Checked the hidey holes where a spider might have taken up residence, as indicated by previous find logs. No luck. Looks like time for a cache maintenance run by the owners.
First cache for the day and a DNF!!! Wonder if the big spider ate it, or perhaps the resident frog! Or perhaps we were just cache blind. Thanks.
Nice easy find, couldn't sign log as a cane toad has taken up residence in its hiding place
Day one of the FNQ Wilderness MTB ride and picked this up on the way to Mean Creek. ( Sorry for the late post but only just realised I missed logging a couple of caches from the 2015 ride)
Found with Tassiegirl13 while heading past here on holidays.
All was quiet in the park this morning so we had an easy time finding this one.

Onwards we travel towards Mission Bay having a look at all the sugar cane growing along side the road and hearing about the local industry. We pulled up hear as it started to throw it down - at least you have warm rain over hear. We parked as near as we could and soon had the cache in hand. With a bit of fun wondering what we might find inside - like a snake, and me going boo as the lid came off making someone jump, which I didn't expect, we reluctantly examined the contents. The log book was soaking wet and we were unable to sign it, so we took a photo as evidence of our visit. Then we replaced it where we had found it. TFTC and bringing us to this lovely spot.
Took the old road this time.
Green ants where defending the hide in numbers. Still we won the battle and the cache
Thanks for the hide

Catching up on our logs. Spent a weekend in Cairns for geoP birthday and to do some caching while catching up with friends.
This time took the Old highway detour as we have driven the bruce highway many times. Loved the park and snapped a few photos of poronella park and the water with the swing bridge. Vey pretty at night. Thanks for bringing us here. tftc sl tnln

9:28:00 AM. Quick driveby after leaving Paronella Park. Log was damp but ok to sign. Sealed bag and returned. Thanks hot_wheelz for placing this cache.
Took me a while to find this cache but eventually found it. No trackable unfortunately and I also bumped my head on a sharp branch with pointy thorns but in the end it was all worth it, kind of. [B)]
On our [trip around the world](http://www.hoppundweg.piekar.de/) we came to Australia as well. We started in Tasmania, rented a campervan in Melbourne and went up the Eastcoast to Cairns. Then we drove all the way to the Red Centre. We finished in Darwin. We searched many caches and found almost every cache we searched for . Thanks to all the owners of these caches. Now, 2 years later, we recognized, we will never be able to log every cache seperately... So: Sorry for this standard logtext and thanks for one of the caches, which accompanied us on our journey.
When we arrived at GZ, we were surprised about all this muggels, which were taking a bath (thought there are crocodiles). Furtunately the cache itself wasn't visible for this people, due to the parking cars. So it was quite easy to log this cache without any reaction of the people.
Nice quiet little park. Great spot for a rest out of the midday heat. Took TB, left TB. Thanks for the cache!
A nice quick find while on the way to Cairns. There seems to be a spider that has made his home at the cache. Be careful!
TFTC and greetings from Canberra!

Geoboy 9 as onto this one after the suspicious old muggle with the 3 dogs had driven off. SL, swapped a medal and bracelet for a stamp and gold tee, left a trackable, replaced with slightly more coverage. TFTC hot wheelz.
Found this one after footy was over for us. A beautiful spot with some amazing birdlife around. Had no swaps so we just signed the log. TFTC

After footy at Innisfail brothers we had to do some caching. Pulled up to this one and some beautiful birds out in the park. TFTC
Great little park and very easy to miss if it wasn't for geocaching so thanks. TFTC
Easy find in an obscure park - almost went straight past! Dropped off massive gold TB! TFTC

Early morning cache after leaving friends where we stayed overnight. Nice location, very quiet. Swapped TB's. TFTC hot_wheelz.
North Qld 2013. Day 13 Today was Tully to Cairns. This area was much more deserted, but looked just as nice a spot to stop as the last one. I will never understand nomads. Thanks.

Found on my birthday, its a beautiful sunny day, found easily & spoke to some muggles who knew my home town in Tassie. A lovely spot.
Quick find after a long day at Paronella Park, but the immediate cache area has been taken over by ants - eek! We cleared them out a little bit TFTC, took TB, left TB
A quick find on the way back from Paronella Park. The ants were not too happy to get disturbed, but all ended well. TFTC!
Checked on this cache and dropped a very special TB.
Cache is in good order despite the natural home being built around it. (the occupants have since been evicted).

We needed to wait out some dog walkers here but they did not stay long in the rain, then it was onto the hunt. Cache was right where the GPS said it should be. SL TFTC
13.10 - Enjoyed 2 days R&R with friends in Wongaling Beach. Couldn't help to do some caching on the way home. Found this little treasure with muggles and a noisy dog not far away. They were busy with themselves and all should be good. 3/8 today. +/-0. T4TC.
Quick trip south of Innisfail on our short stay here. Cache well hidden and covered in mud but the log was in excellent condition.

TFTC hot wheelz. Found with Bob during my birthday weekend away. We stoped into this park to make a cuppa before our trip on the road back home. SL TN Left an AFL sharkes key chain as I thought the park was called Sharkes Park....who's a dill? We RTC and dumped our teabags in the rubbish then hit the road. [:o)]

My last day in Australia and I'm trying to collect a few more smileys while I'm on my way to Paronella Park. This one was a quick & easy find hidden as it was in the most logical place to look. Those caches always make me happy .
TFTC!
