In view of recent comments and my failure to even spot anything methinks a cache check is in order here.
Finally the Geowife's lunch up north is on - took quite a few attempts at this one. So after dropping her and a friend at the station I headed south for more ***Cache Plundering In The Southern Highlands***.
I decided to start with a puzzle for which I've had the solution for a while. Well, wasn't that one exciting? A new experience after over five and a half thousand finds!
Then went for another seventeen in the area - with one DNF and one DNAttempt.
And home in time for... actually the Geowife said she only beat me home by 5 minutes.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
My only DNF of the day.
Well, unlike the recent previous "finders" I didn't even spot the container, let alone fail to grab it. And I'd brought a few tools with my to help with retrieval as well.

I may have seen it, but I can't be certain because it was too far down to reach. In either case, it needs some maintenance.
Found with 63Roos but we can’t reach cache because too deep.. you go check up pls.. thanks
A bit of a challenge closing the gap between seeing the cache and having in the hand. Too in the views too.
Out caching with Lucky Cricket and Little Cricket on my birthday, A good hide TFTC
Looking for an address near here and noticed there was a cache nearby. Thanks for the cache! Visiting from Canada.
caching the southern highlands with Chubby Try Hard today, its a lot of fun being the passenger for a change. as she has found many of these already she pulled up in exactly the right spot for a quick find. I dodged the rusty barbed wire while kneeling to reach for the cache. getting up wasn't so easy, damn this getting older business is a drag and i'm not old yet either!! anyway I took the 10c I found in the cache to put in the next charity box I find as another cacher told me recently that's what they do with the coinage swag. I think that's a great idea and will do so from here on. tftc

On our way to Ulladulla had to stop and find a cache. Nice and easy one, thanks!
Today saw us out and about on a little caching trip that added 7 traditional finds to the collection. This was find number 7.
Thanks The Bushies for showing us where some great views of the region are located.
Grand Cache count = 522 total consisting of 492 Traditionals, 17 Multi, 5 Mystery, 4 Earth and 2 Virtual.

Fantastic location. Great place for a cache love it. Thanks for the hide. Log signed. Will need a new log really soon.
Found while out with the family. Easy enough find though the description threw us out a bit. Shame the cache is not located at the view. Great view when you walk across and check it out. TFTC
Found it at 12noon,yippee,but an injury was caused on wire while kneeling, tftc
Quick stop on the way to get some lunch. Last day in Oz so finished on a high. TFTC.
Found with Nurreg on our way to Kangaroo Valley for a few nights. He is hoping to reach 200 finds by tomorrow TFTC
Found the cache on my way to the Australia Day/Birthday bash event at Hilltop.
It was surprisingly busy along here today, plenty of muggles travelling around for Australia Day.
Thanks Bushies for the cache

TFTC. Both geokiddies now asleep. Still we continue on our night caching expedition. Found this one easily. Park and run over the road. TB's stopped by for a visit.
A nice easy find, where I could get off the road right at GZ. Through out a couple of bits of rubbish and left a little plastic crocodile.
Thank you for the cache Bushies.
Thank you for the cache Bushies.
Heading off early on a Friday to go camping is amazing. The roads are clear and caches can be found along the way. Thank you.
Streak Day #1038 - Out on a day trip to the Illawarra with dave8153, we decided to do some caches and then cache our way home. This was a quick find for us. TFTC
The location of GZ was simple, but retrieval of the cache was not easy. I could see it after I removed camo, but my hands were badly scratched after I reached way down to pull it from its hideyhole. The next finder will find it a lot easier though. Thanks to The Bushies for the hide, years ago we used to drive this road to visit friends, they had a great view north.
OMG it was a park the car, look left look right and look left again. This was a easy find.
Thanks The Bushies.
Thanks The Bushies.
Nice one for the way home to finish off a geocaching weekend with my mother nice and easy but the bike rider probably think we're nuts following for the last 30m at snail pace in our car to the GZ
HappyUke's hubby came along today to see what I get up to geocaching. We got two. It didn't take us long to find this one. Plastic bag, log was in, is ripped and as such log a little damp. Sorry didn't have replacement bag, so wrapped it up as tight as I could and put lid on really tight. Views south are nice but conifers in the way of views north, petty.
Over this side of the Tasman for a family event, managed to squeeze some caching between festivities (or vice versa...). Quick find very close to cache name. Too hazy for views of Sydney, but great outlook over the rolling countryside. TFTC?
A quick and easy find but I was lucky that as it was late there was no traffic. I almost lost the cache down a hole where it was hiding, maybe a slightly large cistern would be a safer strategy. I will need to come back during the daytime to see all of the wonderful views.
Cache and log in good shape. Tftc

It certainly is a narrow, especially around the sharps bends. Surprised by the amount of traffic. Nonetheless, a scenic drive. Impressed by all the lines of trees - like giant hedges. TFTC
Final cache on the way home after a log day wandering around. Been meaning to grab this one for a while so now its off the list. Quick find and TFTC
Find 6 of 25 for today.
I can remember precisely what I was doing 12-12-12:12:12. I was trying to escape some zealot telling me about the numerology associated with that date/time. One minute later, we were still alive, at which point I departed with "we're lucky we didn't got to decimal calendar and time".
Well, unfortunately, the date is against me, but I stuck around until 12:12 pm (arriving at 12:03 pm) to sign the log.
There was just enough space to drop in a party popper to continue the celebration.

I found this cache as a joint part of “Team” *Throsbyonchurch* and in which name the log book was signed. I now have my own account as I’m old enough to cache myself, so I am claiming a fair share of my earlier finds. As I had no caching name at the time there's no log in the book for me but I’m claiming the find under team ToC. Thank you for the hide.
Thought I'd hit the highway and have a snoop from Colo Vale, Hill Top and Buxton with intentions to go via Yerrinbool, but someone's cache at Colo Vale held us up for quite some time. But before this meander I thought I'd swing by and pickup this cache which I'd been wanting to collect for some weeks. This was too easy. I am surprised at how many cars are travelling this road these days. I remember there were hardly any. I love this road and love to travel it on a frequent basis, it's such a wonderful country road. It makes me feel in-touch with my great grandies, especially closer to the Glenquarry end. SL and replaced, thanks for the hide.
Nice easy find, but this cache is more about the views, if you didn't believe in paradise before you will after seeing this place, TFTC!
A wet windy day today, figures doesn't it, you get the time to plan a big caching day and what happens - it rains ! Geo hubby decided to brighten the rest of my day by suggesting we do a little caching anyway, so off we set.... 2 for 2 not a bad start to the afternoon
I always love the drive along these roads.
