Logs
A cache find is always a nice welcome to a new State.
I'm travelling from Australia with GoodLook, and for close to a month we have driven more than 5500 miles in our rental car whilst caching around the USA and parts of Canada. Stand out moments have included a boat trip in Georgia on Lake Lanier; completely filling my Jasmer Grid (which is not possible to do in Australia); dropping into the ASPGB Mega in New York; socialising at various events; catching up with family friends; attending the GeoWoodstock 2018 Giga; caching in specific US States meaning that I have now cached in all 50 States plus D.C.; and of course the fun involved whilst caching with geo-buddies. What a wonderful adventure it has been!
Thanks for the cache

Welcome to South Carolina. Starting to get through a few or your states.
Another huge rest stop, this one probably half the size of my suburb back home in Australia. Cache was found ok and it was then off up the other hill for a couple more in the area.
Thanks for the fun....and greetings from Australia.

First South Carolina cache. Number 73 on our trip from VT to AR. Fourth cache on the way home with Hoytchargervt.
Found easy. Getting better at locating. Left tiny swag.

Visiting from CA and caching our way from Atlanta to Asheville NC. This our first SC cache. TFTC.
Almost walked right into a spider while on my way to get this cache. Just moved him aside and then was able to make the grab. TF placing this cache here.
Todays goal was to make "Octopus Garden" (GC70) my find #3000 and to chase cars on the highway with my motorcycle...there are enough miles between Atlanta and Charlotte so chasing cars was not a problem
I still needed a few cache finds so that #3000 worked out as planned and looked last night up which caches would be on the way, came across this one so I parked my motorcycle on my way to Charlotte not too far away from GZ, took a short walk to GZ where I found the cache without any problems and signed its log before enjoying the view for a moment and returning to the rest area.
Thx for showing me that part of the rest area and of course...
