TFTC! Back up here after a wet winter's evening. Many lovely smells from the native plants come out in the morning dew. The cache was simple to find and retrieve however, it's in dire need of some TLC. A lot of moisture has gotten in and has caused items to rust. Lemon juice is good for that. TFTC
A lovely heart starting morning walk. The cache guarding wallaby on the track obviously decided I was ok and hopped away as I approached. The cache was an easy find. It could do with some attention as it is wet inside and on top of an ants' nest but otherwise alright. TFTC
I walked right passed it. The cache is very wet. The container wasnt closed when I arrived. TFTC
Snips and Co and I were enjoying our walk and our chin wag.. we came across a few muggles, including 2 young ladies who were off on a picnic carrying a very large thick blanket I was tempted to ask if we could join their picnic, I had forgotten to bring my own sustagen. It might have been the cause of our delirium later on, but it didn't stop us from finding your caches this one included.
Tiz13 and I found a few of the DM Series today, on our round walk guided by these well placed caches. Nice, simple find. It is so peaceful here, with only walkers and kangaroos to be spotted moving about. Thanks ahomburg, you have inspired me to find the whole series.
A night of shenanigans and adventures with my mate n0w0rries along with nirgalagrin, LetThemEatCache and SteMicMitSar. It was a special night for n0w0rries celebrating his #9000 find milestone starting at 9pm here, moving through the night in the Dandenongs and finishing up at 3am at the flash mob event in Officer.
We were here for a night cache and along the track I collected this one. Most of the others had already found this one in the past. Luckily it was an easy find and nothing jumped out at me when I reached in to retrieve the cache. I did feel something softish under the lid as I was opening it and dropped it hurriedly to the ground. I don't know how I didn't scream in that moment.
Thank you for the cache here ahomburg

TFTC nice easy find. All a little damp in there but log was definitely signable
Last cache for the day, I am pooped and heading home. Fortunately the cache was found quickly. The log is a bit damp, but signable.
Nice easy one to get me started today and chance for a breather before real climbing begins. TFTC
Went for a bit of a scramble on the wrong side of the path but found it on the way back! Haha it's a little soggy but still ok.TFTC!
I didn’t come here via the Boulevard- like a few others I made a beeline up the hill just to get the ticker up a few beats. It’s also nice to be in the bush so close to the burbs of Marvellous Melbs. The good ol GPS didn’t play fair in the trees but found the cache eventually after reading a few previous logs. TFTC and the FUN!
Out with echidna44 caching in the Ferntree Gully area. Bit of a hike to get to GZ. Found cache exactly where it should be. Thanks ahomburg
Out with pinnacle333, we were caching in the Ferntree Gully area.
The younger ones sprinted on ahead to find this cache. Thanks ahomburg.

Tool a minor trip up the hill, and the weather was nice enough that I got quite a beautiful light show from the town's below.
Wandered around a bit long, as the GPS was out by 15m, but reading prior cachets logs had me in the right spot eventually.
Cache is in amazing condition and log book is dry too.

I ended up on the trail to this one by accident looking for a parking spot. When a car was right where I wanted to be I kept going and headed towards this one. Beautiful views and a nice little walk I found this one easy enough when I put my phone away.
It was a bit wet but still a nice cycle mountain. This one took a bit of rock turning over, but I found it ok. TFTC.
A slow walk up this steep T1.5 hill (seriously?) and we were rewarded with beautiful views. Not a soul in sight today as we soaked up the serenity, then headed off the track.
After a brief search, the cache was located.
Thanks ahomburg for the exercise and bringing us here today.

Thanks I Hamburg. Thought id take a look up this neck of the woods after work as usual on now I'm late and have to boogie home regards from Vic
Mate this one defeated us, I lost count how many rocks I flipped over on the lower side of the path. Also through what I think is a drain lined with rocks.
Cant believe we didn’t find it.
Please prove us wrong, it was a long way to go without success.
Mind you my go’s on the phone way swing anywhere from 5-11m in circles at times

Forget what I said we where on the wrong party. Make sure you search from from the gravel road.
Down hill from a concrete drain
Yeeehaaaa finally

Dropped our daughter off nearby, and took the opportunity to find some caches.
After a brisk walk uphill, approaching GZ I caught up to a muggle couple proceeding at a very leisurely pace. So I dawdled along behind until they were sufficiently ahead for me to duck off the track and find the cache.
Replaced the holey Ziploc bag for the logbook from my spares.

An unexpected detour to find this guy today.
Found safe and well after revisiting a near by multi.

That rock doesn't look quite right... a nice quick find on a lovely walk TFTC!
Found while out walking, needs a new plastic bag for logbook as it has perished and logbook is slightly damp but ok.
I had a rare day off and with the weather looking like it was going to be good I headed into the Ranges for my daily recreation. I took a slightly different route to previous walks as I have set myself a goal of walking all the tracks here in my 5km zone to give me something to do. I hadn't walked up the Boulevard before, and was quite surprised at how quickly I gained height without really feeling it in the legs. The added bonus was the cache, which was quickly found once looking in the right spot. TFTC ahomburg!
wow! what a climb!! great spot! think we may have approached from the wrong way! good workout!
Finding caches while in lockdown seems to be a debatable topic, so here’s my 2 cents
From the DHHS website :
“I live in Melbourne. Can I undertake recreational activities like fishing?
Yes. From 11:59pm on 8 July, if you live in metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire, you can leave home for permitted exercise and recreation activities that are outdoors and can be done by yourself, members of your household, or with one other person. “
Geocaching being an outdoor recreation activity is therefore permitted, although this does not mean drive around getting drive-by caches all day. Just that a few hours caching whilst walking or riding each day , just like fishing or golfing, should be fine as long as you are social distancing and being hygenic.
Thanks ahomburg for DM #37 The Boulevard

It was pretty easy to find took me and the fam about 5 minutes to find! The hint did not really help us, but we did find it in... wait i am not aloud to tell you! HAHAHA!
Our first geocache with our 4 year old and 2 year old! Two very excited kids who got a little treasure at the end and left their own
Really sketchy but good fun with my mate fantastic view and some cool paintings
I've had this in my sights for some time. This morning I walked up, located and signed the log, then continued up the hill.

Heading home after work, a nice spot for a quick walk. Certainly can hear a fair bit up here, sirens and cars and all sorts of other noise.
After a climb earlier this week we returned to climb all the way from Ferntree Gully to One Tree Hill. There were a lot more than 'just one tree' on the way up!
Wrapping up the walk now and just as we returned to the boulevards below I made the final find of the afternoon, with a quick find at GZ using the hint.
Thanks, ahomburg.

Since one of the reasons I was out and about today was to get some exercise (and fresh air and stuff), I won't comment about the hill climb. That is, once I figured out which road I needed to be on... the cachly iphone app was a little confusing as to the paths (or maybe I just sucked at reading it.). Anyway, once I backtracked from the perigrine caches down through the conservation area and found Ladys Walk, I was sorted. Climbing climbing climbing. Arrived at a likely spot and stopped to search. With the aid of the hint, it didn't take long, but it was a little further off the track than I expected. All in good condition. I think this is the first in this series for me, so there's a way still to go! (And lots more climbing, I suspect LOL)
I just happened to be going past around 9pm, so there was still a little light around, especially once I turned the torch off. Good view of lights over the city though, and a nice orange glow off to the west. All in all, quite scenic.
The cache did not present too many difficulties to find - coordinates seemed reasonable and I'd passed the last passers-by for the night at the trailhead.
Thanks for the cache - looks like I'm almost up to have of the 100 DM caches...

Off to Dandenongs to find a cache or two to fill in a blank day on our calendar. We parked at the beginning of the track and headed uphill. No-one else in sight near GZ and the container was quickly found. Signed log and replaced. TFTC
We enjoyed the walk in the forest and the view towards the skyline! .... oh, of course we found the cache! TFTC!
It was certainly an easier trek to this cache than the other ones in the series . Plus some stunning views out to the south west . thanks ahomburg
Having done #39 we headed off along Boulevard Track. Thankfully this was all downhill now, except for a shortcut I suggested, which turned out to be a slog. Thanks ahomburg
Was in the vicinity working on another multi, so thought I’d take a stroll to grab this one! It’s full of great swaps that will please any geokids. Thanks Ahomburg for the cache in this beaut spot
I was down this way for a family wedding and managed to sneak out for a morning walk amidst the plethora of other goings on. I didn't have much of a plan so I figured I follow the trails and have a looksy for caches on the way. This was the first for the walk.
Found the cache (in good condition) after a short and set off for some more uphill.
Thanks abhomburg.

Dad and teen made our way up from Peregrine Reserve, grabbing this cache via an extended bush-bash. Easy find with the use of the hint. Thanks heaps Adriaan for showing us around this stretch of the hills.
For business trip in Melbourne an used some free time to search some caches, this afternoon in total 14 caches discovered. All CO's thanks for the hide.
To nice a day not to come out for a quick walk and grab a cache. I even saw a bee hive
