Move out of the area soon so I am closing my caches as the get maintenance note or lots of DNF's
School holidays in Brisbane. Found by geohubbie. We call them biscuits but prefer the softer American style cookies.
Rhobocacher had already found this one unbeknown to us, so with there guidance this was a quick smile Tftc

Snakes don't hibernate, they bruminate- had a bit of a scratch around but not game enough to dig for long
Searched everywhere. Could not find it. Owner needs to put cache back where it is meant to be otherwise GPS is useless.
So hot. Sadly did not find but suspect it was in plain sight! Will come back another day on this one!
Could find this one at all looked all through the banksias and surround trees and nothing. Previous notes say it has been moved slightly so not sure where it is now
Found it with our friends that live nearby told them about our addictive activity and they love it and so does their princess
Out and about this morning for walk from a friends place.
This took a bit of searching before finding it. So many bushes have been searched under by those before me.
Thanks for the cache.

2nd one we found today so far and nice banksia trees around geocaching with new member woodyy67 TFTC
I wandered around for a few minutes and then saw container about 10 metres away from where my gps showed. Container was uncovered and out in the open. I signed log and rehid container a little better. TFTC TT.
After a meeting at the Anglican Church nearby, I was keen to find at least one cache before I had to dash back to another meeting in Brisbane city. This seemed to be the nearest so I came running over, wandered in and thankfully made an easy find. All good inside so TFTC and I hope to be back in Burpengary very soon for more.
Phew needed muscles to open this one , TNLS added signature item TFTC 4th find of the day with alt_h , also added in the item that were left on top
These tins are always deceiving for me. I can never tell if it has cookies or sewing stuff inside Haha this time it's neither and I found geocaching stuff inside. My last one for the the
This was a good find, even if I did disturb 6 kids from whatever strange game they were playing by parking in their street... W/ Meerkat Madness
Took the wrong way by foot to get to this spot. Then there were all the likely spots to check with the GPS jumping around. TFTC
As we crept through the park, the plovers protected their babies, watch your back as they may attack! We passed the container around trying to open it but muscle Deb saved the day. We took nothing and left a deadly dragonfly. So watch out that he doesn't jump out at you when you open the tin!

Another foray into the sunshine coast hinterland was on the agenda for today.
Let's see how many more smilies we can coax out of the region!
A nice quick find here once I got past laughing at the absurdity of the hint! LOL ...
Here I stand looking at a forest of them!
Signed the log & replaced all as found.

Looking for a cache to fill my date grid. This one isn't too out of reach today!
Oh the leaves!!!! They sure are loud!!
I tried from several different entry points, but was unable to see anything that looked out of place... Hearing some nearby muggles, I took a step back and tried to rethink my entry....
So, I decided the most direct route might not be the best idea and searched for another, quieter entry point, when I spotted the cache!! AWESOME!!
I snuck in, not making a sound... Finally placing my hands on the cache.... and the lid was stuck tight!! OMG are you kidding!?!?! After a bit of a struggle and some choice words of assistance the lid FINALLY came loose! Yippie!

Gezz, could these leaves be any louder! After some quick and loud ferreting around the cache was quickly found.
This cache was part of an Aussie Day Adventure cache run. What's a better way to get out and celebrate this great country then heading outside and finding a few caches. The area being explored today was roughly around the Burpengary region. There wouldn't have been any sense in trying to cache up here on the Sunny Coast as it would have just been impossible due to all of the Tourist Muggles that had migrated up for the long weekend.
There was a goal today, and that goal was to grab 50 caches between 0900 and 1700... Awesomely, that goal was smashed with a grand total of 54 finds! I am glad to say that this cache was one of those lucky caches to be found.
Thanks for the cache Treking Trev. The cache is in good order.

My three month Brisbane adventure is continuing. Day 34, Redcliffe.
Today is much cooler, and not as humid as it could be. I've loaded up my 4WD with GeoSchnauzers, ice water and geocaching kit. I'm off for a day of walks for the GeoSchnauzers with geocaching thrown in. I'm heading towards Burpengary today - I'm looking forward to a day of views, walks, and caches.
No 3 of 12 today. Thanks, Treking Trev. Here's another walk, a bit shorter, and shade for the GeoSchnauzers to sit in while I searched. I got it eventually, but the banksia leaves were enough to make me think these banksias are deciduous!! Obviously, and thankfully, there has been no fire to clean up the debris.

Passing through the Narangba area today and I stopped and grabbed a cache or two on the way. This one was a quick and easy find once I found my way into the estate which I didn't have in my maps.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Arriving at GZ would have preferred clue to be a bit more specific. Seriously, do you know how many banksia trees are here?! Once a sensible access path was located, cache easily spotted and reached.
Quick find thankfully, this big black ants were looking hungry, not good with little kids. All in good condition here, leftTB stamp in log, TFTC

Got this one be careful of the ants I was informed about by bloodredtigers after I had bush bashed my way through them lol #201 tftc
Quick & easy, be careful which way you go in, there those big black ants that nest within the closure of the leaves Rumchaser1 walk right into one luckily wasn't covered in ants hahahah :') tftc!
Staying with friend in Burpengary and happy to see lots of caches in the locality. Nice one. We found the cache after a short search.[^][^] Thanks to Treking Trev.
Arrived at GZ and thought I might be here for a while.... but managed to find it in the first spot I looked!!
Thanks Treking Trev.
Thanks Treking Trev.
This was our second visit to locate this cache. I remembered that I wasn't a big fan of banksia trees the first time and this opinion was not modified today. After a lot of rummaging around our efforts were rewarded with a find. Thanks Treking Trev for another sneaky urban hide. Lots of fun.
Back on the North side of town sooner than expected so a chance to visit some more of what Burpengary has to offer. Unfortunately the weather was going to be the biggest problem of the afternoon with some severe storms predicted after that spell of hot days recently!!
Managed to grab ten for the afternoon before the storm hit as we weren't going to risk getting struck by lightning….
-------------------------------------------------
Number 3 - No problems here and a quick find. All Ok with log and cache.

Found with geonanny/aunt/kid, I spotted it but let the oldies have a turn at spotting it and grabbing it. Nice spot. Tftc
Found the cache quickly but the lid was pretty firmly on so as I tried to get it lose I said "It feels like when I get it open everything will go flying out" and a few seconds later that is exactly what happened. We gathered up all the contents and signed the log. Long day caching out in Burpengary and surrounds. TFTC
Big day out at Burpengary and surrounds with Karenhippo and lucky for us, it was a bit cooler.
Really like the tin but dubious spelling of cookie . Ms KH struggled with the lid and then, well, biscuit crumbs all over the shop. We scrabbled around and picked it all up.
TFTC Treking Trev Nice hide here!

Wow lots of banksia bushes. was worried that we would be here for hours but luckily happened to pick the right one after a minute or two of searching. Tftc
A quick find, stealth was the order of the day the nearby neighbours were entertaining. Thanks Treking Trev for the cache.
They've always been biscuits to me. A funny word if you think about it. But so is cookie I guess. With net88 and /dev/gc0c today and parking was no issue. After a short walk in, /dev/ found the cache among the trees and set about trying to open it. It looked like it took some effort and when it let go, it came apart with some force and swag, pens and logbooks went flying. Oops The logbook was signed, everything put back together and rehidden as found. TFTC Treking Trev
Found this cache whilst out for the day with Captain Terror and /dev/gc0c. We had originally planned on doing the Samsonvale area but as the day went on we found ourselves further and further north . We walked around and around and eventually /dev/gc0c found the cache. Unfortunately it took him quite a while to open the container and then the swaps exploded out everywhere Thanks for the cache Treking Trev
With Captain Terror and Net88. Finally! Found this one first .
Biscuit or Cookies? Not sure but it is a hard to open tin and things can go flying if not careful.

Managed to park at the end of the culdesac someone was teaching there kids to ride so had to be ultra careful
Found with Wombles on a nice full day of caching goodness I was on one side and she was on the other and soon I heard those magic words signalling that I was not on the ride side Took us a while to get it open but we got there in the end

Another find on our day out. Good weather and a long list of caches to hunt for.
The lid sticks on one side, but got it open eventually.

Mmmm cookies.
Parked at the end of the dead end street and wandered over for a look. The clue was not much help! Neither was the GPS, which wanted me to search 6 metres away from where I eventually found the cache. Crawled around amongst the bushes and eventually found the cache, and a golf ball. Evidently, this park is occasionally used for golf practise.

So, I'm out and about on a rainy holiday Monday after having been cooped up with domestic duties all weekend so far. Gotta get out and achieve something this weekend. Rain? Pffft, I get wet. Quick find in a park that looks like it's about to get neighbours. That's development I guess.
Thanks for placing this cache, Treking Trev. Found in good condition.

Thank heavens for previous logs. Also got needlessly dirty and covered in cobwebs. Out caching with 1\4 of kiwikeenes.
We had completed the nearby power trail this morning and after refuelling with some lunch we headed out to find a few more caches in this beautiful Winter weather - 28 degrees?! Gotta love QLD! This was a nice quick find. TNLNSL TFTC
The hint made me laugh, but which one. Rev retrieved whilst Eco hovered in the trees
A bit of a hunt at this one too. Soon enough my poking stick made the noise we were looking for
