Like so many of the others we had a DNF here this morning. No luck
Thanks anyway Newscat.
Thanks anyway Newscat.
As per my log, with so many DNF's if the owner could check this one it would be great.
No luck for us finding this one today.
If it's still there then we'll have to get it next time.

We are lucky enough to be travelling Australia for 2018 and geocaching is taking us to spots that we wonder what the muggles are seeing on their trips
Staying at Daly waters we have decide to cache without the caravan

Despite a thorough search did not find the cache. GPS had me amongst bare dirt and trees to young to have been there when the cache was first placed. Hint would be useful if the cache is still there thanks.
A road trip with my younger brother that I haven`` t seen for the last 6 years. Made me to do this trip. Between Yulara and Darwin we found lots of Geocache` s. It was an awesome trip that I will never forget. We have visited so many beautiful places and seen so much, love this place. Thanks for having me Australia, I certainly enjoy all the views and hidden treasures.

Had a bit of a poke around at the suggested coordinates, but come up empty handed, so unless the co ords are out or it's in a spot it shouldn't be (I'm assuming one doesn't need to climb the fence), I don't think it's here.
Detour around Australia - family of 6 travelling in a camper trailer for 6 months!!
Had a great time at Daly Waters - but no cache for us here today.

A few muggles had camped here last night !! and a few checking out the scenery!!! but with a little patience got the goods!!! Thanks Newscast..
My husband and I search for this cache a few days ago on our way to Borroloola. Unfortunately we could not find because there were way too many muggles to make a true search on the area. Today, we came back toward Darwin with our daughter and her boyfriend. We had a lot more privacy to look. We described what the cache should look like to our group. Ashley looked down at his feet and asked if it was something like this. We immediately signed the log. Then we decided to put the cache back where we thought it should go and not leave it on the ground. Thanks for giving us some Australian history along with caching.

Heading north to Darwin using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find this time round, thanks Lumpyjrb for replacing this cache.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found after attending the "Red Centre Experience" Mega Event Alice Springs Easter 2017 (from eastern Vic). Fascinating site. SL.TFTC!
Tried from every angle to see an S and discovered you can interpret a lot of things into an S if you try. Don't know for what reason he would have done it - suppose it could have been as a marker....or perhaps he was into graffiti........ TFTC Newscast.
Now travelling north towards Darwin after the Red Centre Experience.
Sad to leave but excited of what else we can see in NT.
The days are warm again, so the ugg boots are packed and we are again hanging out for the aircon.
Lots of great historic points to see before we reach Adelaide River for ANZAC day.
Log was full so we replaced it.

Found by Mary & David at 0835. How exciting to be at this cache. We give it a FP as we both love history, facts and figures. Our thanks to Newscat.
13403. Next find of Day 07 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip. Heading North.
I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.
Next stop for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and it was off to the next cache.

Alice trip 2017. Day 15. After a great time in the Red center it was time to push further north. Today took Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I from Tennant creek to Mataranka. Another light day of caching with plenty of Trigs along the way.

#6958 - 15:20; Day 17 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. We spent the night in Tennant Creek enroute to Darwin after attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs. Another quieter caching day as we headed north towards Mataranka Springs via Threeways, Elliott and Daly Waters. We were able to collect a few along the way though, including this one among the many trig points we also managed to accumulate. Picked this one up on our way in to Daly Waters. TFTC Newscat
On the road to the Alice Springs Mega with LuckyL10n and Albida33. We arrived in Alice Springs to pick up fitzy_1965 to complete our group and set about the fun of attending the event.
We spent the next 5 days caching around the region enjoying the area and finding a lot of the local caches. After the event we set our sights on Darwin and started off on the next stage of our road trip.
Managed to find another few caches and had a great time doing so.
Thanks for all the caches and the fun in grabbing them.

Found while heading back home to Darwin after our caching adventure around Australia ... T4TC:)
have looked for this one before a year or so back with no luck, but was in the area so thought we'd look again. This time it was a quick easy find. TFTC
After a long time without reception ... Finally. On our long trip to Western Australia Enjoyed the time between Cloncurry via Burketown to Borroloola and Daly Waters. Tftc
Travelling with bikesu . On the way to Broome. Grabbing some smilies along the way ..... mostly without reception. Tftc
An interesting place that we stopped by to take a photo while having a quick drive around here. Thanks for the really tiny (and cute) cache
Stuart's expedition was concurrent with Burke & Wills, but his tree has fared far worse with the passage of time. Bit of a shame as his was a success & theirs was an unmitigated disaster from the start. Thanks for bringing us to an almost forgotten historic spot Newscat.
Hmmmm, found the cache but the S on the tree remains a mystery. Enjoyed the walk from the pub along the river with all the kangaroos. The walk back passes lots of toilet paper. Ugh.
I had to dally here until other tourists had left, and then it was a quick find. I needed to return to the car for a tool to extract the cache with. TFTC Newscat.
On our way to the Dlay Waters Pup we stopped for this one and found it after a short search. TFTC
TFTC. Camped at the Daly Waters Pub. After a long drive from Threeways went out tostretch my legs following the heritage trail. At GZ ran into some of our Khloe travelling companions. Geof located the container. Sneaky location.
1 not found today and 803 overall.
No luck here today but there were another couple around so maybe it was discretion more than cache blindness.

We checked this cache while on a maintenance run for our own caches. The cache was missing thus the DNFs. We replaced it so its all good to go.
We were too hot and hungry to attempt this one - fingers crossed its still there
I was scared off by the recent DNFs and did not search much. It certainly was not on the tree, railing or sign. So I will be watching this listing for future finders who spend more time. Don't give up! Prove it to be there or prove it missing!
We couldn’t do this one because a few muggles had decided to camp at this place.
I looked and looked and looked but every little hidey hole was empty. Second DNF this trip.
While staying at Daly Waters Caravan Park for a couple
of days, we decided to do the Tourist Walk. Lots of Kangaroos
and birds and we especially liked the Red Tailed Black Cockatoos.
It would have been hard living out here all those years ago.
Found, signed and replaced the cache.
Thanks Newscat

Found this cache during the trip to Darwin as preparation for the World Solar Challenge 2015. TFTC!
Leaving Daly Waters this morning, we drove down to the tree. Only one lone camper here, so it was nice to explore and of course to find the cache. Sneaky!!
On our way southbound we made a little stopover to stretch and find the cache!
Thanks for showing us the historical location.

Geowife was on to this one pretty quick. A wallaby went skooting into the bushes. We can't pick up the 'S' on the tree but I guess it's worn away with time or we're not imaginative enough. Great history here. Now for Happy Hour at the pub. TFTC. SL.
Ha ha one of the kids found it before we even knew there was one here. TFTC
Found on the way from Alice Spring to Darwin.
