Quick easy find in the most obvious place considering the structures around.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
After a couple of epic fails at the lookout and one that we were hoping to try for but the "road" was fenced off we managed to pull off the road to try for this one. After looking at the obvious places I expanded my search a bit and was soon rewarded with a cache.
Wasn’t able to find it, looked between rocks etc, nothing
Another hint would be great

On my way south today with a diversion up the "mountain" and along a road least travelled by me. Parked in a safe place and followed the GPSr. Soon had the CIH and did the signing. TFTC Hoojar.

I drove past this location a couple of weeks ago and the area was being worked on, by road workers... with drizzle rain, I knew they wouldn’t be working today. This made for a nice park n grab...
Cheers

Catching up on some cache logging for caches collected in January 2017. I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a chance to log them and then forgot – Sorry !! Had no problems finding, Thanks for the cache Hoojar.
I found this cache as a joint part of “Team” *Throsbyonchurch* and in which name the log book was signed. I now have my own account as I’m old enough to cache myself, so I am claiming a fair share of my earlier finds. As I had no caching name at the time there's no log in the book for me but I’m claiming the find under team ToC. Thank you for the hide.
Found it . -- 10:51 AM -- SL TNLN TFTH. Thanks for bringing us here. Cache in good condition.
I haven't been doing much caching lately, it's just been too hot. I had hoped to make 1000 by years end but it isn't to be.
Today I left home with no prep and no real idea where to go. I remembered there were two mystery puzzles I had solved and was waiting to find them. Hubz and bubz get car sick heading down the pass so we went via Wilton and turned at Mt Keira Road to find cache 1 of 12 plus 1 DNF and ended up headed for Mt Kembla. What a beautiful area, I have never been through here before and I love it up here. I had the best day today, especially with only I DNF, usually we have more but today we had CIH quickly without any problems.

TFTC! We grabbed the cache after an enjoyable journey along the precarious roads.
Up this way Waymarking the Mt Kembla cemetery (already Waymarked Windy Gully) so drove up & had a look for this one, recording a find. Very rarely do I travel to Wollongong other than by train but the Magellan did a far better job than the Nuvi I had years ago so not so stressful. Thanks Hoojar.
Today we set out with the intention of caching our way to the Kiama Blowhole. Well we made it to the Blowhole but we only collected 3 caches along the way. The call of the ocean was too great & we ended up spending most of the day at the beach. Guess we'll have to come back for all the other caches another time!! Thanks for showing us this spot. Quick find ... Watch out for the hairy 8 legged cache keeper... TFTC Hoojar.... Left a little Serenity
A nice easy find as part of my Mt Kembla day and another suburb in this series ticked off - TFTC Hoojar
lFound on way home from a 3 day scout camp for scouts with special needs.
Amazing spans for the high voltage power lines nearby.

After passing the 1000th find today, decided to continue to pick up a few more caches along the Illawarra Escarpment.
This cache was a welcomed break after the tough-going that was Rockford Farm.
Took TB/NZ Tiki Travel Tag.

A quick find and a place to leave a travel tag which had been with me for a few days.
One of the luckier caches of today - I actually found one

After a successful find at farmborough I made this my next stop... After locating a nice thick stick I dug around for a good 10mins through pretty thick leaf & mulch debris next to several rocks and a freshly cut down tree stump which to me was the obvious place for GZ. After I got a leech it was time to call it quits & collect miss geo from school. Put a lot of effort in so left feeling disappointed!
Pretty easy find with this one as it wasn't hidden at all. Problem rectified. TFTC.
Our 8154th overall find.
Found with FarmerFrentzen on our Christmas break caching trip. This one was a tough one to track down as the tree cover initially had us looking a bit further away.
Thanks Hoojar for the cache.

Found during a run down to Wollongong with Big Matt and Shell.
It had been a little while since we had cached Wollongong and with the publishing of the LIPT we decided it was time to make another trip down south. The weather was near perfect and a very enjoyable day was had making our way around Lake Illawarra and surrounding areas.
Another early morning stop and despite the GPS struggling to get an accurate fix we expanded our radius and came up with the find.
Thanks Hoojar for the cache.

I decided to miss this one on the way into Mt Kembal due to a car parked nearby, but no such issues on the way out again! A quick stop and find, and then onwards.

Quick find! Was in the first place I looked after my wife searches for about 10 minutes. TFTC!

Looked too long on the wrong side of the tree then moved around and bingo.

Would have been easier during the day, or at least without the flashing torch with empty batteries.

253rd find for The Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition 2013. I was down in the Gong for the weekend and could not resist doing a few caches on the way home when there was a small break in the rain. Last cache for the day before the heavens opened up once again. After I had SL and drove off, I had to emergency brake to avoid hitting a lyrebird that was running across the road to escape the deluge (for a second I thought it was the Roadrunner and I was half expecting to see the Coyote chasing after him!). TFTC Hoojar, enjoying the series and cannot wait to be back to do some more!
Busy road today, cars zooming past, cache soon in had, signed the log book.
Thanks again "Hoojar" for the cache.

Stopped off here today to find another in the series, made the find easy. Signed log and rtnd, TFTC
Another day to fill in and this time a drive after work up the hill. I remember a cache not too far from here I found once with a big snake nearby. Not today. A quick find- grabbed the TB. TFTC!
Out for an afternoon caching grabbing a few of the new local caches.
A quick after stopping to watch the motorbikes.
Left a traveller
Thanks

GPS was not behaving at all here, so just searched in the likely spots and it was soon found. Love the drive between Mt Keira and Mt Kembla!
Found after a short search, the GPS was going crazy but just looked in the obvious spot.
Almost left without this one. GPS was jumping around a fair bit and kids were getting bored waiting in the car. Spotted just as I was about to call it quits. Yes those tracks do look enticing! SL TFTC
Still a shame that great partds of this area are not accessable! The trails in UnfortunatelyGZ look very tempting! it rained quit a bit last 24 hr wich meant I had to get wet to get to this one.
