I spent the morning down at Fyansford Common helping out with the school cross country competition (it was my job to make sure nobody decided to run across the bridge towards Queens Park). I quite enjoyed the cooler weather and decided to make the most of it before heading back home. Off I went towards Batesford to hopefully turn another '0' into a '1' on my geocaching calendar.
This cache was exactly where it was supposed to be. A very interesting spot - I was not aware of the market gardens here. A straightforward but appreciated find.
Log signed and all replaced as found.

Another day of caching around Geelong and points west and more finds ...
There shouldn't be any problems with cache creep here.
Thanks for the cache Flying Platypus.

Thanks for the cache Flying Platypus.
I wasn't sure whether it was a road or a driveway but the GPS did not lie, and the nicely camoed cache was soon being signed. Thanks Flying Platypus for the cache.
Found It......On a lazy Saturday afternoon we decided to head down to the big smoke to have tea by the water and grab some caches on the way home. So after deciding the route we where going to take we set off. After missing the street and driving around the block we pulled up and saw something that looked promising so Mr H_3 made a dash for it and with the log signed we continued on our way home. Thanks Flying Platypus for the cache
Its got a bit of History has this place. A beautiful morning and just time for one roadside cache passing through, this one.
Lovely hide and I'm glad the neighbours know!

And on the Seventh day of my geocaching holiday I reached 7000 finds! I thought today would have ben a bit more relaxing, but since I had ran out of power trail caches (only 14 of them today) I had to travel around a fair bit. Inverleigh, Teesdale, Bannockburn, Lake Conneware and the last bit of the G2Q trail to find the last 62 caches.
And the big buld up to my milestone find was a let down as I found out from a recent log that the cache was missing! So I had to make another descision on what cache it would be.
In the end I had time on my bike and lots of airconditioned car driving to make the trip easier.
Thanks for all the caches!

A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area today. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
We're doing a drive around the district and grabbing a few caches as we go. We liked this one enough to give it a favourite point, well done.
Thanks Flying Platypus for this great hide.

So I wonder what has happened to Sloth my racing duck...no logs between when I dropped it off and the next visit but it isn't there????
Went to batesford today to get some caches. Grabbed this while the elderly onlooker did his gardening. Signed the log and gave a smile and a wave to him. Tftc
We did this one in the dark hoping not to be spotted but unfortunately we got spotted by the people in the house across the road. I liked the camo TFTC
Found this afternoon while heading back to St Leonard's, took a diversion to find this cache to drop off my racing duck!!! Hope it travels to lots of caches and records many photos. Many thanks for the cache.
Found yesterday afternoon on our way ome from Gisborne, we made a slight detour to this cache to drop off my racing duck, so it could begin its travels. Loved this cache, luckily I have seen one similar to this before otherwise I would have been stumped!! Beautiful peaceful street here, thanks for bringing me here Flying Platypus and for the cache. A favourite from me. Happy and fast travels Sloth the racing duck!!!
Our first cach. Really fun and hope other caches are as interesting as this one was
After a busy day at work in Melbourne I returned home to the Sims_family residence to find multiple different meals being prepared for the next few days in busy Sims_family week. Unfortunately non of them were quite ready yet so a decision was made to make a run to Batesford with Miss 10 to find the cache for the day.
Miss 10 has a keen eye when it comes to caching, she normally make the find before I or the Sims_family mum even gets close to GZ. Today was nor different she spotted what she thought was the cache as I drove past. She was spot on again, I drove up the road made a u-turn so that I could park on the right side of the street and we hopped out and miss 10 went straight and found the cache.
We returned to the car while I looked after the log duties she had a check through the swaps.
It is a shame that someone has been a bit rough and broken the bottom of the cache. So a bit of maintenance might be required to restore this cache to it intended position.
Thanks Flying_platypus for the cache, the smiley and helping us continue our streak which is at 153 days at present.

Super quick find, suitable for that "post kid drop-off, pre getting down to the day's work" kinda spare 10 minutes Thanks heaps, Flying Platypus!
The most exposed cache I've ever come across!! I felt like eyes were watching us, lol. Nice camo for the non-cachers. Tftc.
Nice easy one, thats number ten for the Spicy Adventurers. Bring on the hundredth...
I found the cache straight away and then realised I left my pen in the car which was parked around the corner. So I had to go back and get it. I felt a bit on show, but obviously the locals are aware which put me at ease. Thanks for the nicely constructed cache Flying Platypus.
It's night, under the cover of darkness we went. With so much chatter about this cool cache of course we couldn't not find it! The eldest boy had his hand on it but a crappy torch and the car facing the opposite way we put it back without closer inspection. Hubby turned the car around and put his hands right on it. Very clever, the cache blends in brilliantly with its surrounds. TFTC from the McPhail family
Nice easy find, lovely hide . TFTC . Had a beautiful meal at the local pub - can highly recommend it.
Another great find while on a geocaching road trip.
Thanks for adding to the fun of my Melbourne MEGA geocaching holiday.

Quick little find on our way home. Would love to know what is being farmed at the end of the road? Such a beautiful area, lots of wildlife - we were lucky enough to see a kangaroo hanging out under some trees, a million rabbits scurrying all over the place and a massive snake catching some sun in the middle of the road. Thank you for bringing us here for this clever little cache.
Rode our bikes down at 12:00 at night to find it, Was tough to find at first, but eventually found it, great fun
Nice camo on this one. Keep trying to remind geoson RZ about the need to be secretive and stealthy with geocaches but he gets so excited that he often forgets this and attacks the cache like a bull at a gate. Luckily only other person was around to observe his enthusiasm. We are hoping that it was the knowing father in law of the CO in the house across the road. Swapped lip eraser with small Taylor Swift badge that geoniece has worn all day. SL. TFTC Flying Platypus.
This was fantastic... we all walked past. Then Geokid was playing with it before we knew what was happening ....
This was fantastic. ... and a creative hide. Thankyou

Spotted this one in the rear vision mirror and had a good laugh at how cheeky it is. Tftc!
A birthday party in Geelong tonight so we headed off from Maryborough a couple of hours early to grab a few caches in areas we've not really tapped in to yet.
I was a little uncomfortable with so many houses close by but thankfully I had spotted a likely GZ before jumping out of the car so it was a sneaky but quick find. Found with neisha07 & boo09. TFTC

In town just for the day, we grabbed a few caches in Geelong, headed out to Point Henry and then made ourselves late to the party we were in town to attend because we just had to grab the webcam while here! Lots of great caches. Found with becca85 & neisha07.

Nice quick find on the way home from Geelong, luckily although it was dark use of the torch wasn't required and I had this one signed quickly to return to the road

We pulled up here on our way home to Geelong from walking in bushland today. Luckily, we had read the important notice about the gentleman across the road who was watching the vulture's activity, hardly hidden by our wings. It must have been a busy day for your father-in-law today as we found another entry bearing today's date in the log book.
Interesting construction, never saw this before! Nice to see the market gardens in the background, too.

Dropped in here on my way home. Parked round the corner and had this spotted straight away. Very nicely done.
Thanks for bringing me here.

As we arrived at GZ, something looking a little out of place but interesting. On closer investigation, a well designed cache container and camo was discovered although the ravages of repeated finds have taken their toll. The inner container and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the well designed hide Flying Platypus.
i hate the ones in front of people homes. i feel like eyes are watching me!! :/ had to be quick
Nice easy drive by today.
Nice little town to live in.
The cache was an easy find.
My in laws were involved in market gardening in Werribee South.

Good thing the neighbors are aware of what is going on as the geokids didn't use stealth! Nice easy find.
A very well constructed hide with good, accurate co-ords. An interesting area, so close to Geelong- great pub too. Thanks Flying Platypus. Nice to have a straight forward but still interesting cache, not in a tree. Many thanks- SL NTNL. The Famous Geo 5
Pulled up at GZ and spotted what I thought was the cache, bingo. Now to get it out as it was getting dark I felt around and was able to retrieve the cache. Great hide.

Found with Wozzle68 on our way to Geelong to collect Chunk's boat motor after a service. Glad you mentioned the locals know about the cache - we nearly felt too weird to drive down the road until we read that. Very creative hide. TFTC.
Found with chooknchunk on our way to Geelong for some caches. Great cache a fave from me.
