This was a easy find but reading the plaque we were amused that the Presbyterian church had its first meetings in the local Pub TFTC

Came for a drive to the Mount from Beachport and ended up at Port Mac and Nelson as well on a lovely day. 
Had stopped in Nelson to have lunch then had a bit of a drive and collected a few caches along the way. [^]

Found easily with Liz and Bruce on a good day for caching. I was surprised at how quickly we managed to get in and log this cache and then move on. But then we have done it a few times.
We ventured to Nelson this morning with Alansee to do some of the caches which we knew we would enjoy in this scenic location and we were not disappointed. We encountered emus and kangaroos on the forest tracks but luckily not too close up 
We found a variety of hides and thanks to jgc3 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

Walked to this one after finding "The Adventures of Jay & Kay" cache. I guess from the look of the old church that there isn't too much interest anymore or perhaps it's just that there aren't that many parishoners flocking to the church(es) anymore and it's tired look is a reflection of that.
Anyway, we found the cache so it's off to the next one.

Late afternoon arrival on our way to Mt Gambier. Nice little church. Quick find. SL and we'll look for some more in Nelson before we get on our way. TFTC
found after The Surf Coast Event 2016 mega event. Slowly caching back to SA. looked in the church grounds then read hint and found a cache
Staying in Nelson for a few nights with Sean.75, kenbryl and kenare to do a bit of sightseeing and caching. Tftc
After a walk up the hill looking at all the Roos and rabbits over on the hills we soon found this cache. Tftc
Our last day at Mount Gambier, before heading east, to catch up with muggle friends.
After lunch, we drove south to Nelson for some sightseeing and caching.
Lots of nice country to drive through, and we found a good variety of hides.
Cache was located after a short search, signed and replaced as found.

Found this one today as part of a massive day trip from Warrnambool to Mt Gambier return trip. This was my Nelson cache and it was a quick find today. Signed log and admired the church from afar.

We had an overnight stop at Nelson so headed out to find as many of the BLE as possible. This gave us a small tiki our of the town.

A mob of kangaroos crossed the road just as we were pulling up to look for this one. TFTC
635th Cache Find We had just been fishing down on the edge of the water in Nelson. Kids had an absolute ball, was our first fishing experience as a family. Geodad was off work for a few days. We decided that while we were here we would go for a drive & grab a few cachers. Quick & easy find. TFTC

DSuch a lovely old church, have been to Nelson plenty of times and never seen it. TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1055. A pretty little church that is at least still active. We could imagine the happiness here with a wedding or baptism, or the sadness of a funeral. Found the cache fairly quickly. Our thanks to jgc3.
