Heading home after a few days camping in Dwellingup. My drive back is also an opportunity to make a dent in the SWH caches along this stretch - happily another 10 were turned yellow, along with a few extras along the way This was one that I stopped off at. Easy to pull over here and make a very fast find. Interestingly I had found one of Varuna's old caches out at Whittaker's Mill just yesterday! No problems here today - TFTC
Another SWH cache found & logged.
Lucky us a decent break in the traffic to be able to cross the highway TFTF

The hall is creaping up today. Geoleaprs is doing a great navigating job. With Mr Walker also on hand if needed. SL R&R.
Driving past and stopped in the hope of changing Dot colours. So it was. Thanks Everlasting as it enabled a bit of CITO as well. All good here
Today both TaurusSix and I had the day off work with the intention of geocache meandering our way up to the International Geocaching Day weekend of events in Lower Chittering. We hummed and arrhhed about which route we would take . However , before we went to bed last night we realised a heap of new caches had come out in the Pinjarra area, however we also soon realised they were being collected so alas not to be. So we were very surprised when we woke up this morning to find that there was still three of the new caches that had not been found and therefore the potential of three FTF still to get. That was it we decided that was our first waypoint of the day would be the Old Bunbury Road to Pinjarra. The weather forecast said fine so we were hopeful. However as seems to be the normal at the moment we left the house as it was raining. As we were driving up the highway the sky became more patchy and then started to clear. Wow there is so much water on the sides of the road though would not want to get bogged. The roads were reasonable quiet early on which always assists with the search for geocaches.
After Pinjarra we continued heading north to our final destination collecting a few more geocaches here and there along the way
This is our eleventh cache find of the day . The road was quite busy and it had started drizzling again. They are nice big pull over areas at the side of the road though so all good . A nice quick find, log and replace. TFTC Everlasting.

Nice lil stop on the way back from fairbridge. Although the lid was on tight this cache is very damp inside as was the log. Was still able to sign - Thanks for adding another smilie to my day
A quick find with Rainbow Scjaz whilst the kids are at a Halloween disco nearby. Tftc
Out on a caching run today, down to Pinjarra, first day of annual leave so of course have to put it to good use! Nice quick find on this one, on our drive home. Slowly closing in on completing the Hidden Creatures challenge. TFTC
Today I was in Pinjarra for a bike race, and after the race (and some recovery) I stayed around to find a few caches on the way home. It was a stinking hot day, the car was showing over 41 degrees.
I really like the SWH series, and was happy to make a quick and easy find here!
Thanks for the cache Everlasting!

A several months ago, I browned the list of caches down that I haven't found after motor accident. The name of Varuna of the cache that has caught my eye which it has been planted by Everlasting without my knowledge. I feel very humble and thank to Everlasting for it. Finally I came and found it late last night while I was on the way home.
Day Eleven of our holiday in Western Oz.
Bettyboo3747 and I have spent the morning on the South West Highway between Jarrahdale and Pinjarra, and the afternoon trying to find a cache that still exists on the way back to Rockingham.
As we walked across the road to the cache, the black cockies in the tree above started up - very noisy.
I assumed they were telling us where the cache was, if only we could talk cockie!
(at least they didn't drop gum nuts on our heads!)
Thanks, Robmc.

#12707. Day 11 of our WA holiday and our 6th day based in Rockingham. Robmc and I decided to tackle the SWH Series between Jarrahdale and Pinjarra. We managed a nice run of 44 caches before lunch and then the wheels fell off somewhat as we made our way home via Mandurah. So many caches were not viable so we didn't feel like wasting time searching. It was hard to find some caches that were still in play.
Another cache found as we make our way to Pinjarra for lunch. I was happy to see the beautiful black cockatoos in the trees here.
Thanks Everlasting

Thank you! I decided to head down to Pinjarra for lunch and head home via the south west highway. Happy to make the find here.
Found this afternoon, the log is slightly damp but the container seemed dry enough with no condensation or anything to wipe out. TFTC!
Out and about bright and early grabbing some SWH caches. Thanks to the COs that have placed and maintain these for our caching pleasure.
TFTC Everlasting this is find # 2441 for us.

Coming home from A short trip at Burekup and we decided to drop in and find this cool cache.
Everlasting, we found your geocache "SWH...Veruna" around 3:50pm on the 12th of April 2017. When we found your cache it was in a good condition and replaced it as found.
That brings us to 148 finds now!

This was our third full day of caching from our base at Mandurah, a number of the caches we found, belonging to cache series, which seem to be a feature of this part of WA. Others highlighted the history of the locality, all of them taking us to locations we have not previously seen.
Thanks Everlasting for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Hi there Everlasting.
We found your cache **"SWH...Varuna"** at 12:13:00 PM today. This cache makes our find count 14866.
Our plan for the day was to complete some of the SWH series, together with a few others that were also close to the highway. We thoroughly enjoyed our drive attempting caches to the left on our way north and picking up the ones we missed on the return trip. We found a variety of container types and sizes hidden along the way, and also managed to pick up a couple of trackables.
Today we found 35 caches & DNF'd 3. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge if the container was large enough.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! The caches I am logging in this batch were ones I found during WA Goes Big 2016. In an interest to get completely caught up, I am logging my past finds in bulk. I still have work to do after this, as I need to locate my notes from all of my earthcaches, but once those are in, I should be very close to current. I appreciate all the effort you go through to create and place your hides and do not for one second take it for granted, I just need to get caught up so I can return to my once pleasant logs. Cheers!
Another prolific member of the caching community and a name I see around quite a bit. I knew this tribute would be from another huge member of the deaf caching community...
Container was a nice quick find and I was in and out in a couple of minutes after adding my name to the log.
Thanks for the cache Everlasting.

The WA Goes Big 2016 event provided the perfect excuse for me to pack up the wife and travel across to get some caches in WA. I have previously cached WA in 2008 (Perth to Geraldton and back) and 2011 (Kunninara) so it was great to head south from Perth this time.
This series was close to where we stayed during the WA goes big event at Pinjarra.
It was great to have such a great range of quality caches close to the event. TFTC.

Found by Mary & David, in convoy with The Coffees, at 0955. We met Varuna and Everlasting over coffee last time we were in Perth, back in 2007. We wrote pages to each other. We gather from Everlasting the Varuna has moved away fro caching these days. Our thanks to Everlasting.
Out today finding these caches around the event site. We are having a great time and the weather has been good.

Stopped by and grabbed this one after the WWFM event whist in the area for WAGB. In preparation for this afternoon's CITO event I cleaned up this bit of the highway on the way back to Fairbridge. TFTC Everlasting

Found on a fun day caching with Micaparamedic and Ahomburg. We found almost all caches including a couple that had not been found for a while, and a couple of clever hides.
Catching up with some late logs, therefore this unfortunately is going to be one of 'those logs'. I apologize in advance for the generic log, A combination of limited time and too many to log dictates that a generic log is best. I have enjoyed the hunt and being outdoors in this great country of ours, partaking in a pastime that I thoroughly enjoy. I usually head out by myself, but I thank those that have had the misfortune of my company in some of these ventures.
Thanks Everlasting for placing this cache.
