Logs
After a long while registered with Geocaching, I am archiving my self and the caches associated with me. Thank you to Geocaching.com for a great time, and thank you to all who sent lovely logs for my caches.
We didn't find the cache but did see a Huntsman spider. That's another native ticket off for this British tourist.
Out exploring a new snake unlikely park to take the doggies to. Lots of bike and runner dodging. Looked for this one twice, on the way in and on the way out as I was determined not to be beaten. But alas I was. Saw a few likely spots where this could had been, using the hint and previous logs didn’t think it should be too difficult. Almost dismantled the seat at one point!
With summer on the doorstep today I figured a plan to enjoy some caching and a stealth ride. Made good time getting early so was able to enjoy the ride. No spiders but a sign saying a snake was spotted today. Cache found okay. Thanks to atraversiamo for placing this cache.
Didn't need any extraction, which had me looking in the wrong type of places at first. Nice fresh log to sign. Tftc
I decided to head to this area for a walk and to do some caching along the way. As I headed to this GZ there were Budgerigars in the grass nearby and I enjoyed watching them move around eating. After finding the cache, they all flew off as a usually timid dog (according to the owner) came bounding over to say hello. TFTC
TFTC, I think this a lovely spot for this cache. Once again TFTC atraversiamo
Muggles were out in numbers today but we got the job done anyway. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Arrived here to find a muggle about to seat himself right where we needed to look. Interference was run whilst another of our party found the cache. We were lucky as there were a lot of dog's that brought their owners for a walk to this spot within ten minutes. Thanks for the cache.

Out this arvo with Mrs Papi4506 clearing up a few more in this area.
Decided to take a “rest” to find this one, while Mrs P distracted muggle dog and owner.
Cheers atraversiamo

Out for a day of caching whilst in the big smoke, we had picked up quite a few caches close by and thought we would finish off the area. What a lovely inner suburban park with nice views and also a great park for the geokids to play in. We were particularity impressed with the nature play area which was enjoyed as well.
This was our first find for the day and a quick little nano hidden in a familiar location.

Out for the bike ride at Westerfolds Park, Lower Plenty with Crank1. Beautiful day! Thanks for bringing us here and the cache.
Found it! Last cache for the day. I am sure passing Muggles wondered what we were up to but who cares. I found it and let Muggle Heather find it before I retrieved the sneaky little cache. TFTC SL
In the area to finish off a challenge cache and had to find a few more because I could.
A nice park along the Yarra and even with the lovely weather I practically had the place to myself.
This was the first one for the area and as there could only be a few spots to hide a cache a sat back grabbed a cache and enjoyed the view.
Thanks atraversiamo TFTC

We found this one quickly, but without the spiders. Two Magpies were nearby looking for food in the leaf litter, but a Noisy Miner kept swooping them. We also saw two Common Bronzewings and a group of Red-rumped Parrots. Tftc.
It was a nice day for a ride with the geokid around this area to grab a number of caches. Well, geokid now in the nearby playground while we looked and found this one. Lovely spot, and last cache for the day. 25 finds, and 4 dnfs...not too bad.

I had the day off with my kids so we decided to head off on a bit of a drive out this side of town to check out the nearby wombat park. It certainly helped that there were quite a few caches to check out nearby as well.
I always like having the kids on hand for hides like these so I can supervise the search without having to get dirty crawling around on the ground. After a quick search we spotted the hide and after a bit of improvisation managed to extract it from it's hiding spot. Thanks for the cache atraversiamo.

Sometimes a cache just doesn't want to be found and this was the case here. I first tried looking for this one back before it moved but was unlucky twice, then I tried once when it had moved, but again no luck. I think I must have looked everywhere except the one spot where it is. So I finally got around to coming back here determined to get it and Lo and behold I found it quite easily.
So big smiles from here on out today! And finally I can say TFTC!!!

As I pulled up here in the car, I saw a glimpse between the trees of a beautiful kite in the sky. I stayed in the car until a song finished and in that time the kite people began to leave : (
At GZ I did what the hint told me to, and found it right were I was, that never happens! Thanks

Finding a few out here today - 3rd for the day, dodged muggles on their morning walks to retrieve this one. I'm finding lots of tiny nanos today... thanks for the cache, lovely park.
I can't believe it's been just short of a year since we last looked for this sneaky cache, and didn't find it. Unfortunately a lot can happen in a year. The hints provided to us from the cache owner from when we DNF have been made useless as the cache has change. But fortunately being a whole year of geocaching skills wiser, we were quickly able to find this sneaky hide. Thanks atraversiamo for a great cache.
Staying in Melbourne with family over Christmas, we found time to go for a short walk and find a few caches in Finns Reserve. We found 2 parts of the container on the ground without it's log so we put some paper in the container and put it back where we think it had been hidden given the information provided. TFTC
Just the type of cache I love! Not. GPS had me going around but found it without much trouble. TFTC
The last time I was in Finns Reserve I was appreciably heavier and therefore less fit. Today, I intended to find as many caches as I could on a 10km roundtrip walk from the car. This was a quick find however I forgot my log extraction tool in the car and thus inadvertently added a little extra distance onto the walk, no bad thing!
Perusing the logs I can see I had the benefit of timing given the run of previous DNFs. Thanks for keeping cachers visiting the reserve, atraversiamo!

On the way home from taking my son to Box Hill I stopped here to find this cache that was MIA last time I visited. This time it was a very quick find as the MO is similar to others that I have found recently.
Thanks atraversiamo for the quick maintenance visit and replacement since my recent DNF.

This cache has been muggled so many times with the councils efforts to clean up the park. Therefore it is back in it's original place. This is a nano, really tiny. Sit down and enjoy the tranquility of the park.

Cache has been a victim of many muggle attacks. please be careful to replace thoughtfully.
after a did not find I went to explore. Council has been at it again and tampered with my cache. sorry to anyone trying to find it. I will replace it soon and maybe change its location slightly.
After getting confused at a nearby multi I decided to try my luck here. Even after examining the area for 15 minutes I could not find the cache. I will return and search again.
Mrs Plow has sharp eyes today. Very tricky but we did use the hint to guide our search. Tftc!
This took a little while to find and the GPS was a little off in the end. Nice camouflage and a smaller container than we expected. TFTC
We brought some newbies for the ride and he found it first time. Great hide and camouflage. Thanks
We spent a bit of time trying to find this one and then - "hey, what's that?" Thanks for a clever hide.
No problem with Muggle or shoe laces or a well placed cache. A fav added.
Thanks

Out first find of the day. Found relatively quickly, but there were 7 of us searching. Found with Melro9. Tftc.
We decided to pick up these last few before heading our separate ways. We searched in all sorts of likely places. We'd been looking for a fair while when vividrogers canvassed an area that I'd just looked in. I was surprised to hear the call that she'd found it. Oh goodness, I'd looked at that and not thought anything of it. This was a very nicely disguised cache. I'm awarding it a favourite point. Thanks for placing this cache!
We came up to this cache for the last few before home. It did take a while searching but when I found it I really liked the camouflage. Great view from the nearby bench too. The nearby park will be a must in the school holls
We found this cache today at 11:55am as number 4 of 5 on our Templestowe Sunday Morning Loop. This cache had become a bit of a nemesis cache for us. Back in 2014, we couldn't even get a search started as muggles were right near GZ at both our first and second visit to the spot half an hour later. In 2015, we had an extensive search but to no avail and it turned out that the cache had disappeared at that particular time. Today, I had in my mind a leg up that the CO had given us after our last visit and thankfully, a similar type of cache was soon located. Finally off of our DNF list and onto our F list. Thanks from D, HA, H & A B-A.
I came to this cache with Treasureseeker several months ago and had a DNF. Given I was back in the area with TinkerTraveller and geokids I thought I'd try this cache again. My GPSr and phone were putting me in different places to TinkerTravellers GPSr. Eventually we settled on an approx area and TinkerTraveller made the find. A great hide and glad to finally have this one turned to a smiley. TFTC
On our way to complete the nearby challenge cache, Jeckleberryandtedd and I thought we would stop to find this one. Knowing it was camo didn't really tell us much but as we widened the search area while the geokids sat noisily in the shade I soon spotted something slightly conspicuous and sure enough we had it. Great to find another in the series. Tftc
No luck on this one today, will have to try again another.
Once I got back home and had a look though previous logs I noticed a CO log saying "you just need to look at the base of the nearby wattle tree" while the hint suggests you look at eye level, which is what we spent all our time doing. Can the CO please advise. Thanks for the great series. Cheers

Found it with Angelique_anja and Zedaycee, but it was just laying around. The log was wet and we needed to wait for it to dry.
Nice sunny day, so that went fast! great park

Found it with Zedaycee and Tally Tiger. Though we gad.to wait for the log to dry before signing it though... Lucky its a nice warm day today with lots of sun.
Excellent hide. Coordinates and clue are spot on. It was sort of laying around in the open so i put it back in the cluster. TFTC
Looked around the base of many bushes and couldn't find it. Definitely need a better clue for this one.
Had a really good (and wide) search for this one. No luck, as per the others.

I have had to change the co-ords of this one very slightly. the cache kept on getting disturbed with council gardening so I have had to move it to a safer location. it is only 2.5 metres away from last location. you just need to look at the base of the nearby wattle tree.

I'm always a bit hesitant trying to find a cache with so many DNFs. This was no exception. After waiting out a few muggles I searched, and searched with no luck.
I don't think I will look for this one again until there has been confirmation from the CO that it is still there.

Our second visit to this cache with no find. The first time muggled out and this time it does not seem to be an easy find with dozens of square metres seeming to fit the hint.
Out on a cache hunting circuit on Betty Windsor's birthday day. As if that mattered.
My impatience with nanos lasted about four minutes, then I moved on. Thanks anyway atraversiamo!
