Found on a day's caching in and around Robertson. An interesting old cemetery in nice scenic location.Found the cache without too much trouble.SL TFTC
Someone had put a stick in the spot where it was and it kind of gave it away but I'm not complaining about another smiley face
Found on a daytrip from Canberra to Robertson with sebass19. Attention to all future visitors to the Southern Highlands: bring Aerogard or Deet to avoid ticks! I had 2 latch onto me today, thankfully I had special tick tweezers. I was surprised to find them in this part of the world!.We missed the small turnoff to this cemetery so we had to chuck a uey up the road and come back! The dog next door had a very loud bark but thankfully the cache was retrieved quickly thanks to sebass19's brave hand! TNLNSL. TFTC The Bushies!
Whoa, what a lovely place and well kept pioneer cemetery, found the cache, thank you and now gona have a wonder around. Without geocaching we would have missed this place so a big thank you
Having a short break in tge Southern Highlands. Off to Robertson today, collecting some caches on the way.
Another say caching another cemetery!
Almost missed this one, hidden behind the houses. Glad I had my gloves to retrieve this one!
Beautiful spot, thanks for bringing us here
Thanks for maintaining the cache

I always enjoy finding the L.K.A. series. There is something about these old cemeteries that I really like. On arrival, I headed straight towards GZ with only one goal in mind... find the cache.
At GZ I started to look around, I saw a likely hiding spot and hoped I was right, as it looked dark and gloomy and not a place I wanted to put my arm. Fortunately, I was correct and soon I had the cache in hand. I retrieved the log and got to signing. Once signed I put everything back where it was found.
Next, I started my second favourite thing to do at a cemetery... I started looking at the headstones. Reading the things people had written and the lives people had lived. My wandering was cut short when the neighbouring property's dog started to bark at me... I figured it was time to tuck tail and run.
TFTC and another cemetery that I didn't know existed.

Drive to Robertson with geofriend around to country ad find few caches before start rain .. we are good laugh/joke.... We stay overnight at motel.... thanks
This was on my way to the Wangaratta MEGA event, it is a slow drive down as I was stopping off at many of the unusual and interesting places. My trip down south is mostly centered on the older caches and ones for challenges or d/t grids, but I was also stopping at a few as I passed by.
Now for the mind numbing exercise of logging all my finds.
I am sorry to say that I do not remember all the caches of the trip (there is a lot). Luckily, I have Cachly to help me out.
After my high of the old cache in the area I headed over to this one. Maybe I’m a little morbid but I don’t mind doing cemetery caches. This was an easy find and with the log signed and cache replaced as found I was on my way again. Thanks for placing this one here.

#8489 (17 of 17 today - including 5 Adventure Labs)
The final day this year that the Caching Calendar gods require my propitiation. Actually. from one of my worse caching months, December is now one of my best, but CoVid lockdowns did dampen usually good months for me. Oh well.
So where to go for a slew of finds today? I'd noticed **NationalSteel**'s CCEvent at Robertson. While I often head to the Southern Highlands to cache, I don't go this far east.
Robertson it is!
Got to the event on time - that's always a miracle - then a walk in the drizzle for a few finds and the Adventure Lab before heading back to the car to get some further out of town.
Good day after a great little event.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Missed the turn off into the cemetery and had to turn around. The IPhone was pointing at one spot, but given the cache size that made no sense. Spotted a location that did make sense very close. o shifted my attention and despite a plethora of ants all over and around GZ I made the grab.
Added my ink to the log, replaced and headed home.
Nice end to the day's caching.

fitzy_1965, albida33 and I decided to head up the highway for a nearby CITO and some newly published Wherigoes.
Along the way we passed this cache which I hadn't had the chance to pick up before. Log is rather mouldy and slightly damp at the moment.

After my DNF on a 1.5/1.5, I never trust "a nice and easy hide". But this was CIH in first place looked. Took TB. A chance for geodog to stretch her legs. TFTC
Found 20/01/20. First cache of the new year and decade. Nice hidden spot for one as well, missed the turnoff first time through.
Trip to Sydney for the day thought i go by this way to get some caches done stop here and found and log and placed back where it belong TFTC The Bushies
Quick find such a random part of the world! Love the places this takes us to! Signed and safely returned! But had three overly curious sheep watching us!
Had planned to stop here today but there were a bunch of people at the cemetery as I approached so just kept on driving.
Down from Brisbane for the OZGM, grabbing a carefully compiled list of solved puzzles and caches, while enjoying all that the Illawarra has to offer.

OCW marj01. Todays plan was to visit the Moss Vale area and complete the Yarrawa Road Trail and the Forgotten Australian series, then grab any other caches we could on the return journey back to Sydney. This slippery little sucker was found without much effort. Thanks for placing this cache.
Only curious cows around today wouldn't even know a cemetery was here tftc
Decided to do this catch on this cold and winter night with pinkih. Stepping out of the car it seemed so much colder in this location. There was a spooky cobweb to scare pinkih to grab the cache. Awesome night. TFTC

#1563 on a cache run down to the Southern Highlands with alnic39, teamMerlin and Splitty Miller JJCC. After getting some puzzles nearby now heading off to Mittagong. A bit of adlib with the ones with phones. My isn't as useful in these situations as I need to have keyed the coords before hand. Well followed the others to this one for the find
Signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache The Bushies

A planned GC and GA caching run south into the Southern Highlands with phlphotos, alnic39 and Splitty Miller JJCC. Nearly missed this one, but a relatively quick find at GZ. With the cache in hand we all signed the log before replacing as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache The Bushies.

Recovering from the flu and with a few days off it was time to cache given i had done so little of it in recent weeks. Decided to head north to the southern highlands and cache some new areas - kangaloon, mount murray, macquarie pass and back towards moss vale.
Some awesome caches and handed out some favourite points as well. Thanks to all the COs today.

Found with Gronk. My father always liked perusing old grave yards to see what tales they could tell. I guess it was passed down to me also. A nice little area to explore.

I have to get one cache at least on this notable day. So many to choose from, so I kept flipping coins until I ended up with one location, and this was it. Cache in good condition, log book had no bag so is slightly damp but ok, sorry I didn't have any on me. Love this location. Thanks for the cache.

What a beautiful location for a cache, so hidden & unknown.... the old graves were beautiful... I'd hate to live in the house next door though..

I love these caches. Cemeteries always have a calm feeling about them. So peaceful here. Thankyou for the cache
What a fascinating place tucked away with rabbits all around. Love the sound of birdlike.
We were met by a friendly dog on our arrival who took us straight to the cache.

Gee, I thought I was driving into someone's back yard. After signing log I was met by a very friendly big white dog who was more interested in eating the remains of a little bunny.

How many rabbits must there be around here.

ironbark.
Took a little hunting with an uncooperative GPS but found it eventually. Buzzing from the nearby gum, possibly a beehive to be aware of.
I finally figured out how to do lists on geocaching.com then transfer them to my tablet. So put in the Rainbow Road series and a few more to loop me back around towards home. Still have a couple of things to iron out...wouldn't let me see the clues I needed to finish the multi #9 Princess Peach or #10 Mario...but all-in-all, Finalf29 and I had a wonderful afternoon. We got sixteen from sixteen...netting the last in failing light and rain.
This was my second for the day. We are really enjoying this LKA series, such peaceful places hidden away. While I was logging I could hear the sound of a bees nest way up in the old gum tree, but couldn't see them...that honey would be delicious. Thanks

An easy find in this nice quiet spot. Just watch out for the rabbits and ants that love this spot too. Tftc.
We made a quick find here today and walked among the headstones reading the inscriptions, TNLN thanks.
I found this cache as a joint part of “Team” *Throsbyonchurch* and in which name the log book was signed. I now have my own account as I’m old enough to cache myself, so I am claiming a fair share of my earlier finds. As I had no caching name at the time there's no log in the book for me but I’m claiming the find under team ToC. Thank you for the hide.
This one was a little more difficult, but we found it. My grand daughter was sad to see a 9yr old buried at the cemetery.
Know this little cemetery well, been here so many times and driven past a number of times too great to count. This is my family - the two most important lines on my paternal side who came from Somerset 1854 and Sussex 1839. They are so interwoven in this district that the other side of the cemetery is related. I love coming here, I feel so connected to my roots. CIH quickly and log signed off. Thanks for the hide Bushies. Well, it wasn't hidden to me 'great great Joe' took me directly to it.
Gosh, blink & you could easily miss this cemetery. Really knew we were in the country as the cache was found to the serenade of bovines & ovines. As this was such a small cemetery we visited most of the graves to pay our respects. Thanks to the cacher who left the handy tool, strategically placed to fend off arachnid enemies . tftc xo
what a lovely spot - I wouldn't mind this for my LKA. I enjoyed visiting the residents and soon had CIH.

This is one of those caches that really make caching one of those thing you do and realise that not all is what it seems. When I lived in this area for some 7 years I must have passed this spot on more than 100 occasions and never knew that there was a cemetary in this place.
Sorry for the late logging I needed to finish a House renovation and had a few computer and internet problems now back on the road I have the time to log again.
Thanks The Bushies I really enjoy finding something I didn't know existed.
The total count for the day was 24 consisting 20 Traditional 4 Multi
Grand Cache count = 14 total consisting of 13 Traditionals and 1 Multi

Agree with the entry below. Thank you The Bushies for bringing us here. I enjoy walking around the old cemeteries. I think most times one would drive along this road and miss the entrance.
