A sneaky little hide here

The jinta crew packed some food and fuelled up the car for a caching foray into the far north! It was a glorious day and we enjoyed our time up here.

Blackrat1414 - jinta29 found your cache Black-Rat Run Number Seventeen on 23/08/2015 11:59 am. This is my find #3605 and find #14 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Easy find once we got there. Looked for the thing not quite right and low and behold there it was. Yay

Today is Pi day and on the way to an event marking the occasion I made an early start to pick up a few caches in the area.

had a quick look here and felt a bit exposed so I left.

We headed north initially to tackle the Industrial section of Joondalup, hoping it would be reasonably quite on a Sunday. However with recent finds and discussion on BR15 we headed a bit further north and after a successful kill there we decided to grab this one on the way down.

Went out around lunch time with ask277 to knock off the last few Blackrat1414 caches that were missed when we did the Black-Rat Run a few weeks ago. ask277 actually revisited this one and found it a week ago and gave me a little hint so that I could find it quickly and get my final Blackrat smiley. After a DNF four weeks ago I decided to go back and have another look this morning (since shlj had found it). Looked around for another 5 minutes and still couldn't find anything, but then just before I was about to leave, checked one more spot and there it was. Glad to finally find this one. tftc.

Wow, we didn't expect to find this one really, co ords a bit of, there was no way we were looking in someone's garden.

The goal this morning was to find all of the caches in Joondalup suburb and we ended up finding 27 so not a bad effort. Unfortunately this was one that we couldn't find. Had to explain numerous times to the neighbours what we were doing and felt like we looked absolutely everywhere... but no cache to be found

I joined ask277's team bright and early this morning as our goal was to find 27 caches by lunchtime (yes, we succeeded! Looked for a while for this one but didn't find it. Neighbours explained the street light had been vandalised the night before. Wonder if they made off with cache?!

Nice cool morning out caching with the geokids. This one reminded me of another cache in Augusta.

Back up this way on a very hot sunday with skippy 46 and MNS13.
We picked up some more Felix caches and got some of the Machman caches but our main aim was to do a lot of the Blackrat caches today.
we didnt do to bad we ended up with 29 finds and 5 DNFS.
Half the caches were found quite quick but a few took a bit of searching and some were very tricky to find.
A few minutes of searching and the cache was found TFTC BlacRat1414

In the area today with Skippy46 & OOH YEH trying to bump up our find tallies.
It was quite a bit warmer than expected today, we still managed some good finds though.

Overall we made 29 finds and 5 DNF's
Most of the caches were found quickly, but there were a few that had us searching a bit longer.

After meeting JacobsCrew at the last event, we decided to do a caching run together.
With a couple of emails, the location was decided.
So with an early start, we headed for Joondalup.
We had a great day, with a good variety of cache hides and managed to find most of them.

I teamed up with The Drovers today to do a full day of geocaching today and we managed to put 71 smileys on our list today with a number DNFs on the way too. It was a pretty hot day today and that was going to be factor in the time we finish today. It was a fantastic day and I enjoyed the company of The Drovers. We all had turns in getting the finds and had a few periods of DNFs which made it tough going at times.Mrs. Drover was on a roll and found this one quickly eventhough I had a look here earlier..TFTC

I managed to escape for and a few minutes on my cashing anniversary. I knew these ones were close so I had a go at getting closer to finishing the series. I like the quick finds, Thanks Blackrat!

Its fair to say that I havent done these in order or managed to be successful with every one of the caches in this series. But this has been a very enjoyable caching day out and about in whatever suburb this actually is. This one was no problem at all, but perhaps further along the path than I was expecting. Cheers

Looked for a couple of mins, but felt too conspicuous messing around behind someones fence. Guess I need to get better at this 'stealth' thing...

[:(!] Went for an afternoon of caching with the geowife, parked the geocar close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ and wondering around for a couple of minutes we finally had the cache in hand.

After struggling to find the right parking spot for number eighteen, I carried on to this one first. I read the description as I approached. Hmmm sneaky hide in a walkway...

I got very lucky here, as I walked up to GZ the cache was lying on the ground a little out in the open, so I was able to make a quick find. I tucked it back where I thought it should go, but you may want to just check on it and put it back in it's correct place.

Cycling around Joondalup, trying to find the Black-Rat Run series... Short search, thanks.

Well when we eventually surfaced from the late night fog it was time to head up with the geo bikes to try and complete the blackrat series so far.

We parked up near 'The Clinic' cache and cycled our way around. Bit warm today and we are both a little sunburnt now.

Another quick find here, although the main struggle has been keeping Mrs Felix out of the bulk rubbish collection as she is looking for new caches. (in fact we had to return to pick up a few things in the car )

In company with iluvtrekking we parked at the end of the cul-de-sac but had to wait while an inquisitive neighbour drove off before we could approach gz. Luckily we made a quick find so departed before any other neighbours checked us out.

Found with richlink. Nice quick grab and we were out of there.

3rd to find after doing FelixII's Swan valley bike series.

Second FTF of the afternoon. After picking up '16' I headed down the street to grab this one and found another empty log book. SL TFTC.

Nice quick find again STF. And again no logs as I approached this cache but the same as the last one was pipped at the post. TFTC.
