Headed out to Waiwera Spa today and grabbed a few caches along the way there and back. Mycro Man thoroughly enjoyed the spa. Thanks for all the caches along the way,
Collecting a couple of caches for our daily streak after chasing a white ball around the nearby golf course. Quick find. TFTC
Heading to Orewa today, for a caching day and to visit one of my uncles there. This cache along the way, just a quick nip across the road to get this one.
Todays caching day was supposed to be all about 4WD along Muriwai Beach and grabbing those letterbox hybrid caches along the beach. The weather was favourable, tide timew was good as well and the geomobile full of fuel. Only problem, no company. My intended travellers pulled out one by one leaving me alone and, sniff, sad.
Nothing for it but to call off that mission and come over to Silverdale to grab a few easy caches to push the numbers along. There are absolutely loads here and in a new area that's always a winner. It also means I can park in one place, walk a loop grabbing 4 or 5 or 6 the go and move the car again to tyhe centre of the next cluster. Managed over 30 today which although not massive numbers was a nice gentle trip and back here at a decent time with time to log them and do all the humdrum extras before work again tomorrow.
Moved the car up to nearby and walked another loop of 6 caches.
Some more of those boulders hiding in the bush up above the cache. Nice aseily found

I discovered, to my dismay, that my car battery was well and truly flat this morning. After getting some help to get it started I was left with the task of driving around to recharge the battery. Well, nothing for it but a long drive up the motorway followed by some park and grabs to get things make in full working order. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it!
With the battery recharged and the tank all gased up it was time to tackle something other than park and grabs. Well, one more park and grab could hardly hurt. A super quick find was executed here. Cheers for the cache placement!

Another use of my stealth on this super-busy highway. Quick find was had, many thanks
After completing some caches in Silverdale, headed north along Hibiscus Coast Hwy. Stopped for a quick park & grab! Found the cache in good condition.
SL, replaced & continued on my drive. TFTC!

Last cache for the day and a nice quick one at that. Had a great afternoon caching the area. Thanks for showing us around Silverdale. It's been a long time since we've been up this way and noticed a huge change to the area. We will be back soon to continue where we left off. TFTC!
[green] At long last, after two weeks of Auckland Mega and the GeoTours North and South, I can get my bike out and go for a ride. Over 30 caches by bike today!
Wow. Accurate coordinates! Sometimes I wondered if there is a local anomaly that caused coordinates on many caches to be 6-15m out. And then I come across the occasional cache that is bang on! Thanks to TheWonderStuff for taking pride in his work.

Found during fozzmiester's MEGA 2013 road trip.
One last quick find and I am on my way home. TFTC

A quick and easy grab as my days caching was starting to draw to an end. Thanks!
5587. Driving from Orewa to Hamilton picking up a few caches on the way. This was cache number 8 for the day. A quick and easy find. Thanks. Rodney and Iris.
Out and about today finding particular sized caches, this one fit the bill. Remember being here a previous time. Quick find. SL. TFTC.
Surprised to find a new cache in the place of the one we found some time ago. Not too testing on a beautiful sunny winters day walking around the area. TFTC
11.45am. Have been here before when there was an earlier cache here. Easy park and grab with no cops around.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
The hardest part was trying to find a gap in the traffic to be able to cross the road safely. A quick find, and another wait for a gap in the traffic. I guess trying to cross a main highway at rush hour is not recommended.
Just going thru my old filing system and see this as found but not logged yet. Made the grab late at night a few months ago when in the area. not a muggle about so was nice and quick thanks. sorry for the late log.silly silly me.
Returning home at 5pm, slightly jaded, after another party in Kaukapakapa the night before (yes that's 2 weeks in a row). Wanted this cache as I needed another 'Other' sized cache for GeoLicence.
Hadn't looked at where cache was before hand so was very pleased when we got close, as I had done it's predecessor. Parked right beside cache, suggested hubby to reach out the window, but as his arm wasn't going to be long enough, I had to get out. TFTC

A testing time to get this cache, but passed with flying colours so can now move along to the next stage

Another good find around Silverdale. Good to have a look around the area while on a bit of a reconnaissance mission near by.
Quick drive by find while passing by on our way home from a day trip to Omaha. No one at home today so a nice quick find TFTC.

Couldn't resist finding just one more before heading to bed (to round our figures up to 80 cache finds for the day). Super quick find, and thats enough for the day - time to sleep! TFTC

Very familiar, think we grabbed this one just before it was archived! Oh well I'll take it as a bonus!! Nice
We had found the original of this one, so thought we had better stop again to get his replacement.
We had got the previous cache at this location. So would have been rude to skip it. TFTC.
Found the previous cache at this location so once again another quick find. #30 for the day!!
Out and about grabbing the Silverdale caches. Im sure Ive been here before. Thanks.
This cache marks KiwiFruitsNZ's 1000 cache for 2012 - our first time recording this milestone in a single year!
Carried on doing another couple of caches afterwards just to the sure we had our numbers right - it was getting hot and didn't want to rely on our maths!

Missed out on the last one somehow, on the way home from a surf down road , thanks!
I was out this morning to pick up 18 of the new Silverdale caches that I haven't done as yet. This is the second time I have been at this location but the first for my eighth.
Cheers for the cache.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We decided to head up to Silverdale on Friday evening to work through the new Silverdale Town Centre series, it was a lovely evening for caching. A nice quick find, we had found the previous cache here. Thanks for the cache!

A nice quick easy drive-by. I remember finding the previous cache here in the same place. TFTC.
Saw the two new caches pop up and only had time to do one before a meeting so chose this as it was the quickest to get to. Seem to remember visiting this place before. Thanks for another new cache in the area. Not surprised to be FTF here but nice all the same.
