Reperio 19:41Today I headed down to Sydney to take part in the nurses strike in Hyde Park and along Macquarie Street to NSW Parliment, and so once that was finished, I had some time to find a few caches on route towards Bowral. Surprisingly enough, as I arrived to the parking area and getting quite dark here this evening, there was a guy parked here just hanging out. I did end up waiting for a few minutes until he left before wandering over and making the find on the cache. Lovely spot here.Gratias The BushiesAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Just a bit of cemetery creeping on a Monday afternoon. Nice park & grab.TFTC.
Paper was full so I replaced with new paper and will need a new plastic for paper to go in
Nice to visit the cemetery. The day Afer an very early morning start to make the most of the day which I had for cacheing in the area, I struggled a bit with some caches (probably not quite awake) and was very happy when TikvaNZ reached out to meet up as 4 eyes find caches more than doublle as fast. We had an awesome day driving around Mittagong and Bowral finding all sorts of caches types and getting to see some beautiful corners of these towns. Our plans for a abseil and hike had fall trhough but we made the best of it and had a ball of a time finding caches up and down the road. Search 4 had joined us around midday and now we consolidated to one car and did another couple of hours of caches around Bowral. Thank you The Bushies for putting the cache out, maintaining it and contributing to this great hobby we have. Happy trails, Flintstone's
#22648 @1230Visiting Bowral for the weekend. Yesterday's focus was the Mt Jellore walk. Today was finding as many caches as we could before it was time to head back to Canberra. The first couple of caches was on my own, then I was joined by Flintstone's for the rest of the day, and by Search4 for part of the day. Just over 50 caches (including 9 lab caches) in total. Cache easily found. TFTC.
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying a few nights in Moss Vale, today we were going to wander around Berrima but saw that the temperature was only to be 9degrees all day so thought we would try some more park n grab caches instead. All rugged up with beanies off we set reaching home as the sun went down.So much history in this region. This was up the road from our last stop and the sun had just popped out from the clouds for the first time all day so we stopped in here for a looksee. Quick find now to get home before it's dark o'clock.TFTC The Bushies
Very quiet here today and plenty of parking. I found the cache and sat on a convenient seat to log, thanks for another LKA hide.
I had an hour or so of freedom while Mrs Swampcreature went shopping. Spent it geocaching of course. Such a peaceful place. Made a quick find.
Having a short break in the Southern Highlands. Cached our way from Mittagong to Robertson, the Wife said that we'd done enough for the day and that I needed to learn when enough was enough!
But couldn't pass up our 3rd cemetery visit of the day!
Thanks for maintaining the cache

9th stop for my day down in the Highlands.
I parked the geomobile in the establishment car park and opened my door. A male Magpie was standing there, looking very hopeful, even looked like it wanted to get in the car.
So after a quick photo shoot I left him and went in search of the cache.
Found the cache then sat on 'Hayley's seat' to sign the log. There was an engraver nearby creating a new headstone. That was very interesting to watch for a little while.

This one was annoying me being the only green icon in Bowral. Quick find as a lot of stealth required because people were watching us. Put back safely for the next person to find.

An exploration of Bowral was on the agenda for today with the associated geocaching. It was a mixed day, with quite a number of hides being in poor condition while others good, but in general some tough going. The weather was a bonus, with overcast skies and only light wind.
The highlight of the day was a trip up the Gib with some magnificent views and good caching thrown in at vantage points.
We completed two Adventure Labs and a few multis, but largely traditionals, with a couple of Earthcaches thrown in.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache The Bushies.

My last find of the day on a short day trip to Bowral. Nice to be able to park so close on a very drizzly day. Another in the series ticked off. Cheers The Bushies.
Tankengine and I were on our way home today and had packed TOTTS, done puzzles, had ALs in mind and had plans for the trip back.
We got muggled out of one cache, festival set up hindered one AL and the weather was just holding off, but all in all a good day in the end.
This cache: Nice quick find here. Particularly a park and grab. Tftc!!!

On our way home after a short weekend break in the Highlands. Not too many caches found but this one looked worth a stop. It was an interesting stop and a not too challenging find once I sat down to contemplate things.... In good condition. Thanks The Bushies

1 September 2019 @ 2:46 pm. FINALLY!! Came to officially sign the log for another smilie. Found your awesome cache while OCW *Throsbyonchurch* and *Little Kitten*. Thanks *The Bushies* for a great hide and adding to a fun day. Mum decided to head out for a drive seeing as it was such a glorious afternoon. With some expenses coming up this week she decided not to head out of town but enjoy a nice drive signing logs in caches I have not yet signed - all official now.

Found cache quickly, could’ve been a p&g. However, we visited a few graves, paid our respects leaving flowers . We like the LKA series, but some of the nearby graves left us heavy hearted today. TFTC The Bushies
Nice quiet location here and a few people saying hello to their loved ones. I must have driven past here many times but glad to have an excuse to stop.
Thanks The Bushies

#6071 (9 of 14 today)
Don’t need finds today for my calendar goal, but April is my worst month for finds. So with no other commitments today I headed back to the Southern Highlands for some plundering. In the end I got fourteen, with just the one DNF. But again I avoided the big power trails and even did a series of multis in Bowral.
But I did start with a small trail in a piece of urban bushland.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
There were both muggles and workers here today, so this one took a little longer than it should. Finally had a clear enough period where I could check one spot I hadn’t eliminated by walk bys.
And there it is.
Signed replaced and waited for my chance to replace.
Another in the series completed.

Decided to grab a few bonus caches before we headed back north.
This was a quick find. No container, bag is broken and the three logs are all damp. Needs a little TLC. TNLN TFTC

Out again to day in Bowral to collect some GCA trig caches and GC traditional caches.
Thanks to all the cache owners.
Thanks to all the cache owners.
OCW marj01. Todays plan was to visit the Moss Vale area and complete the Yarrawa Road Trail and the Forgotten Australian series, then grab any other caches we could on the return journey back to Sydney. This slippery little sucker was found without much effort. Thanks for placing this cache.
Was out doing some maintenance, this being one. New container and log. All good now.
