometres gained make up for it.
#3654 When Geocaching commenced, our region was heading into what would become a 10 year drought. In 2010 the rains came and all those dry creeks and river beds suddenly started to swell - many beyond their capacity. It is quite tricky placing a cache near a watercourse - a local cacher had a cache washed away on the Kiewa river - he replaced it but with an ammo tin that was chained around a tree . The cache was a little damp when we visited but is seems that more water has been received by the cache since then. We enjoyed our walk around the area it is certainly a lovely place and well worth highlighting with a cache. Thanks for bringing us here Trent8. Cheers.
A really cool place to stop to find a cache, after riding the mountain bikes around Wodonga.
Gets a favorite from us.
Cheers

Way way way to hot for geocaching! But I had a friend over who I wanted to show some geocaching, and this one looked interesting
Found the cache in short order, signed the log, which as a previous finder noted will need replacing awfully quickly, and headed on.
Nice to see a BIG cache container for a change!

I was staying in the area of Lima South, near Benalla for a nice new years break, and the girlfriend suggested we head to Wodonga for the day. I agreed as long as we could pack the bikes and grab a few caches. While I wanted to ride the HCRT series, I didn't want to overlod my non-caching girlfriend, so I chose a few here and there to collect on our outing. This was one of those caches. Thanks.
No luck in finding this one today.
Maybe next time I'm in the area.

Albury Dec 2012. Sol de Lune Fitzy_1965 and I were in the region to do the ride from Talangatta to Wadonga yesterday. I was happy when the fire track on my map turned into a brand new road and we could get pretty close to this. We had it on the other side, but SDL made the leap of faith and uncovered this beauty in its hide. Getting the lid back on was the only tricky bit. Thanks.

Found with fitzy_1965 and Albida33 a day after riding the HCRT and before leaving for home later in the day...
Headed in from the wrong and then jumped the creek. Cache was spotted but it still took a few minutes to grab it. Great to find a bigger than usual container. Thanks for the cache.

Needed to find a cache for today so picked a close to home one.
Not sure I would have found this one if I didn't read past logs.
Decent sized container, hope it doesn't float away.
Picked up TB, Cheers.

Sorry Trent8 for the generic log but I'm trying to catch up on my logging, I currently have over 1000 to log before hitting some powertrails in the US after the block party next week. As always I enjoy the hunt whether I'm solo or with some of my caching or muggle friends. Thanks to those who have accompanied me to make the day more pleasurable and many thanks Trent8 for placing this cache.
Found this one after a bit of a search however the GPS was a off by bout 10-13m and we also started on wrong side and didn't think cross and searching around in think grass that enjoyable. Also believe that this one might wash away fairly easy when we get some rain. But the general area is nice spesh under the willow TFTC TNLNSL
Spent the day in Albury, finishing up some more of the Rail Trail and spending some time caching with my mate Roostaman. Had three of my kids with me, Jasmine, James and Jemma, and they were pretty good on the day, which was great. About 25 for the day in all, so not a huge amount, but, what we did was of a pretty high quality all round. Thanks to all the CO's on the day for the hides.
Search expanded once at GZ and cache found. Nice spot, hope it doesn't get washed away. TFTC.

# 2213. Out caching today with Robmc in Albury/Wodonga, with a plan to collect some of the numerous puzzles we have solved lately. Collecting a few others along the way. This was not one of the favourites of the day. It was a long walk from where we parked and we found ourselves on the wrong side of the creek as we were heading to the Willows. Around to the other side and I was certainly not happy about wading through thick, spongy grass to the presumed GZ. Left Rob to it and I went back to the other side of the creek and watched from a few metres away. I most certainly wouldn't be sitting at GZ for a picnic amongst that undergrowth. Took one of the trackables - I think it is a mouse! TFTC
Find # 4942 on a run around Wodonga with Black Legend and 3 kids.
We searched around here for a while and eventually worked out where to go and how to get there.
Co-ords were a bit out again but we found it after expanding the search.
TNLNSL TFTC Trent8,
Roostaman.

We came north to pick up a few of the recent puzzles we had solved. A lazy day's caching with Bettyboo3747.
We didn't have a lot of luck with this one. We walked around the houses only to find a new road that wasn't on our map.
We assumed, from the title, that it would be on one side of the creek, but when we walked there we were still 30 meters out.
We walked across the bridge, and found chest high grass between us and GZ - just one of those days!
Wading through the grass took us around GZ, but the cache was found about 7 meters away from where our GPSrs were pointing..
Luckily, it was a Large!
Not exactly sure where you would have a picnic around here
Thanks, Robmc.

Yay FTF!!! This is my first FTF. I was driving past this area the other day and thought what a good place it would be for a cache. It is a pretty spot.
There was no log book in the cache, so I signed the back of the reindeer. TFTC. TN left paperclip. Lostmonster & Co right behind me. Great to meet you, Lostmonster.

Fouryaks, there actual is a log it is on the lid of the container. I sticky taped it there so you could lean on something whilst writing your name.
