My wife and I had great day exploring the everglades. She saw several birds that she was able to add to her life list. And I was able to find a total of 13 caches, both in and out of the park.
An interesting spot, but for some reason I had to spend a few minutes looking before I made the find.
Thanks for the fun!

I drove into the Everglades National Park today to take advantage of the park pass purchased a few days ago and to find some caches. This was my first stop. Fortunately there were very few rocks to look under and I quickly located the cache! SL Thanks EvergladesNPS!

Blood, sweat, and almost tears could not bring success. Actually tried this one first. Got eaten by mosquitoes and stepped over a snake skin. Not sure what we did wrong??

This regular is kind of small. At least I finally found it. Thanks for the cache.

It is a very nice to have some actual geocaches in the park. Thanks for maintaining these! We enjoyed our time here and saw plenty of birds and alligators. TFTC! Tricky one...found it about 23 Ft west of GZ.

So we made all the way down to Flamingo. Here are the destructions of Irma visible.
Unfortunately I got for the first time this year stung by a mosquito.
Thanks to the Park Administration allowing these caches ( even when Flamingo merits a nicer cache than this one - but I can imagine at the moment are other things more important)!
