Too hard to maintain since moving to Wellington. Container gone, free for another cacher!
Cheers for the reports. I'm back up in the week 14th - 19th Jan so will try to get this replaced.
Out with the dog for a short boxing day walk and found a very battered container here. Completely open at one end now but log still dry. Massive cattle here seemed friendly. Tftc
We found a very broken container here. The log is still dry in a bag, but the container has seen better days.

Quick grab. Now we know what no flax looks like. The container need replacing
Found it looks like a dog has had a big bust up with the container

The container is smashed and needs replacing but the logbook is still okay for now. I needed one more cache today and this was on the way home. Pity it was a flax hide. My veiws on flax and suitable punishments for those who set them are well known. Nevertheless (deep breath) TFTC.
Found it! Container is in rough shape, looks like it’s been run over or stepped on. Forgot my pen thanks for the cache!
So much flax around. Had to put fone away and rely on GPS to get the right flax. I hate flax but this one was nice and easy. Thank you.
Oops yet another found 8th August 2017 and not logged. Checked today and our entry there.
Another cache on a lovely walk.

The heavens opened as we headed to this cache. I was very glad I had a good raincoat and my tramping boots on - it might have looked over-kill but I was snug. Groaned when I saw the hint, but soon uncovered the cache (snug as well). Thanks for the cache kyb3r.
This looked like a real nice area with all the nice plantings, it was let down by the abundance of yellow flowering bush along the fence line ...it was a real shame as there had been extensive planting of natives and other quality plants ....I really love flax bush caches .nah ....but this was a quick and clean find and the cache was in good condition thanks for the placement kyb
The track to the cache was a little muddy in places. No difficulty in finding the cache. Thank you for the placement.
Let's make sure to include a tag with this one, shall we? I had to carry my bike over a few barriers. Oh well.

I should have trusted the clue! Out and about today and decided to collect the caches in Cambridge. This was the 2nd one for the area. I searched, but not well enough, so wondered off to search other spots before finally coming back and tackling the area from a different perspective the cache became visible
Found it! It was easy! Took the geokid and geonana along! Took an elephant stamp, left a fancy bubble wand! TFTC!
Found with two newbies under the age of 12. On the way home to New Plymouth. Tftc.
Thankfully not the worst flax cache I've found - once I got on the right track.

Our journey today goes from Te Awamutu to Rotorura. But we have enough time to found some caches near the road. So we found this one.
Thanks for showing this places and hidding the caches. Greetings from Germany!!!

What amazes me about Cambridge is all the lovely green parks, reserves and lush green surroundings. This walkway is certainly no exception. We'd never have known this walkway was here if it weren't for geocaching. We parked on Alpers Ridge and made the stroll to GZ, taking in the lush greenery and stunning views of the river below. Once at GZ, the cache took a few minutes to locate but coords and hint are very good. We signed the log and left a TB for the next finder. Thanks for showing us this area and TFTC!
Nice easy find on our way to the airport. I was holding off on this one for a challenge I wanted to complete. TFTC.
We were happy there was a decent hint on this one as flax is not our thing. Day one of a 4 day road trip from Hawkes Bay to Auckland and back to collect as many caches as we can. Log signed as b&p.Tftc
1920 Had walked this some time ago on my last geotrip to Cambridge. There has been quite a bit of work done since my last visit.
Arrived here to complete my walk. Great views over to the river. A favourite from me for the nice trip along this trail. Tftc.
I have had a lovely walk along the river but this is as far as I will go. Time to get back home. Tftc
Having a geocaching day with Grizlenz and Nahkins. #7 for the day. Easy find now we know what we looking for.
Another day out and about to tick some caches off my list. Companions were NZPatoto & GrizleNZ
This was 8 of 10 for me today. Lovely gardens to walk through.

Very nice walk along the very high banks of the Waikato
the view of the river and the houses perched on the other side was stunning

Very interesting to see the river from this side, and all the properties not visible from the town side. Well worth the walk, especially on such a nice day. We saw tuis and partridges. Cache was nicely tucked away. TFTC
This cache was one of the many caches we found on our 6 day campervan journey from Tauranga to Lower Hutt via Waihi, Cambridge, New Plymouth and along the west coast to Wanganui and back to the Hutt. A mighty and enjoyable journey which took us to many great and iconic parts of the north island and of course some great geocaches. Many thanks to the many CO's for the great cache placements and for bringing us to so many new places. Nice little series. Sorry about the generic log but 200 plus to log. TFTC
Checked all round the place then finally my little sister found it good job her TFTC.
Found this 1 with the other meadow walk ones dont know why i didnt log at time.. phone must've gone flat so ill log it now
Looks like a lot of work has gone into this area recently. It's a nice little walk and interesting to see so many trees. There seems to be the start of an orchard a little further down the path. Lucky locals TFTC
3rd find on the lovely meadow walk, easy as. Lots of new trees including natives and exotics, and apples! Unfortunately too early in the season to sample them...
I didn't see any holly but I enjoyed the walk and finding this cache. It was getting pretty warm now.
Cache found quickly and in good condition. Grabbed the pac man TB and left a singaporean coin.
Thanks kyb3r, time to retrace my steps back to the car.

Wow, this area has indeed changed a lot. When this cache was placed this area was merely a grassy field. Updated coordinates and hint.

Gunna log a DNF, 'cause I just DNF it! Scratched around for ages, rechecked coords, looked where no man has looked before ... lol. Lost my mojo on this one I will be back tho'
Fully recommend this walk to anyone who wants something a bit different, really nice way to spend a half an hour. TFTC
What a lovely walk. Never would have come here without geocaching. Great way to get the kids out of the house.
My daughter took me & geopup out to check out the awesome tree huts. While in the area decided to check out the caches. Pup found something stinky & we found the cache TFTC
Had to carry on walking to grab this one while in the area. Was a bit worried when I saw all the fresh planting but cache was safe and sound
Other one found on this walk.
Thanks for bring us out here, a break from study for Mrs Toffeez.

On the way to 'Slice of Kiwiana' geocaching evening in Hamilton and as there were so many interesting caches for us to do in Cambridge we spent the day in Cambridge first. And we're really pleased we did.
This was an interesting place for a cache - lots of new planting, many thanks. We started from Alper's Ridge and enjoyed our little walk.

Another local cache ticked off. A great walk. Thank you for taking us to a new area of our town. Tftc
Found on the roadtrip north. Blue skies, cicadas, beautiful river far below. Thank you for bringing us here. Cheers from Team Bearsleys
Went further along this walk from the other two caches and located this cache. Enjoyed the walk along here. A little overgrown in places. Some sheep kept me company at times. Thanks very much kyb3r
Another nice quick find with TuisReturn.
We enjoyed touring around the area from cache to cache.
