#18661 - 10:48:00 AM; Day 40 of the European Road Trip and our last day in London, before we take to the skies and head for Singapore this evening. After visiting the old pub nearby, it was only a short stroll to this old church for another cache find. Greetings from Australia and TFTC The Wombles
Greetings from Australia! was in the area so trundled down this back alley for a find.
Thanks for placing this cache The Wombles. Found in good condition.

Do I get extra Kudos for helping the catering guys open the doors to the church without dropping the very chocolaty yummyness they were carrying?! There was a function or something going on in the Crypt but outside once the chefs were gone I had the place to myself. A nice little double with the old pub nearby. Cheers from Australia, last of the afternoon.
Remember looking for this one a couple of years ago after the 16th Century pub. That time I must have had my eyes closed as I didnt event see the church! This time a super quick find. TFTC
The area has been boarded up and filled with scaffolding to enable the front of the church to be cleaned. This looks like a big job - so far they've only done the very top of the building but it does look much better for it. I can't see if the cache is still present since that area has various building materials - I expect it will need to be replaced after the work is completed.
The church is still accessible during the work and as ever well worth a visit. Please don't try to access the cache but if you do visit then please post a note to say how far the cleaning has gone down the building? I'll check/replace the cache once it's all finished.

Quick find thanks to a very clear hint. There was organ music being played tonight, but no muggles about outside the church. TFTC and G'Day from Australia.
Had to go around the block to try to find the way in to get this.
Had my Brompton but no lock, so I couldn't look inside.
Peaceful haven.
Thanks

The church was being used for a Legal function so it was all lit up and very busy - lucky I took an interet in the type of stone work the church is made from....lol...

On approach a cleric asked me if I was "looking for the key" then saw me looking at my PDA and quickly said "Oh No - I see" and courteously disappeared into the church while I located the cache. He obviously knew what I was doing
I had accessed the street via an alleyway leading from virtual cache GC4E4B and thus avoided the guard.

Number 5 of the day. Saturday 13:15 and no grumpy guards in sight - some festivity going on in the basement. Grabbed the cache, signed the book and returned just before they turned the courtyard into a chidrens' games area which would have kept me waiting for ages. TFTC.
Wow, a lot of us found this on the same day! I was there on that date from the USA. Found the cache and signed it quickly as muggles were around because of a wedding. I hid it better but in the same place. Went inside and watched the wedding and checked out the ladies hats! My wife was amazed at some of them. Thanks!
Found by Mary & David from Australia at 1355. An interesting little church, which we took time to explore. The window is certainly well worth seeing. Our thanks to The Wombles for pointing it out.
Found during lunchtime - quite easy although many folk were around. Taken a little by surprise when I realised how exposed it was .. oh well - suppose its time to pretend that I'm just enjoying the lunchtime sunshine
Found easily with the clue. Would have been pretty hard otherwise! Was hoping to pick up the bug, but it wasn't there... I guess someone took it without logging it. TFTC.
My first micro-cache find. GPS signal is... interesting... round there. Well flood-lit area. Just signed the log.
