The last of my traditional caches to be archived. It's a bit sad seeing them all go but life's circumstances do have a tendency to change and I felt that I should clean up after myself so to speak and leave areas free for others to hide caches should they wish.
Loved the container and it certainly has a lovely hiding place. Thanks Perusal - all is good with cache.
12:28:00 PM. Found on my way to Bryon with Griffo. Log signed. Thanks Perusal for the cache.
Every day is a good day to Geocache. Out caching today with Baby Birt. Easy enough find when we happened to look in the right direction. Took a TB.

Found the cache after a delicious breaky at Harvest Cafe. Took a tb and left a tb. Tftc
Checked out the Newrybar and the Harvest Cafe first...very fancy! Geo-little son spotted it first (we think the butterfly had fallen from the tree?? So we put it back up??)
Took a slight detour for this one. Found container and retrieved the TB inside. TFTC
Kate found it. Great design!!!! Had to pretend the boys were peeing as some muggles drove past.
We left Lismore with clouds threatening and we drove through quite a bit of rain. Luckily when we got here the clouds cleared to allow us a relatively easy search.
Found the container; it actually matched Purple's top. Signed log and walked back to the car.
As we sat in the car the heavens opened up once again.
So great timing and our leap souvenir - T4TC Perusal.

Morning at the beach turned into a rainy day drive. Checked out the newly open highway tunnels up the road and the quieter hinterland way now.
Left a trackable and took the geocoin.

We have been finding a lot of small caches in the area and it was great to see one large enough for some swaps TFTC
Found it after dropping girlfriend of at Ballina airport. Son thought it would be great driving practice taking the old road back to Byron bay. Loved the views And great driving practice for the learner driver
Found with LenkaBug on a might-be-raining-soon afternoon...
Found without GPS working locally - defo in an I-expect-the-cache-will-be-there location!

Just finished an amazing brunch, and noticed this nearby cache in honour of the establishment ..
How could I resist.
How could I resist.
Out and about today heading south to an event at Lismore tonight.
So I thought I would set off a little early and find a few caches on the way.
A quick find here today and all good after the weather from the last few days.
Thanks for the cache.

What a lovely spot, and a lovely cache. Some lovely swaps and a couple of trackables inside. Lovely! Thank you )
Being a neil young fan i had to lengthen my detour off the highway for a cache with a name like this...love the album...and particularly the song...loved the cache container tooo...a fave point from me
I was lucky enough to run away for the weekend and found myself in this lovely part of the universe. dabom81 and myself were heading for Lake Ainsworth to cool down and find the new cache there. Seeing as this one was only a short detour off the beaten track, I steered Spangle in the direction of GZ.
When we arrived I made sure to be careful of the pretty ferns growing about the place and we quickly spotted the gorgeous beasty. This container certainly had me fluttering After signing the log, and leaving some TBs to continue their journey, we replaced the container as it had been found.
Thanks for the cache Perusal

What a delightful little place Newrybar is. I can well understand why the cache owner likes this area and has placed the caches around here. It was also good to see so many geocachers visit the caches on their way home from Queensland MEGA at Easter 2015.

Rusty85 and I had been out for a morning of caching and as I was driving I thought hmm lets go home another way, but we got a phone call that took our minds of caching so I pulled into Old Byron Bay Road to see where to go and look at that, there is a cache, wow what a surprise, loved the container, took a butterfly to remind me of the cache left swag to replace. What a gorgeous drive. TFTC
Out for the morning with diamonjs, decided to do a little trip to Bangalow, on our way home and stopped up a side street, diamonjs decides to check the gps and oh look there is one 4 km down the road, so course you know where we went. Lovely little drive and beautiful view from the ocean from up there. TFTC
Nice little detour off the highway through some beautiful countryside. Great butterfly cache making No 14 of day 1 of 5 days to Canberra. TFTC.
after a fabulous lunch at Harvest in Newrybar, it was back to caching with this one first on the list. the road has been closed to residents only due to the roadworks but no big deal, I walked down from the corner but it isn't really necessary to do so. loved the container reminiscent of wingap's in Stanthorpe.

Tranquility plus. No moon around this time of the month so harvesting by daylight only.
Thanks to Perusal and clear skies from TeamAstro.

We'd just experienced the bounty of the harvest just up the road - what a feast! This cache topped off the experience. We love the container - TFTC!
Great little off the beaten track cache. After an awesome lunch with Geo-friends, collected this one on the way out! TFTC
With The Rats and I each on a family holiday in the vacinity, we decided to team up for an afternoon of cache finding.
Last find for the day, a late evening find as The Rats drove me back to the MIL's farm.
Cheers

Two Wollongong geocachers teamed up to find a few of the local Northern Rivers caches today. We stopped here after an unexpected detour forced us out this way. Clever camo we soon spotted.
Thanks

After geopartner parking nearby, I made my way in.

Walked on both sides until I remembered reading the description.
Had lunch at the deli. Ham and egg pies and salad. Yum. bought sour dough bread.

We are in Byron for a few days mainly to attend a wedding but caching is always in the back of our minds and we also wanted to get Nyssaflutterby's archived multi!
Went to the wrong place first but soon adjusted and then had the cache in our hands!

Nice little hide retrieved by Geolze. Took Miss combi t/b .... she's coming to Thailand. Gorgeous little cache. TFTC
GPS was way off, but we had a little hunt and found it easy I love ferns! Tftc
Beautiful, quiet spot, lots of birds in undergrowth today. Gave me a fright as they flew out. Love the container. We picked up the speedy little red TB Oliver and will race it onward. It has had a long pit stop! Thanks perusal, it will be interesting to see how the new highway impacts on this area. Harvest cafe was packed today, as it is every day these days. Had a great coffee on our way here.
Out checking my caches today. This one now has to be approached from the east as the road is temporarily closed in the west due to highway construction. I ignored the detour signs and just drove in the short distance to the cache. Dropped TB.
Was planning to do Bangalow in a nutshell today to fill my calendar. But when I got an invite to the nearby cafe for brunch I changed my plan and found this cache instead. GPS was wanting me to look on the other side of the road. The hint made it easier. TNLN thanks for the cache Perusal.
Another interesting container. We started hunting on the wrong side of the road until Mr Herbz GPSr changed its mnd and led us straight to GZ. TFTC

My iPhone did not like being under the trees. So out came the real tool. GPS. Once we got the correct side the cache was in hand. I really liked the lid of the cache a lot. TFTC and fun. Took TB.
Found it... after watching bubblegum_14 wasting time with her stupid iPhone, my little Garmin E-Trex located this one exactly where it was.... Great little spot !! TFTF
Gourmet is still longing for a meal at Newrybar's famous cafe. Caches are easier to come by so far. An easy find, despite the long grass. Beware mosquitos! Took TB, left TB.
Today we drove from Bayron Bay to Balliga and logged 9 caches.

We thoroughly enjoyed our drive around this local countryside following the hunt for Perusal's new caches. This was number 3 of her caches we found today and yet another unique container. Cache was found safe and in good condition. Signed the log and swapped a pathtag for a little croc. Thanks Perusal for this opportunity for a smilie.
Drove in from the highway and my first thoughts were, this is some expensive country around here, with some awesome views. The cache is in a nice peaceful spot muggle free, very good.I think I put the wrong date on the log. TFTC.Perusal.
Yah, ftf for Griffo. Doesn't happen too often and I was lucky I was working nearby. Took a while to find. Took tb.
Many thanks
