I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Previous logs say someone took it upon themselves to move this one . . . . Will wait til CO sorts
Found plenty of excellent hiding spots (many of the end blocks move! ) but none yielded what I was looking for
Maybe next time?

Second attempt still no find but I'm not too disheartened as it's not only dark but I'm also a newbie hahaha as I drove away I noticed a little spot that I may be so here's hoping third times the charm

Out on a caching adventure with tikitour and riser5 to get 100 geocaches for the hidden creature souvenirs. Logging at T18. TFTC
Don't want to be getting too close to that stuff. I think a slight move was the right call.

4/100 almost quickly found but looking on something wrong was found. Moved to a secure location and emailed CO.
Out for a days caching with Remaker13 and Riser5 - logging as T18. Nice sneaky cache well cammod - I made the find after everyone was looking for some time TFTC
Had an urgent call for advice from son on the weekend about a car he was looking at in Silverdale, which he wanted to purchase. Father's advice to pass on it was ignored however, so today it was a quick visit on a pickup run. His excuse for getting me to drive him down, was that at least I could get some more caches toward the hidden creatures souvenirs, which is one thing I was happy about.
I was actually intending to do the boulder earthcache, but near this one was the closest parking I could find, so decided to do this one first. After initially dismissing the first place I considered and then wasting some time on the wrong level, I came back for a second look and then spotted the sneaky wee cache that blended in so well. Signed log and replaced back where found. TFTC

We initially went to the wrong item instead of following our gps, then once we were on the right level we found the sneaky cache
Decided to head out with Mrs NZ Travellers, cragger, laval and NZIceman to find the Northernmost Auckland cache (and some others of course) as we are working on a challenge cache for our D/T grid.
After some breakfast in the area we decided it would be rude not to quickly find these caches. I was on the wrong level for this one but Mrs NZT and laval were in the correct spot but overlooked it. I walked up and said 'there it is'.
Thanks for the cache.

On a caching mission with Ketlev, Laval, Cragger and NZIceman up north today. We had a target cache near Mangawhai Heads to collect for a specific challenge so thought we would start early, attend the nearby breakfast event and then head north. After breakfast and a much needed caffeine hit, we decided to grab this and a couple of nearby caches before hitting the road. We approached from the upper level but soon found the spot we needed to be in, Keylev's sharp eyes found this one and we were onto the next cache. TFTC!
Mum had a bit of spare time between jobs, and when she got to this cache, there was a wee break in the rain too... She was pleased she spotted this one quickly before the next lot of showers started.
Getting my Geocache of the day whilst Bets goes off in the shopping centre to pic up a few bits. I was a few metres from GZ until I noticed the title again. Thanks!
The idea for today was to have a first look for New Zealand beaches and natural treasures in the forests near the sea shores north from Auckland. It was the most exciting Christmas Day in our live. And different then usually. We could rest at clean, natural and in many areas untouched environment. Firstly we noticed ferns everywhere, not only these famous silver ferns but also unique pongas - they are amazing. We have seen them once - in Europe, Portugal - which is probably the only place with them on the northern hemisphere. But they are not so impressive as the ones here. We are really glad to have a chance to see them
We noticed also that the AOTEAROA is really appropriate name for this country when long white were always visible on the sky
Extensive volcano activities also made a significant impact on this area layout.
At the end of the day we met with other geocachers who came for holidays from southern island. It was nice to talk and spend som time with them.
The last but not least is that we could see all above on relatively small area having fun of celebrating in very unique way Christmas Day.
Thank you for this cache and greetins from Krakow, Poland!

The Christmas day was the first day of caching in New Zealand for me and Lady Murazor. After over 50 hours of traveling we reached Auckland yesterday on the Christmas Eve, but we were too tired to even look for a cache. So we started today. The hunt was mainly after rarer types of geocaches like letterboxes or Earth Caches but a few of traditional ones were also scored. And along the way there was many possibilities to admire the unique nature of New Zealand.
A tricky one but it did not mislead us.
No trade.

We were in the area and had collected a puzzle series nearby, and thought we would grab a few more on our way home. A nice quick find here with purply and darthcacher1.

I was looking topside for a few minutes before moving to the right area. I looked around a bit before I spotted something that shouldn't be there. TFTC.
Found a few nights ago, with several back and fourths in the dark. We Ignored the cache at first glance with fear of being zapped to death but later did some fiddling and discovered it was indeed what we were looking for!
There wasn't much parking so we parked in the Lawyers clients only park. Figured it was Saturday - what Lawyers work on Saturday? Hopefully not these ones. Walked over to gz to see a clever hide. I'm really enjoying the different hides we've seen over the last few days in Auckland, thanks

Hehe, I can see why there are a couple on DNFs on this one - very smart hide. I actually found a similar one yesterday but this is a bit harder to spot than that one. Blends in really well, also.
Thanks for the cache!

Spent a while wandering back and forth. Didn't see what I was looking for unfortunately. Thanks
I discovered, to my dismay, that my car battery was well and truly flat this morning. After getting some help to get it started I was left with the task of driving around to recharge the battery. Well, nothing for it but a long drive up the motorway followed by some park and grabs to get things make in full working order. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it!
With the battery recharged and the tank all gased up it was time to tackle something other than park and grabs. After working on the nearby earth cache I made the short stroll across to GZ. Well, actually I wasn't sure if GZ was on the upper level or the lower. Of course I started on the wrong level before moving to the correct one. Found the cache after that...but wasn't sure about it, so expanded my search area. In the end I used the PAF option who confirmed I had had the thing in hand much earlier. Quick completion of the formalities after that. Cheers for the hide!

Well, todays weather forecast was for rain, all day, and they got it right. Very right indeed. I don't know about a cache mobile, today a waka would have been more fitting or even an ark. Got enough piggies and puppies to exceed the two by two rule too.
Target for today was a couple of letterboxes, a few unique Southern minutes of degrees for a challenge cache I'm creeping ever closer to achieving and anything else that I decided to stop in the pouring rain to try and write and get every single drop of rain down my neck.
Onto the main business of the day. Head along the linking road up to Kaipara Road then back down SH1 via Warkworth and some other places.
After visiting the nearby boulders seemed rude not to do this nearby trad cache

Our 2nd visit to this spot. Our previous was an unlogged DNF. Cache was on our watch list and with the recent run of successful finds we decided it was time to revisit. Took a little looking but eventually little Kiwiscot spied the clever hide. TFTC
Apologies for the very late and cut and paste log - I have been AWOL for a long while.
Found as part of the crazy crew that were up from Hamilton for the day with the specific objective of finding as many D/T combinations as possible.
Had a huge amount of fun and appreciated the huge effort put in by the cache owners in placing and maintaining their caches.
Many thanks

Out on a caching raid north of the Bombay hills with Cats&Dragons, HKCB, iammrwalker, Kiwi69, Zorgon and 11hpg11 on a 40 D/T mission for the day.
Not on the list of one to find, but nearby so a find was made

I found this cache as a member of a group of the Hamilton Geocaching Overachievers Club. We signed the logs using an anachronism made up from our Geocaching handles MCHIKZ1 (McClutchan Clan, Cats&Dragons, HKCB, iammrwalker, Kiwi69, Zorgon and 11hpg11) to save on log space and time. We were on another mad mission devised by C&D to find 40 different DT ratings in one day. We left Hamilton at 5:30am and returned at 9:30pm tired, scared but most importantly successful.
Really nice, cleaver and effective camo on this cache-but not good enough for 11hpg11 who spotted it quickly.

On yet another memorable and fun-filled day-long caching mission around Auckland with McCutchanClan, HKCB, IamMrWalker Cats&Dragons, Zorgon and 11hpg11, aiming to find as many different D/T combinations as possible before caching exhaustion takes over. A whole heap of fun and, for once on our missions, the bonus of surprisingly little blood spilled along the way!
We were nearby for the earth cache & meant to be focussed but it's soooooo hard to walk by another nice little cache that's only a few metres away. Thankfully a quick find, sign & replace. Signed the log as McHIKZ1 to save log-book space, thanks for a cool placement, TFTC

A small mission a long time in the making. Caching in Auckland to try and get as many different D/T combos as we could in a day. We signed the logs as MCHIKZ1 to save room, an acronym for our team consisting of: McCutchan Cache Clan, Cats&Dragons, HKCB, Iammrwalker, Kiwis69, Zorgon and myself. An early start, a lot of kms traveled and a whole lot of laughs in-between. I think we all had a great time seeing a variety of different cache types and styles
Here for the earthcache but how could we pass up a few easy trads being so close! Liked the camo on this one, very effective would not have looked twice at it if I were a muggle, but caching eyes made it stand out. TFTC

Out in Auckland today with the main goal of finding as many different D/T combos as possible. This trip has been a few weeks in the making with a lot of planning, and puzzle solving going into it. Together with McCutchan Cache Clan, Cats&Dragons, myself (HKCB), Iammrwalker, Kiwis69, Zorgon and 11HPG11, we managed to get quite a few, 41 to be exact! An early start was needed and around 15 hours later we made it back home, mission accomplished. Although some of us did want to continue on, most of us needed to get back to the muggles in our lives before we got into serious trouble. We signed the logs as MC HIKZ1 to save room, an acronym for our team.
Quick find here after gathering the answers for the nearby Earthcache. Couldn't pass up a couple of extra finds that were so close.

Finally found this one! very neat cache container, it blended into the 'environment' well
I had a look all around it but then went straight to it. Nice hide. TFTC.

That was a nice bit of camo! I too thought twice of touching it in case I got a shock!
Would have looked for this one as well while at he pools, but there was a small rubbish truck with driver in side, parked at GZ, so had to give it a miss.
Not seen this exact type of camo before. Brushed it off GZ with my hand before realising it was the cache. Nicely done, TFTC!
Well hidden-saw some folk getting into a car just as I was at gz.
Loved the disguise.

Wow this is a very clever camo cache container ! Have never seen one exactly like this ! A fave !
Found in the company of troobloo and skullracing. We had stopped here for the earthcache and then saw this little beauty! It was troobloo that found the clever cache even though he wasn't quite sure at first. I think our timing was perfect as there was no muggles hanging around, however we could see how difficult this one could be at certain times of the day! Thanks for the fun and the hunt TheWonderStuff!!
Coruze and Skullracing and I pulled in here to do 2 caches, this and the earth nearby.
Must have picked the perfect time as it was almost muggle free, lucky us.
Looking, looking, spread a bit wider and bingo the container was located.
Good hide and the effort is appreciated. Made it interesting.

#4796 We had spent most of the afternoon completing the 66 caches - it had been our biggest day in quite some time and we were looking forward to heading to our accommodation and cracking open some well earned lemonades. There was still some caching to be done on our return journey however & this was our first. It was after 6.30pm when we arrived and there were still some muggle activity however it was relatively quite. Once we were at the correct level the well camo'd cache was soon in hand & found to be in good condition. A very nicely themed cache and well positioned, our thanks to TheWonderStuff for the fun. Cheers [^]
Very clever camo. Even when I'd found it I didn't realise immediately. NINO TFTC
This one had us going for a while but changed tack & made the find-haven't seen a container like this before-tftc
Can't believe we didn't see this last time, co-ords were way out last time. Found immediately this time, tftc
This one had us scratching our heads for a while. It turned out the gps was a little way off. We were about to give up, then went looking further afield and came up trumps. Well done on the camo. TFTC.
Thought it should be on one of these but took a wee while to figure out which one wasa got this one
Back in Silverdale to pick up the caches we missed last time. Clever hide for this one! TFTC!
Up in the Silverdale area so decided to get some more of the caches up here.
Cool camo

Out in silverdale to clean up ones missed from last time. Really liked the cammo on this one.. tftc
It was just on dark when we arrived at GZ. Just started our search when a security guard was doing his rounds. Once he had moved on we resumed our search and soon had the cache in hand. We hadn't realised the size of the sports facility that has been built here. TFTC.
8.50am - Up in Orewa for a few days so thought I'd get a bit of caching in with my sister. Quick find for this one. SLTFTC

Always slightly dubious about touching things at these places but fortunately we found it pretty quickly. Thanks for another new cache in the area and Merry Xmas.
