As there's been no cache to find for some time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Passed by this cache today and noted that maintenance had still not been carried out yet. I am concerned that I may not get this up and running again even though I have approached the owner about it on more than one occasion.
Was passing by this cache yesterday and noted that maintenance was still being carried out.
Was passing by this cache today, so called in to see the property owner. Was assured that things would be back to normal at some stage but could not be given a timeframe.
The property owner is still doing maintenance on the area where the cache placement would normally be. When the property owner has completed the maintenance, I will check/replace and enable the cache. Sorry for the wait.
Unfortunately the main player guarding the cache has gone for a walk. Hopefully this is only temporary. I will have to make some enquiries about when the cache will return.
Have made enquiries and was told the main player would return after xmas.

Ha, ha should have just read the whole thing and would have found it quickly as we did originally guess where it would be but decided to gather all the clues first. Thanks Dave
#4863. Interesting multi. Quick find after business hours in the rain. TNLNSL. TFTC.
[green] Here with popmac on a geocaching / daffodil trip. Popmac grows daffodils and is taking a bunch to a daffodil tournament thingy in Gisborne with plans to cache along the way, and I came along for the ride.
For some strange reason I was expecting a marae here. Which didn't look likely as I was approaching the cache. The image on the stone also surprised me, but since then I have found other references to the Maori and pakeha faces - the two Josephs, for instance. Found the cache without the hint, but had a look at it anyway - with the hint would have been faster! I was fooled for a spell with a marking on the lamp post that perfectly matches a fake wall outlet cover cache - as though there used to be a cache there but that is now missing.

I found it! Lucky I am short. I didn't need a hint either. And I am only 6 years old! My brother just sat in the car.
Nice cache to fill in a quite Sunday afternoon. We were going to do this cache without hints, A, B's, C's or help from logs etc. I went in one direction and Ry and Li went the other and as usual they scored the find in quick time. TFTC Cheers SiLiRy

We just had enough time to complete one last multi before dinner, found a convenient parking spot nearby, the cache was located before all the questions were answered. Nice placement, an interesting and fun multi to complete, many thanks for setting this one up.
We have logged this cache as part of 12-12-12: A Challenge? http://coord.info/GC42CNY

great to see a bussiness with a tidy and interesting entrance way a easy find in good company of 3ds of gissy
A straightforward find at an interesting location, after answering the necessary questions, although in retrospect, the hint was probably sufficient. TFTC
FTF at about 12:55.
I guessed where the cache would be when I arrived, but I answered the questions anyway, just to be sure.
While I was standing at the stone, a man, who I assume was the owner of the business arrived and asked me what I was doing. I explained to him that I was geocaching, which he didn't seem to know about. But he told me all about the carvings and the stone.
After that I followed my GPS to the cache, which was a quick find.
No problems finding a legal park just down the road from the cache.
Nice hide.
Thanks.
