Despite searching for about 15 minutes we failed to find the cache. It has been a long time since the last find. A check would be appreciated. Thanks anyway.
There was a car sitting here for a while but lucky we had a total of 3 times passing the cache!
The first two times the car was there and there was someone in it, so searching would have been impossible given how close they were.
So after we went out and visited the dam wall we made one last final stop and crossed our fingers.
Sure enough GZ was 100% clear! Not a soul in sight!
After looking around a bit I realised it was easier than it should have been.
Thanks ozpirate

Juno and I were in the area for the June Long Weekend hunting for a few very unloved caches. With the goal completed, we then decided to grab some other local finds.
No issues grabbing this one. There was more water than I expected.
Cheers

After arriving into Tumut last night, we got up this morning with intentions to get as many finds as possible. We seen some wonderful scenery today, and loved the running waters around Tumut.
Beautiful clear river, tempting for a swim.
Thanks ozpirate for the placement of this cache[^]

Today was the first full day of our caching adventure with Rapidlywild in Tumut. I have never really been to Tumut before and was quite surprised by the size and the beauty of the place. Lovely water ways that were crystal clear. Just a lovely place to drive around and explore.
Lovely looking flowing water here if it was warmer I would have been tempted to go for a dip. Quick find and on our way.

Day nine of our High Country holiday. Another sunny day at Tumut with Bettyboo3747
Got out the deadly treadlies for a relative early morning ride along the river and wetlands.(again!)
We then travelled down to the dam wall at Blowering for some caches.
Then back for a dip in the creek - must be beer O'clock!.
A bit of back tracking took us to a spot near the rapidly running river.
A tightly packed container here in a very familiar hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 9993. After riding around the bike track and the wetlands this morning and quite a late breakfast and start to the day we decided to go out towards Blowering Reservoir for some sight-seeing and caching along the way. Managed 19 finds and the usual few DNF's (this time it was 2). Finished off the day with our swim in the river at the Caravan Park. Most enjoyable.
I could certainly see the container but a cache this size sure is a tight fit at the hiding place. It was an effort to retrieve and an effort to get it back there again. Dropped in a TB to continue its travels. I do love the Tumut River.
Thanks ozpirate

What a great day of exploring and we so enjoy visiting areas we have not been to before. Nice cache and beautiful countryside. Thanks to ozpirate for placing this cache.
CAUTION - BE CAREFUL - Found uncapped syringes under the bridge whilst unsuccessfully searching high and low.
Found on our Tumut trip. On the way to the Blowering Dam, so we quickly parked at the bridge for a quick find. It took a little bit of hard work to get the cache out of the crash barrier, but it was all good in the end. The cool blue river was raging madly today - a great sight to see.
3610 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1150 on our fortnightly district tours. GZ was onto the bridge by about 8 metres. Had a guess and container located. Took some photos both ways along the river. SL Tnx ozpirate
Found this one during our month long tour of SE Australia. It is our intention to find as many caches as possible during our stay and as a result logistics dictate that this generic log will have to suffice .Hope the cache owners, to whom we extend our gratitude for their efforts, will all understand the reasons for this. All good wishes from us both.

We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the "land down under."
No spiders here today, thank goodness.
Thanks for the fun ozpirate!

Quick grab on the way back to Talbingo. There were a few cars about but no one in sight…must have been further down the river trying to catch that big brown. TFTC. Discovered TB Ludwig Von Ledehosen.

River was running strong!

Tried to find this one but the area was very overgrown and we weren't keen on bashing through what felt snaky to try to find this cache.

I nice spot to stop a watch the river flowing by. It was flowing quite quickly today, TNLN thanks.
A well guarded cache which seemed to be a few metres out. Successful find on te way home to Jindy after a legal briefing in Wagga.
I always love the tumut river. And this was a nice easy find nearby! Thanks OZPirate!
Light traffic and the muggle was standing in the middle of the river on the other side of the bridge, so retrieval was easy. TFTC
GPS said int he middle of the grass, but a little thinking found it. And the fisherperson knew nothing. TFTC
Swift score while traipsing about the area on a geocaching run.
Thanks ozpirate, that's a tight squeeze.

Is a beautiful river with very deep long grass! But an easy find in the end. Thanks ozpirate.
Woo Hoo !!
A nice easy find
After that there was the matter of strolling down to the river bank for a look.
What a rare sight in OZ !!
It is not that often you get to see a crystal clear stream of this size rushing past [:o]
The amount of water is quite amazing.
At least a metre deep, over 15 metres wide and running at about 10 knots !!
And you can still see the rocks on the bottom
I wouldn't want to try to cross it other than by the bridge
TFTC.
I left the Kaoru Kamiya travel bug here too !!

Found on the way up to the dam for an afternoon of waterskiing. We haven't launched our canoes from this point so it was nice (and exciting for the kids) to discover this river access, we must return. The cache container was a bit bigger than we expected and the kids were happy to make swaps. A cool place to visit, to fish and to canoe. Thanks OzPirates, your caches are fun.
This is our last day in Tumut so have decided to explore the Blowering Dam region.
Quickly found, Logged & on our way.

Had not ever noticed the small parking and fishing area before and it was quiet good .
The river looked inviting on the hot day but we kept going anyway.
Thanks for the challenge.

Tumut 2012 with Sol de Lune. The water was thundering down the river as we stopped to get this from the most likely spot. Thanks.
