The Cut n Paste bit: Today I set out to find 25+ caches with different D/T combinations, to qualify for "The Unique Difficulty/Terrain Challenge" (https://coord.info/GC54RAX) and I'm pretty sure I was successful with 26 different combos, a few extra caches, and only 3 DNFs for the day.
Notes on this cache: I'm pretty sure I came here years ago looking for this cache but was muggled out. Happy to visit a second time in any case. This time it was a pretty quick find with few passer by and various hints from others (which I'm quite happy to take advantage of given that this is a D1). I couldn't sign the paper mache log but did sign a newer piece of paper that someone had added. TFTC!

It was simple to find this one using a photo from a previous log, as well as some help from other geocachers who walked by while I was looking. The log isn't easy to write on, due to water damage. TFTC!
Find number 4731.
Cache is possible not where it should be when looking at the hint. And is desperately needing replacement as the lid is broken off and the log has been all but destroyed.
Thanks jonignite for placing this cache

TFTC. Lovely walk round the lake. Plenty of muggles, but managed to find it. Cheers.
Found however the lid was off and the booklet completely wet and ruined. Didn't have anything to replace with. Needs a new book
Heading north from the Clearwaters Mega at Queanbeyan. Camping at the very peaceful Belmont Lakeside van park. Driving the old forgotten highway that we travelled on decades ago. Enjoying the sites of Lake Macquarie. Logs signed Coongoola or CG.

Found with TeamKershaw - we know this boardwalk well as we live local to here. Have walked if before but as we weren't geocachers then, didn't realise there were hidden secrets! Didn't understand the hint till we were at the spot, then it all became clear! Very clever! TFTC
Having found its other partner, this one didn’t take long to find, although like other cachers have mentioned, the lid is compromised on this one. Cache seems to be dry enough. Thank you for taking us on this lovely little walk down the lakeside!
Time for some Dippin’ Dots!
Found on a quick little romp down Lake Macquarie on the weekend!

Quick find with Lilmissy88, cache needs replacing as lid is not secure. I didn't bring my kit bag with me so couldnt replace it for the owner. Did sign the best i could and placed back where found. TFTC
I was up in Toronto for the weekend so a trip round to Warner's Bay & a few caches on a pretty warm morning. Good hint, which I'm thankful for as the GPS wouldn't close in to more than 5m & I was starting to get sunburnt. TFTC
On Saturday we had travelled up from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Redhead, for a short weekend getaway, staying at the Redhead Beach Holiday Park in Redhead. On Sunday we attended the Geocaching NSW “Newcastle Expedition - Memorial Park” Event at Stockton, then zigzagged our way back down to Redhead finding 7 unique cache types (Event, Traditional, Multi, Mystery, Letterbox, Virtual, and EarthCache) on that same day, as well as gathering numerous other conveniently located caches along the route. Today we are returning to Sydney, but will attempt to complete the Mt Hutton cache series, and also collect a few roadside “park & grab” caches along the way. This was the 13th of 16 finds for the day (day #3), and the 49th of 52 finds for the weekend.
After having completed the Mt Hutton cache series we drove down to the lake, stopping off here at the "Billion Dollar Boardwalk" for a cachey stroll. Arrived at this one first, and made a nice quick find in a logical spot. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC jonignite.

Looked at thesame place as no2 but couldn't find it.maybe next time. Nice spot though.
We set up camp and were well positioned so we could head out and do some caching. We teamed up with the Snakepiters and enjoyed finding this cache in a locality which is so scenic. Thanks to jonignite for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
After finishing the nearby Mt Hutton series came past here to enjoy the cool breeze and pickup 3 more on the broadwalk.

Found it today together with my daughter Kim. Thanks for the cache
Best regards, Kim(Newcastle) and Rolf (Herford, Germany).

Came down from Whitebridge for a stroll along the foreshore and coffee at one of the local cafes. I'm on my own, so some geocaching might be the go!
I do like the boardwalk; I've done it many times. Geoaching makes you take notice, however. I'd never noticed before that there is poetry inscribed on the handrails.
Thanks for the cache, jonignite.

Log torn to shreds NEEDS new log. It was placed on the walk its self and was in plain view so moved it to where coordinates indicated.
