Found it! After leaving Broken Hill before first light this morning I started caching from Wentworth. Now zigzagging here and there around the Mildura area getting as many caches as I can. Parked up and wandered over to the object at GZ. A quick find on the first lap I made sure to don the hazmat suit before handling the log book! TFTC!
A quick find in a very big stump, after mr sharnie's tribe decided which stump he was targeting. TFTC
Another delightful day in Mildura and surrounds. It started out a bit chilly, near 1 degree on the dashboard. Again it turned into a fantastic day with blue skies, sunshine and 18 degrees. No complaints from us at all.We wandered about a bit today finding interesting caches and locations. Thanks to Mebclever for this hide, we suspect it wandered off in the flood so we have popped a container here with a temporary log until the CO can drop by for some maintenance.
We searched for quite a while in all the usual spots but no smiley for us today. Thanks anyway MebcleverWe thought after finding the other one this would magically appear but alas, it's gone.
Found It!
Looks like someone has been using this area as a toilet. Thankfully the cache is well off the ground away from the poop.

On our maintenance run checking all the caches as we go. All good here ready for the next cacher to find .Cheers Mebclever
A little bit windy today but overall a nice walk. While it visiting friends camping we decided to go and find this one, and came across a beautiful blue tongue lizard! Easily found the cache, left a small swap, took nothing. TFTC!
Found this cache after a short search. Lovely views of the river and the pelicans. First time to this area.
Headed out to this part of the river today, mainly to search for the nearby cache which had over a year since it was last found. This was a nice bonus to the trip being so close by and it was Mrs P for the second time time today who found the cache. Lock 10 was in full flow by the look of it and plenty of fisherman around enjoying the great weather. Thx Mebclever for placing a cache here. If I could make one suggestion, the area could really do with a CITO event or at least a visit from the council to give the area a bit of litter TLC. Apart from that, areally nice part of the river to visit. Cheers
We are up here having a holiday on a houseboat and went for a walk through the bush to find this. Easy find. Great view. Thank you
Mark, Bill and Joan were looking for this one. In the end Joan was the one not stumped by the hide.
Thanks for placing these caches Mebclever.

This was found as we had a weekend off and wandered the area
thank you Mebclever for placing the cache

We circled around the gz for too long before Mrs Hp found this sneaky little blighter, although I don't think it was meant to be that tricky, hint for fellow caches no need to crawl about as the area is now a urinal or worst with plenty of signs left laying about. Great views of the lock though, thanks Mebclever for the cache.
Wanted to clear some of our local map off. we worked out which ones we would attempt and head to the one furthest away and work our way back. This was our first cache on our list, we had planned to drop off a couple of our new TB's along our travels but after we found the cache and couldn't fit him we thought we might need to re-evaluate that plan. We signed and returned the cache and moved onto our next on the list.
Decided to write out a list and go for an adventure around the Merbein area, areas I have never been before. I really enjoyed this spot driving into it I was like wow, this is gorgeous! Very pretty, really loved the adventure through here!! We took some photos of Lock 10, and we quickly had the cache in hand.. It was a little funny smelling around this area too. TFTC!!
So near and yet so far! When I left Wentworth this morning the cache was only 1.5 km away and yet I had to drive just a wee bit more than that to get here. Lovely to see the lock from this side. Quick and easy find. As others have said, shame about the litter. Took a strawberry and left a harp. Love the big trees here, feel quite dwarfed by them! Cache #2433.
Had leap day off and needed to fill that one last day on the calendar.
Closest event for the day was in Mildura, and I'm in the riverland, so
the old mail road it was...
Sad how much rubbish was dumped here, but a nice spot for the cache anyway.

Nice easy find, it's a shame people are gross pigs and leave rubbish everywhere still a great spot to check out the lock. Sl tftc
We stopped for a cuppa here, and watched the water flow over the weir and the guy cleaning the gates. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
Having visited the Wentworth park its kind of a long way round to get to the other side. Too much litter around the camp area. Good view of the Lock.
Found by Roma and Max.
Another lovely spot along this mighty river and we are glad to see your cache commemorates what was once a magnificent red gum!
Thanks again Mebclever.

Exploring down lock 10 rd to see what was there, genuinely surprised there's a cache here. Nice!
Found with the hero husband, Moneydork, while we were away for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. Thank you.
This one has been on my to do list for a while.
Nice spot, but unfortunately with some yucky rubbish.

After spending a week or two camping beside the Darling further up in NSW it was great to see where it and the Murray come together. There were some great campsites around this location too, but the noise from the flowing water was pretty loud so not sure I'd want to stay here too long ... then again, who knows? TFTC
After a bit of looking around because neither the phone or GPS wanted to play the game was about to give up and there it was right in front of me. TFTC
We have been and checked out this cache after a few DNF'S . The cache is still in place , clean , dry and ready to be found. Co/ords are still correct , must be just a good hiddy hole.
Looked for a good half an hour on two occasions for thins one, and sadly no luck! ;(

We are spending a week caching around Mildura with Phetlern. Todays trip plan was to travel out west along the Old Mail route and to log some caches along the way.
We found this cache after a little bit of searching, and boy what an unsavoury place this is. We counted at least three pairs of underpants with skid marks and untold reams of toilet paper, not to mention the brown "nuggets" buried in the leaf litter.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Under 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks Mebclever for the hunt today.

We set off in company with Ian & Penny in search of some caches which could be accessed via The Old Mail Route Road. This was our first stop, we had viewed the area from interstate a couple of days back. What a fascinating structure this clever little hide has been secreted into. It took a while but persistence paid off eventually.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt Mebclever.

Our GPS wonted us to go into NSW but we knew better. So many places to look. Great area to explore. No muggle around fishing today. TFTC. See you around soon.
The Kids and K came out looking for this cache as soon as it was published. A strange Muggle came along and wouldn't go away. N came out and had the cache in hand within a few minutes {*FTF*} . We saw quite a few lizards on a way in. We had a camp oven roast near here during winter. A car came and parked almost on top of our fire and the people proceeded to cast their fishing rods over the top of ours. Some people don't like to be lonely down the river. They had plenty of space if they wanted it. Thanks for the cache.
