This cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.
The guidelines advise that the CO should make regular visits to check on the cache as well as promptly address any logs that indicate that the cache requires some attention. You need to disable the cache if you cannot attend to it promptly - I have disabled it this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by 8th June?**
If you cannot respond to the situation as requested, please add a note to the cache page detailing the situation **and providing an actual date when you expect the situation to be resolved.** This is to allow others to understand the what is happening - as well as - to prevent the cache from being de-listed as abandoned.
Have a read of the [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) which explain a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.
I also want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing this cache up and running in the future.
**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [**Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [**Temporarily Disable and Enable**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

I ended up in Ivanhoe Grammar trying to get to this one. The nice gardener put me straight, and straight out the gate. So off I went. I took a couple of wrong paths, got my shoes very wet, but after a bit of a hunt, found the cache.
Found, with +Wife: A big slide, a few little creeks, a swamp, heaps of leaf curl spiders, two shins full of stinging nettle, boxes up trees, many bird species, a better way to gz and the cache, at at S 37° 46.712 and E 145° 02.747 EPE: 4.42m (not worth correcting).
Thanks for placing this cache squidzie,
An interesting area steeped in history, I think we shall return for a better look, soon.

Found after the awards event today. I let n0w0rries battle the nettles and spiders first. TFTC sqiudzie
16:09, 22 January 2018, log sheet very wet and cache not where gps says it should be approx 11 mtrs out.. full log to follow.
My first geocache ever! Awesome location.
Pen does not work very well, log book is damp but usable.

Found opened to the heavens and filled with water. Of course no signage possible. Will notify CO
First cache in awhile. Got the kids on the bikes. First attempt was wrong side is the little creek (not Wilson's reserve) but got there in the end
Wet and windy day. Good walk in between showers. Found without much problem. Log book soaked.
Thanks
Thanks
A lot of my experience resembled others. I tried first from Wilson Reserve carpark, and retreated when the way became more and more overgrown and swampy. Luckily I was riding a bike, and quickly found the correct track. Spent quite a bit of time searching the area indicated, and was rewarded with a few painful blackberry prickles! Then I moved areas and found the cache about 8 metres south of where my phone showed (as described by somebody else). Also as noted, the contents were rather damp, and the paper of the log could benefit by a few hours exposure to the sun! I put the log in a new plastic bag to protect it from more water, but the bag was too small to fasten the ziplock. Better than nothing, I guess. The area was very enjoyable (except for the blackberries!) and lots of bird calls were heard.
This was found out in the open, and rather swimming in rancid water. I rescued a tb and hid it a little better than I found it.
Nearby I was astounded at the wealth of birdlife around- so many varieties. I tried to take a photo of ducks, but ducks are mean, and they all swam away before the shutter went. Never trust ducks, they are troublemakers.
I also admired some nearby memorials. One had been completely defaced, which is sad and disrespectful. I'm not sure I've ever come across a memorial shed before though.
The council are doing things in the locality which will presumably bring more visitors.

I introduced my cute husband so geocaching today! His first cache, my first in the Australian nature! It's a different level of excitement when you think you're going to be eaten by snakes and spiders all at the same time!! Haha tftc!
Have up after a while as there was too much bush-bashing and my map wasn't taking me anywhere.
Looks like contsiner may have been left open very wet and dirty might neef some tlc
Found today with the McLookers while heading towards the Victorian Cache of the Year Awards. Thanks sqidzie for bringing us here to this lovely spot.
Found today about 8m south of where the GPS was indicating. Nice spot, found with The Tritonz.
We got here the long way round but eventually found gz. However it is very overgrown and the GPs was pointing to a particularly dence pile of uprooted plants that looked like the result of recent weeding as well as flood spoil. After 10 mins it looks possible the cache has floated away maybe
Approached from the wrong side of the creek. My advice don't come in from Wilson reserve. Come in from ChelmsWorth Park. TFTC.
Another success. A good one for doing with the kids, with the playground so nearby, and lots of great spaces to explore.
We came by this cache before for a look, on a day of geocaching disappointments where we just didn't find anything and there was more enthusiasm for giant slides in the playground than caches. But today is another day!
On the bikes today so that made the getting here more fun, and I had the gps rather than just the phone. Geokid spotted it while I was still circling - it was lying out quite visibly, it looks like maybe some pruning/weeding has been done around here recently so it may have been moved from its hide. We hid it a bit better but it might need a check. thanks for the cache!

Didn't have much trouble finding this one - the coordinates weren't perfect, but they were certainly good enough. Removed some very unappetising foodstuffs from the cache and carefully re-hid it. The ziplock bag has definitely seen better days, but otherwise this cache is in good condition
TFTC!

Out and about with Lionlord and Benjoda - decided to come here and grab a quick one.
Lionlord wanted to play on the big slide whilst I reminisced about my school days when I used to play sport in the nearby sports ovals.
Thanks for the trip here today - all found in good order.

Tried previously without success but mindful of some comments that the coordinates are a bit out I widened my search to the other side of the track and found easily
Here in the company of quiet1_au and GJMMelb. We were looking for a few more caches after completing the first 12 in the nearby bike trail series. G found this cache vert quickly, after we had stepped through a swamp!!! There was a perfect path we could have taken, but which way is my crew leading me??? TFTC
I had had a quick look for this cache previously whilst helping out with a micro-bat count in the reserve but without luck due to a hurried search in dense undergrowth and vague GPS reception. This afternoon whilst caching with my regular "crew" of lochb and G' of GJMMelb we decided to have another go. Approaching from a different direction we thought there might be a shortcut - there wasn't - however we gave it a try anyway. My first steps were greeted with a stab of pain in my shin (I was wearing MTB shorts) - stinging nettle I presume - but for a while following a little trail was looking OK. Then we reached a little creek which wasn't too big a hurdle but then it was wet, swampy ground - lochb wasn't too pleased. A big tip - take the paths - they're quicker, easier, less messy!... Anyway, we soon reached GZ and I made comment that I bet it gets found in 30 seconds - I think it only took 10-15!... It certainly helps to have extra eyes, less wandering jew and looking in the right place! Happy to have finally crossed this one off my to-do list. TFTC
After discussing the best parking spot for this cache Lochb, Quiet1_au and myself drove down into the car park. A really nice spot. Rather than following the track (big mistake) we set off in the general direction of the cache. After following a rough grassed track we came to a spot where we had to make a decision. We decided to press on across the ground. At first it was rough but ok until we reached the swamp. I pushed on quickly trying to keep to the grass and got though without getting wet feet. Q came next carefully picking the best spots. L came last and got stuck. Eventually we all got through and then found the cache in quick time. Thanks squidzie

Lots of native birds around: Superb Fairy Wren, White-browed Scrubwren and Eastern Yellow Robin.
I attempted this cache many months ago using the GPS on my phone with zero success. Today I returned with a proper GPS unit and located the treasure immediately. Tftc.

On a visit to Melbourne. What a beautiful park. Pencil broken so photo confirmation. TFTC
Found without too much trouble with geokids. Interesting bit of Scouting History here in Wilson Reserve, as Australia's oldest Scout Group, 1st Ivanhoe Sea Scouts started here in 1908, just one year after Baden-Powell started the movement in the UK. Wilson Reserve is in fact named for the original scoutleader. There's a few plaques here, on the path near the old boat store between the car park and the cache. TFTC.
hmmm.. a couple of rather discontent logs below completely belies the fact that this is a good cache which is eminently findable, even in failing light (we collected it at about 8:30pm). My GPS was a little bit out, but hardly surprising given the tall trees surrounding the GZ. The container is in good condition, the log is very full and ever so slightly damp.
All in all, a good cache. Thanks squidzie, and for future hunters, fear not.. this is a good one. TFTC!

Logs indicated this would very much be a needle in a haystack game. Not today!
Out on a cache Run with PantherX in the north of the city.
What a gorgeous little park tucked away in the burbs. From the evidence I can only assume this was a scout park given the old hall and camping ground areas. I wish i had come here in the day to take it all in as the torches were on their last legs. This was eventually spotted but not after a fair bit of searching.

I was out caching with Burge tonight and we headed to the inner north to try to fill in a few gaps on the map. We found 18 caches all up on this run.
I think we managed to take a reasonably short route to this one. Parked at the road, wandered down the driveway, jumped down the slide and cut through the playground and then walked to GZ. At least, the journey was more straightforward than locating the cache as there was plenty of undergrowth to search through! It wasn't helped by the fact that our torch batteries were slowly dying but perseverance paid off in the end. Thanks for the cache, squidzie!

Turned this one into a night cache on the way home. Easy enough find after quicks search, helped to have lots of eyes searching. TFTc
Team effort night caching with BB, CM and CM Jnr. Thanks Squidzie. [^]

Poking around in bushes, in a park, just as the light is disappearing, is not something that should be done alone. Thankfully, there were five of us which made the job a lot easier. Torches helped too.
Thanks squidzie
Thanks squidzie
Third find with JSando. Many thanks to Sharkiefan for coords. Pity we didn't read logs till wed been searching for a while already. Thanks for bringing us to another amazing place very close to our home. TFTC
Gday all,
It's been a great ride watching so many happy cachers enjoy Ah The Serenity and its surroundings as I do. I still regularly visit the park to fly my radio control glider (if you see a young dude flying a big gliding around the place, it's probably me )
What a terrific community this seems to be.
I've neglected to update the co-ordinates for far too long, and I'm sorry for any difficulty locating the cache on my account! I've had several corrections on the true co-ords and I'll need to ascertain which is actually the most accurate and update it.
I am however heading overseas for an indeterminate amount of time soon and I'll no longer be able to keep an eye on the cache. Before I'll go I'll make sure there's a pen and paper etc and that the co-ords are updated, but beyond that it'll be in the hands of the community.
If anyone reading this is a regular to the park or would like to keep an eye on it, by all means do so. It's been fairly low-maintenance so far so there shouldn't be many issues, though someone did record a missing pen recently (and as I said I'll get onto that!)
So happy caching and all that, and it'd be much appreciated if anybody can fill the gap. Feel free to send me a message if need be.

Found it with the coordinates given by someone in the logbook. They were spot on. Thanks for the cache, discovered a cool playground for the kids while we were at it.
Sharkiefan's coordinates are correct. Found it with Bonstar. Nice little hideaway; -) tftc!
I found your cache to be at S37° 46.712 and E145° 02.744. Just a rough coordinate. As others have said I find it about 9m out but due to tree cover that's not too bad. Kinda just looked around and lifted stuff until I found it. What a good size hide for this area. Tftc
I visited this park a few weeks ago but I was on the wrong side of the swamp. After looking at a satellite view of the park I headed out today and found the cache just off the main path, as stated in the description. Wandering back to my car I stopped to watch a few Red-rumped Parrots that were enjoying a feed of grass seeds.
Have walked this track for many years but not recently. Thanks for making me revisit it is an aptly named cache & a fab! Spot. TFTC
First we got our lunch, then we took a stroll!! It was so great. We practically forgot we were big time g - aching. We got side tracked playing cops and robbers but we're back on track with no time to spare. Unaided by the gas whatsoever, my counterpart practically tripped over the treasure chest!
No worms were harmed during this operation. Another mission triumphantly succeeded by the marshmallow pirate society.

The plan had been to grab a few caches with a morning bike ride however the rain dampened my enthusiasm so I decided to have a drive around and fill in some gaps. Like others my GPSr had me searching in the wrong place. Once I crossed over the track I soon found it. TFTC.
Took a while as my iPhone had me looking in the wrong place but once I found the right area it was an easy find. TFTC.
Found this after a bit of searching. My gps put me about 7m away but finally found the cache. Loved the park and the history about Skipper Wilson and the Ivanhoe Sea Scout. Thanks for bringing me here and for the cache.
I was sitting around at home and had finished lunch, the kids went swimming so I went out caching and decided to grab a few around the Yarra River area. Weather was good, not too hot and a nice cooling breeze at the same time. Still not too many muggles around during the Xmas break time which made it easier today.
I parked near the footy ovals and walked into this cache today in a deserted park and found it after a 30 second search totally exposed so have returned it to its obvious hiding place.
Thanks squidzie for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Lots to see in a hidden park. Lots of sculptures and monuments. Needs another visit. My iPhone indicated .712 and .743. But the given coords were close enough for me to find it. The final hunt is often the fun. TFTC.
A great walk past the cricket games and dog runs. Found a track that took us to the cache nicely hidden and the log was in hand at 15:15. TFTC
TFTC squidzy. Lovely location. Junior Cacher Flopsybunny had a great time on the very long slide nearby. Bonus! Jimmytherat.
Woo! First find. Took a while but Gemma's keen eyes finally found it! Very excited about the goodies.
Lovely area, a few scratches from battering around in the wrong places, found it while trying to get a look at a potential hiding spot.
Took a while to find this one - the gps kept bouncing around. Just happened to look where it was - but definitely could've easily missed it! Also, probably not the best to do at night haha TFTC
