No luck for us on a moonless, windy night, nice out here all the same. great spot. had a little wander in various directions but failed to complete the mission... or to start it? Big Grin Found the starting tack but we failed to find more.

Appears to need replacing. Will work on a new one elsewhere.

Dropping night tracker. Sorry it's not in a cache further away. Tried buckateers night cache in Warnambool but failed.

12-Feb-13
Found it after a bit of an Agent 86 attempt last night. The night was perfect, no moon to give away our movements a brand new UV torch, put all the enemy agents to flight but hadn't read step one well enough. Got to start coordinates and managed to locate the first secret sign but all torches at hand were too dim to get us any further.
Tonight we moved on from a Maxwell attempt, left home with fully charged batteries and no shoe phone. Discovered marker two was placed in what could be called a high precision position, very clever James. Now we were off hot on the trail, could hear one agent shadowing us in the scrub but when the UV torch actually proved it worked it was only a matter of time before we signed the log.
Will see what I can do about photos, using the excuse they are waiting to be developed for now Big Grin TFTC

What fun we had finding this cache! We love trekking through the bush at night! So peaceful, besides from the odd truck roaring past on the highway every now and then, giving Hiluxury a bit of a fright and confusing her about the direction of our travels! Took Hiluxury out for a night of caching on her birthday after the BLE event! Happy birthday, Mum!!! Set out to just find this cache and did the "oh there is one 500m away, we can get that, but this is our last one! (Find the next one) Oh, but there is one 500m away, we can get that, but this is our last one! (Find the next one) OH, but there is one 500m away! Hehe! 6 caches later we decided to head home for birthday cache! Digging in about 20minutes to midnight, just before the birthday ticker ticked over! tftc!

#3568 We arrived at the starting co-ords expecting to see some other vehicles in the vicinity - surely we couldn't have the place to ourselves a this time of the evening. It was still a little too light for our "fire power" to be very effective. However we did have some trouble locating our starting firetack. After wandering around for 10mins or so trying to find the elusive reflector we decided to take a punt and head in a certain direction - we were spot on the money Big Grin. So a reflector trail was picked up and we walked off into the fast approaching darkness, now we were getting more bang for our buck with the torchesWink! Got to the Stage that directed us to GZ, a short while later the cache was in hand. A nice little night cache jgc3, thanks for bringing us out here on a pristine evening [^]

Took: Nothing
Left: Skullracing Carpe Diem Pathtag

Big little event trip for us making up some numbers. All these caches are taking us to great places we will come back to again one day.

Once again what a better way to spend a Sunday. Being out in the nature enjoying the scenery. TFTC appears somebody who has logged the find has not signed the book

19-Jan-13
Travelled to the local area for the big little event and hence logging as many caches as possible in the next few days.
Day 2 and cache 47.
Decided to do this night cache as there where not many associated with the event. In the end probably shouldn't have but at least it was a bit different.

Found as part of the Big Little Event, with Debs22. TNLNSL. Second tack (after the the track entrance) needs some traveling to locate, but after that, the cache is an easy find.

Never been night caching before. Still very new geocachers so not overly familiar with our GPS. We had some great clues given to us and some instructions from wmf183 so we set off from Nelson full of excitement. Arrived at what we thought was GZ got out our puny little torches and set off to find a gap in a fence. No luck. Maybe we read the GPS wrong. Drove up and down some more forestry trails - hang on this fence looks promising. Walked the fence line shining our puny little beams on each fencepost trying to catch a reflector. No, just wood and wire. Oh well. Let's try the next turn off - it might be just around the corner. No it wasn't. Explored lots of dirt roads saw lots of stars but no reflectors other than those on the side of the road! Reported back to our instructors and shared lots of laughs.

Tftc....all spys were going this way and that way it seemed rather disorganised frarog was glowing from behind a tree or was that a torch uum we didnt really know what spy tools they had with them and as for WMF138 well what ever spy method they were using was making some pretty weird noises and mrs WMF138 had some strong beam like aura shooting out of their spy vehicle and me my spy method just sneak around quietly trying to shake off the other spys when all of a sudden their they were right on top of me and the cache ,this is were the secret spy tool that belong to jantosys came in handy that magical beam of light worked a treat where would we be without that ,nowhere of course, numbers in hand final in view signed sealed and replaced and off out of the forest and on to the next big adventure as Mrs cruiser said you have all been watching go go gadet to much lol.

With the meeting of spy's from near and far we gathered with bug spray, torches, camo,
Some went way in the bush of the track, other walked around, till a spy roo jumped out, then it was tactical time to hit the ground roll till it was safe.

Upon finding with more clues, the dart from tree to tree till the cache was found.

Had ball of fun with cruisers95 , team frarog, little 1's who hid very well,. K2005 and Hairyscary06

WELL DONE Smile

What a great area for a night cache, we love doing these & what a surprise for us when we got here to find that no-agents have had a look for this yet. After getting out of our standard issue 4x4 Geo-car, we checked that we had all the right gear in the bag that we got off Q before the mission, & after a quick phone call to M , we were given "our licence to cahce" . After a few commando rolls & the use of our tech gear we had saved the world once again & were also the FTF ..... Very Happy
Probably one of the quickest night caches we have ever done but still plenty of fun & plenty of super cool bush spiders around watching us Smile
(Disclaimer-No villans were harmed in the finding of this cache)
