Hey, woof... JC Cache Dawg here...
I'm loading all my finds from my Alpha Males (aka GenCuster) logs, where he deigned to remember that I was with him... As if he could forget...02/01/13 12:30 GC did his bit walking me. I sÕpose.

Me managed to pick up some rubbish at a cache site this morning before attending the Event at Hagley park and left it in the bins provided there. Thanks so much for organising the CITO. Thanks to this we manged 8 different cache types today
A busy day attending an event and relocating a final of a puzzle cache. Had no problem collecting a bag of rubbish while looking for a suitable place. TFTC
02/01/13 12:30 Did my bit walking JC Cache Dawg with Team EJ. (See pic that I hope to remember to upload). Good to catch up with new & old caching friends at the nearby event. Cheers, GC.
Thanks to everyone who attended and made an effort to contribute to a cleaner start to the new year in spite of the weather sitting on the hedge - and thanks to sonia26642 for (gently?) pushing me into organising it while she was busy (=having fun) with other things
Managed to collect my fair share of rubbish in a few parks aroudn Christchurch. Travelling down from Welly, I noticed that rubbish bins seem to be a scarce commodity in rest areas in the South Island? I don't recall finding any bins in rest areas.
Great to catch up again, and meet a few locals.

Thanks mum heaps for organising this!!
Collected rubbish in and around the event - you have proof of this in photo's on your camera! (So you can upload them )
But was good fun and great to pick up rubbish at the event. - Wow there is a whole ton of cigarette butts there! Tried to pick up as much as possible, but wow there was heaps. Found an old beer box!
TFTC!!

Called to Stage 3 of Cheers near the university first - no luck here - couldn't locate the required numbers and no rubbish (guess the students are in their hometowns!)
Then went to the final co-ords for Yard Work - had collected the required info and claculated the final a while ago, but had no luck with the find then. Had our co-ord confirmed by CO but hadn't made it back til today ... but somehow hadn't loaded the right co-ords into phone app so only had the genral area to look. Plenty of rubbish here and filled my bag but was looking too far away to find the cache.
Thanks for the event two birds with one stone - and could have been more ...

Have to admit that my CITO was yesterday. Centaurus Road looked like a bomb site after the NYE with fast food packaging strewn everywhere. Local Mobil garage accepted quite a bit of rubbish in his skip - so full marks there.
The Ground around the Event must be the cleanest area of Hagley Park. Pity it cant stay that way. TFTC
Filled a shopping bag at a river side parking area. Will sort the glass and aluminium into the recycling bin ofr extra points.
Managed to make some rubbish but I took it home with me. Then finding another cache in the park - found a beer can for JustMeG which I will pass onto her later. Does that count? Think the wind has probably blown a lot of stuff everywhere.
After the event, our son wanted to shop for new cycle helmet & we needed to check on some of our disabled caches for updated status. On way home we went back via Hagley Park to try find 2 other caches. While the boys were caching, I got out the rubbish bag & filled it up on a walk along Harper Ave. Just where do all the cans, bottles & fast food packing come from - probably thrown out from cars ! [B)] Nice to meet you Hinemoana, and see that geocaching genes runs through the family.
700 - I checked on some of my caches on the way to the event and picked up some rubbish. I was hoping to find some specific items but didn't. This was a cool idea, and it was nice to meet you again too. Thanks for the tips and ideas and for the group outing after.
Thank, Hinemoana and Sonia - a great idea. I personally could not believe the number of cigarette butts at GZ! People need to geocache, not smoke....
(It'll be interesting to see the smoking stats in the upcoming Census, Sonia).
Take care and see you soon. TFTC.

We gathered alot of rubbish whilst trying to find Namesake. A good idea to have this type of event as every little bit of rubbish gathering helps. Thanks for organising it.
Gathered our bags of rubbish while caching on our way here. Nice to meet you Hinemoana- no doubt you will be back. Good luck with your study

Hi, as this has the same co-ordinates as the other event I'm not sure if people can get it to open off the map, I couldn't so I did a search by name to be able to log my will attend (and to have a record to jog my memory) , Great idea!
