This little blackbird has flown - just leaving the logbook behind. Not able to get a replacement easily as it came from overseas and with all the cache attacks in the Selwyn District feel it is time to archive this one.

Looks like Selwyn caches are being targeted and log books going missing - will go to replace soon as I can.

Awesome wee cachr but we could not find a logbook anywhere.

All the nursery rhymes got repeated here today - Crusaderwoman learned things she'd never dreamed about! Finally found this...

Cool cache. Not sure if this was the second or third visit to the cottage, but we finally got the prize this time.

Yay found it. Took a wee bit of hunting.

Found what I think is ment to be the cache but there was no log to be found. Fun as its been found just 9hrs ago according to the app. So left the thing in place where I found it. To ponder more later.

Out in Lincoln for an Event so stopped by to do this cache. Had me a little stumped with this one. Phone was telling me I was in the right area, mmm, what am I missing. Right, check the hint. Now I have the stupid rhyme in my head. Still not helping. Geokid started complaining she was cold, so was about to give up when, oh my, what do we have here. Found, signed and returned. Thanks so much for this great cache.

quick find, challenging to get the log out but we managed, found with busy paws and my best friend geo Jessie.

Eventually found it after twigs in hair and dirt on jackets. Very difficult, lots of laughs. ☺️

this was my second cache of the day in lincoln. got quite confused when at gz and it took me about 10-15mins to find the cache. you definitely need to look hard. once found, i smiled and signed the logbook. definitely see why this is a favourite. thank you.

I was in the area today and thought I'd better have a second go at this. I didn't have any clues first time around but this was rectified second time around. A reasonably quick find this time. Nice hide.

Looked and looked. When eventually seen, how could you miss. VERY clever. A favourite. TFTC!

An unexpected day off work due to plumbing issues, so decided to head this way to make a few finds. Spotted someone walking over to the GZ and I wondered if they were a cacher, especially as they were definitely searching for something, however they soon moved on. Thanks for the cache.

A favourite point from us! Amazing container. Fortunately we found this outside of school hours, there was no one else around anywhere. We did spot the firefighters all running to the station, and taking off in a truck on our way to GZ however.

A wonderful cache and the cottage was open today so I had a look around.

Is it the retarded bird with NO logbook ?

Went and did maintenance as this cache wasn't where it supposed to be, but logbook was still there - a relief as this has been replaced 3x so far as it keeps getting lost. Returned to correct co-ordinates.

What a great cache.....very nice location for such a cache.
It was a pity that we couldn't look inside the cottage, we even couldn't take a peek.

So after the find we went on with our breakfast. Up for a new day.

Mallorcatommy and I were on our journey through the southern island of New Zealand. With the help of geocaches we came to so many beautiful places, saw breath-taking landscapes and had, all in all a very wonderful journey! Thank you to all owners for placing all those nice geocaches!

Have just replaced the 4th log holder on this cache. PLEASE try and hold onto it!

Log holder gone missing again will look at replacing when I get back from the Oz Mega.

Found 'it' but the log part was not there. Looked for ages (in the dark with cell phone torches) but could not find what we thought we needed to find for the log

Around and around the Cottage I went humming a tune to a Nursery Ryme and then it all fell into place..a great cache TFTC

On a cyclocache raid (from Prebbleton) to clean out all my Lincoln unfounds. I had called in to sign off this cache about 90 mins earlier. As I homed in on GZ then - I was just 1.5m away - I was approached by a church maintenance chappie and was asked what I reckoned needed to be done re maintenance of Liffey Cottage! I haven't a clue who he thought I was! - being as I was dressed in fluro and lycra! Discussions centred around cracked putty on the windows, cracked weather boards, the need for some touchup painting and the overhanging bush at the back of the cottage. He suggested that that bush needed to be cut back clear of the building. He then asked me to help in the later task! The only tool he had was a rather blunt old saw and this fortunately proved to be not the tool for the job. After removing just a couple of offending branches he sloped off back to the church and I was then able to return to my cyclocache ride. I'll just have to come back later.

After clearing out all my other Lincoln unfounds I rode by the cottage on my way back to Prebbleton and noted that the church worker's car was gone. Yea! The cache was quickly retrieved, signed and replaced and I was soon heading at speed back up the cycleway. Thanks MacPacMum for an interesting cache

I had to bring Mrs Meekal to Lincoln today and went to find a few caches whilst she was busy. Brilliant cache and well worth a favourite point. TFTC.

3rd. Find of my little caching streak and I was busted buy a lady picking the plumbs but it turns out she knew about GC.I located the very cool cache guardian and then the concealment, SL and rntd safe. Great job so a fave point from me.

Scoped this cache out earlier in the day, then returned with Jnr 1 Squirrel after doing some research and thinking and found what we needed - very clever hide! Looking forward to finding more in the 12/12 series. TFTC.
