Spent about an hour before seeing the note about the cache missing. Will look forward to returning.
Cache has been taken. Will replace as soon as I can get a quiet moment without muggles there. This spot seems to have more traffic now.
After getting to GZ needed to get the feet wet, nearly at Running Man status but still no luck locating container. Looking a previous logs it may have eventually broken off.
Found with Beary_Unicorns on a sunny Sunday morning, a beautiful day for geocaching in a beautiful part of the world. Visited TBs, tftc
Found it on 15/10/2015 with mr roo, I visited this back 2015 under a different name, kamfindit and now I have a new name...

Beautiful 26 degree winters day, muggles cleared away briefly to allow a quick look, it was hiding in plain sight. TFTC
Still trying to replace wet log. I’ve had 3 different muggle interfaces and 2 big tides. I haven’t forgotten.
Needs some attention the log was soaked and unable to be read. Put in a new sheet.maybe it needs stoppers.
We decided to go for a drive even though it was raining. i checked before we left that is was low tide so i wouldn't get as wet retrieving this. We arrived and there were a few people about after the ANZAC day services but most were leaving. so i hopped out of the car and went for the find. Having looked and found the remains of this one years ago i knew exactly where it was. found it again quickly today but couldn't sign the log as it was soaking wet. i think i managed to scratch an O on the paper. TFTC
While still staying at Morisset we travelled around the area with whitewebbs collecting a few caches and this was one of them.
A nice spot to visit, muggles swimming on a warm day. An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out and about caching in the area with Tassie Trekkers after attending the OzGeoMuster over Easter in Morisset and this was one we found. We located the cache and made the retrieval. Unfortunately the log is wet and will need replacing. What a beautiful beach. TFTC
found it with pwala, dranyer, everlasting, sevabo and skyejam

Found it with Crank1, Everlasting, Dranyer, skyejam & sevabo during "OZ Geo Muster 2018" at Morisset.
It has been pleasure to meet people here.
Logged as Deaf Group.
After this, we went to Mega event, saw the fireworks.
Thanks Team Wangi for bringing us here.

OCW the Bebes, Brewmaker, Everest High and Max Adventurer. After locating the area Brew got his feet wet and took one for the team and after a short search had the Cache in hand. Nice spot but quite a few muggles on this long weekend so had to be stealthy!
My partner got his feet wet for this one I got to 'supervise' and share the smiley afterwards ;p TFTC
Out caching with a formed Trans Trasman Team which included; dghoffy, Granville68a, yorkshirekiwi83, Dakocats and WhiskersNZ, we signed as TTT.
It was a great time to explore the area during the OZ Geomuster 2018 and find some caches. Really enjoyed the experience of caching in a new part of the world with some new as well as old friends.

Teamed up again as Trans Tasman Team which included dghoffy, Natalie247 and Granville68a, we signed as TTT. Today we were taking it a little easier as we wanted to achieve some of the things happening onsite as well.
Thanks to all the owners of the caches in the GeoMuster region, I had a fabulous time and thank you for your careful maintenance and placements of the caches. TFTC
Ended up having a paddle after seeing a photo in a previous log, then had it in hand.

Log forthcoming - in the meantime, the line’s a bit weathered, and so does the log. Whatever assembly this had tethering itself down is no longer there. Would recommend a cache check, if only to make sure the log doesn’t get completely soggy.

Found with the trans Tasman team while in morisset. For the mega event. Thanks for the hide.
Headed out with our NZ felow cachers for day 3 of our cache run during the geomuster. Signing as trans tasman team TTT. This one helped cool us off. tftc
Very grateful to cold pizza for helping out 4 geriatrics. It turns out that his partner is supersleuthSonya who I gave a helping hand to in WA. What goes around, comes around. TFTC
Happy Easter and Happy April’s fool! Today is a lovely sunny day but (may be hot and humid?) nice and easy find with 6 of us Deaf group.

Took one look where we suspected it would be and there it was. Our shoes are now completely drenched but we found the cache and signed the log. TFTC!
Wet feet. Sadly rolled my pants up due to chance of being caught pants down, don’t know if the holding thingy will survive all the visits over the mega weekend . Tftc tnln
Definitely a favourite for me this evening. TFTC Geo hubby was more than happy to get his feet wet.
Walked down to the area from just around the bend, and while the GZ itself was easy to access, the cache itself was not. The tide somewhat up, Barrelledover took to wading to the location and grabbing the (at this point) soggy cache. We signed quickly, and the cache was returned with another quick wade. See as well the maintenance request for current issues with this cache. With feet dry once again, we were back on the road and caching.
Found with Barrelledover!

Got my feet wet with this one. Not as I think it should be set up, may need attention

Arrived at GZ with Geotooter and soon realised where I needed to go. I made sure I didn't have anything electronic in my pockets before going in for the retrieval. Found it balancing on only one support. The rest have rusted with the salty environment. A nice hide. Well done Team Wangi.

Today was sign in day. After doing a wherigo and registering it was time to explore the lake and various geocaches.
Thank goodness JDScout was keen for a swim. He grovelled around and found the cache.

Being Good Friday the place was very busy. Mr Shifter looked for this one initially while Mrs Shifter walked along the fore shore from the nearby caches. He didn't want to get his feet wet so waited for Mrs Shifter to arrive and she was willing to get her feet wet. The supports for the container are just about worn through and the cache is balancing only on one.
Thanks for the hide Team Wangi.

Attending the Oz Geomuster at Morisset. Thank you for placing this cache.
Got a wet bum and no fish but was able to sign my name to the log.Having a caching day while NON geocaching wife is away.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
With the weather a bit cold it was the perfect time for this one with minimal muggles about. TFTC
This cache is still here. Only the cork is missing. It has been a little scratched up. And yes, the fishing line is an attempt at persuading muggles into thinking it's old and not worth a look.
This geocacher reported that the container is damaged. Just guessing that cache had caps both ends. Now there is only one cap so may need maintenance to keep dry.

Another challenging cache from Team Wangi. Spotted the cache after a few minutes...now retrieval...pants rolled up past the knees...water temperature good...in we go! had to kneel to retrieve but all good! One end was open so not sure if the cap has gone. May need to be checked to ensure log stays dry in future. SL TFTC Team Wangi

Another afternoon caching in Wangi and surrounds. The weather was really as good as it gets anywhere - 24 deg and a clear blue sky. This area delivers on views and lovely foreshore reserves and parks, we've left a few for a return trip!
I won't forget this one in a hurry.... I hadn't read the description thoroughly, so when we got to GZ we searched the wrong area. Then I followed the GPS a bit, realising where it must be. Leaning down to take a look I slipped on the edge, and ended up with two hiking boots full of water. They are waterproof, so the water never drains out.... At this stage what the hell, in I sloshed, and the cache was ours. It was a little damp, but pretty good. TFTC Team Wangi

So this is Christmas...
Hello once again team wangi
A short stroll from my rellies in the other direction leads me here.
No rocks to get up to mischief on. A toadfish in the very clear water amuses us for a moment. From a good vantage point I see what it is I am looking for. A quick look back and forth and left and right... I go and get what I want. Now I don't know if you've been caching out my way, but some caches struggle to keep a dry log book and they aren't within a mile of a body of water, and here we are up to my knees in a lake and unrolling a logbook as dry as dry can be. Nice job. As I sign a couple approach, having a loud conversation on a mobile. Mrs Muggle goes to have a drink from a fountain and jumps and squirms when some creature or other emerges. They stand right in the muggle zone and chat to someone on their mobile. I wait. They chat. I wait. They move a bit and are facing away so I carefully replace the cache and put my shoes on. I note the irony that my feet were dry at the cache called "get your feet wet" yesterday, and not so dry today. We walk back and enjoy a Christmas lunch and Christmas presents and Christmas games and Christmas everything else. I watched her maj, address the nation, and commonwealth. I sat and pulled apart the first battery powered toy of the day to break - didn't fix it ... yet.
Now I know you'll want an upchuck update - one child left to fully recover but well on the way. It is not the best time to have all the children two to a bed, and a little mishap overnight reinforced that maxim. Nothing a little detergent couldn't fix though.
I have checked out your listings - I may see you again before we leave . Till then, merry Christmas!

A quick find once the fish folk stopped cleaning their boats - a simple but clever hide and get a favourite from me TFTC
When I got here it was almost high tide and I thought I would have to leave it for another day but then I checked one last spot as we were leaving and found it. I questioned if it was actually the cache for a moment. TFTC
Today I ventured to the north end of Lake Macquarie and then down the western side.
Nope. I had a few ideas what it might be but ... NOPE.
I think I am suffering from cache blindness here.
I am supposed to be getting better at this game. lol

This week's geo-outing with Mumma-Kel took us north to Lake Macquarie. We didn't have a specific target cache in mind when we set off, but while we drove up the M1, Kel noticed there were some good pickings to be had on Wangi headland ... so that's where headed.
We did this one at close to high tide so we had to get out feet and a bit more wet in order to find this cache ... not that we minded since it was pretty warm today. After a bit of a search, we found the container but unfortunately, we couldn't retrieve the log book, even with the use of tweezers and other extraction tools, because the plastic bag holding it had been pushed too far in. Looks like the CO will have to make a visit! Mumma-Kel has taken a photo of the cache, if required as evidence of our find. Thanks for placing this cache Team Wangi ... it's one of the better ones of its type that I've seen.

Exploring the Wangi Wangi area with Opa-Shrek today, guided for the most part by Team Wangi caches...
We came upon this one, and despite the incoming tide I was pleased to slip off the things and wet my feet a little.... After a short poke about, I spotted something worth more investigation, so waddled my way closer to it... Working out quickly this was what I wanted I tried to retrieve the log but my fingers came up short... Opa-Shrek fetched a TOTT or 3 from the geo-Mazda, but those too were unsuitable for this retrieval, of a log that seemed to be pushed in way too far - I could see there used to be a method to the retrieval, but this method was seemingly an impossible task today....while down there the incoming tide reached my squatting but level, so I got a little more refreshed than I anticipated too!
With no other option to claim a smiley, I took a photo of the cache to fwd to the CO and told myself it was a case of Ce la vie.
Thanks for the fun, and for the cache Team Wangi.
