Only had time for a quick peek as the gardeners rocked up. Found some friends though.
Quick find with 2/3 geodaughters having been to craigie leisure centre to hand in some paperwork. Disturbed many sleeping roos!! Tftc
Definitely had roos nearby seeking the shade. Second cache in Perth with the cousins.
Got sick of looking for this one - particularly given size of container and difficulty rating.
Decided today was the day to head into Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park to try and pick up a few in the one day - so far I have only been picking up one a day. So, it's day nine of my trip to Australia from the UK and so time to find cache number 9, and hopefully some more. So far I have been keeping up my Australian streak and hoped that today would be successful so I could continue!
My cousin had pointed out to me that Pinnaroo was a beautiful place and there were kangaroos, though I completely forgot this observation until I was actually in the park. But she was right, it is a beautiful, peaceful place and lovely place to cache.
This is a very reluctant DNF. Considering the size of the cache and the D/T rating - also, looking at the previous logs, I have a feeling that this one might have gone walkies. I might be wrong and just be having a momentary lapse, but I am certain I found where it should have been and exhausted all other possible options. Fingers crossed that it is just me and someone else might find it, but the CO might want to have a sneaky look to just check....

Was going to give this one a miss but we gave it a crack anyway. Cache in good condition and still there TFTC
We spent quite a bit of time looking around here. Didn't find any thing. Can the CO please check as that is 2 DNF's in a row?
The nearby kangaroos made up for the DNF though TFTH

This afternoon I arrived here from Sydney for two weeks holiday. I stays at my friend's place in Padbury. After we had our quick lunch then we arrived here to see my friend's husband grave then we walked down to the GZ and we passed lots of Kangaroos around near here. I found it in a few minutes. Took TB. TFTH SL
A quick find of a well camoed cache. Took some time to check out the contents and signed the log.
When I emerged from the bush lots of kangaroos were grazing on the grass close to GZ.
A great area to find a series of caches and see wildlife up close.

A beautiful spot with lots of Roos lazing about. I really enjoyed my time at Pinaroo with m4yb this morning. Dropped off "Across the Big Pond" TB for it to travel on. Lots of nice sized caches here.
Thanks FrodoRox100.
Thanks FrodoRox100.
Close encounters with the wildlife. Skippy, bunnies and a snake. All part of the fun. TFTC.
First time enjoying this area. But was very peaceful I will have to come back. Taken the Travel Eagle which will now travel with us to Eagle bay to find a nice spot!
Brought up no. 50 with this one. Also dropped off a little eagle which had flown all the way from Toowoomba. Nice to find one after 2 DNFs

Perfect day for a walk in this beautiful park. Lots of kangaroos around... Thank you for the cache.
The log boon was sopping wet so "ask277" and I replaced it. Took New Zealand coin left golf ball. TFTC.
As the name suggests, we saw heaps of wild kangaroos while looking for this cache... although they weren't very wild because they let us get up real close. Even saw one with a tiny joey in its pouch.
Found the cache but as the other posts have already said, the log was soaking wet. There was no way it was going to dry out in the container so took the initiative to remove and replace with another small log in a plastic bag. Will try to dry out the log book at home but at the moment it is like a wad of paper concrete so I think it may need to be binned.
Beautiful spot to visit. tftc.

Very soggy and nothing in it. Left a minion my daughter did Peac when she went to South Padbury so this one was a little special
Hi. TFTC.
Unfortunately the log book was soaked.
So didnt write in it. Might need a new one. I imaging someone hasnt sealed it properly in the past.

Log book is soaked through. Water inside cache. We hid under bushes to try to prevent further damage.
Log book is drenched and cache was found open on the ground. Placed in the right spot.
Log book is wet. Needs replacing. Cache was open on the ground; needed better camoflaging
Great hiding place. Unfortunately wet, so couldn't sign log. Left a little something instead. TFTG
Walked through the children's memorial. Felt very sad. Lots of kangamuggles about as well.
Found it but something got to it and opened it up putting it back together and placing back. Needs new notebook, too wet. Container needs replacing, bit broken and water getting inside
We visited the memorial in our pre-geocaching days (last week) and returned to look for a traceable which was not there. TFTC
This my 2nd to last day in Australia and am trying to put a few more smily faces on the map. Done 5 this morning still pretty hot though. They were mainly in parks were we could walk a bit in the shade. TFTC.
found it. Also found some friendly Kangamuggles, but I am sure they will not tell anyone about it.
