Parked up right beside GZ and gave it a good search, before the engineer pointed out that the power pole has been recently replaced after being 'skittled' along with half of the fence behind it.
Unfortunately it appears their has been an accident here recently and the power pole that contained this cache has been replaced with a brand new one, no sign of the cache anywhere
While passing by this way (we had come across from Highway 1) I just had to make a quick stop for a find to help remember this part of our trip with. A quick find after not noticing it on the first pass - SL. Really good 'camouflage'. Thanks to wasa & chec for the cache.
#3993. The last day of my short visit to Auckland and closing in on 4000 finds. Decided a trip up north was in order to pick up a special cache. Just needed to find 14 other caches on the way. Parked close by and once I had worked out where the cache was hidden, made a snappy find. Signed the log and replaced where found. Thanks for the cache.
Again drove past this one when I was on the right side of the road, however very light traffic allowed me to cross the road for a quick find.
Found on our travels down the west coast. Thanks wasa & chec for another smiling face.
Heading north today with the intention to hike around somewhere; still mulling over the options. But, no reason to not stop along the way. I parked up next to GZ and executed a super quick find. Formalities completed, it was back on the road again. Cheers for the cache placement!
Today was another nice day for our holiday trip in new zealand were we of course also found some caches along the way.
Today we took a trip from kerikeri back to Auckland.
This is one of them. thank you for maintaining this cache.

We are on our way from Auckland to the north. The landscape is very varied and the streets go up and down. Of course, we had to sign the one or the other cache, of course. A nice area.
Many thanks to the owner and many greetings from Germany the Moorhelmis

Nice stop in the middle of somewhere, plenty of traffic on the road but there is room to pull over safely here northbound so that is what we did. Interestingly someone else liked the idea too as two other cars also pulled over. Geocachers? No just wanted to have a chat about something (not to us, to each other). They were engrossed so we grabbed the cache and got it replaced while they were chatting. TFTC.
A nice quick find thanks.
Next part of the holiday, up to Whangarei and points North. Time to find a few little boxes.....
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Found while on drive to the very north of the island. A nice and easy cache and dash, with very easy nearby parking. TFTC TNLN SL
Out on a tiki tour. Quick stop in the middle of somewhere. Quick find. SL. TFTC.
Heading home from a long weekend this was available as a quick stop and grab. A straight forward find but the local farmer in his tractor doing a clean up was a bit suspicious of just what we might have been up to. Fortunately we were not there too long.
When I moved forward on my way northwards I suddently found myself in the middle of somewhere. What should I do? Well, just stop for a little while and pick up a little cache. And I was successfull.
Thanks a lot for the cache.

StreetWalker was navigating, and he did very well here - got me to park the car about a metre from the cache! A real drive by, and a nice easy find too. TFTC.

On our way north for new years celebrations with friends at Atiu Creek Regional Park for a couple of days. As we decided to take the alternative route north through SH16, we also stopped to collect caches along the way! Had a lovely drive along here and found some really clever caches with some wonderful views. TFTC!
On our way to Atiu Creek Regional Park with Newlynnfam to meet other cachers for some camping. Stopped off along the way to do some caching.
Very crafty hide.

On way up north with UncleSamNZ to go camping over the New Year period with some of our caching buddies (Team SEAC). Turned out that we were way ahead of everyone else in terms of our ETA, so we decided to stop off to do some caching.
Cool hide.... luckily we had seen a few of these before, so knew what to look for!!!! Love these types of containers, though... thanks for the effort gone to!

Well, todays weather forecast was for rain, all day, and they got it right. Very right indeed. I don't know about a cache mobile, today a waka would have been more fitting or even an ark. Got enough piggies and puppies to exceed the two by two rule too.
Target for today was a couple of letterboxes, a few unique Southern minutes of degrees for a challenge cache I'm creeping ever closer to achieving and anything else that I decided to stop in the pouring rain to try and write and get every single drop of rain down my neck.
Onto the main business of the day. Head along the linking road up to Kaipara Road then back down SH1 via Warkworth and some other places.
Nice and easy here, replaced in colour matching side

thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found on our way back to Auckland. We really enjoyed the many stops along our way. TFTC and greetings from Belgium.
Another quick stop, we have slowly been working our way through these, so a couple more today. Waited for the cars to pass, before crossing to GZ. Oh where oh where can it be! Thanks again for the hide.
Home ward bound after a busy caching weekend with Rustynz, cache number 40 so far. Took my friendly moo cow for a country outting Tftc.
Found with Redants while on our Far North Road Trip to the Winterless North. We found ourselves in some interesting places that we would not have visited had we not been searching for caches. Thanks to all the cache owners.
We found this cache on a 2 week trip around Northland, visiting such locations as Opononi, Kaitaia, Cape Reinga, Russell, among many other places. Somewhere indeed, TFTC
Heading south today finding caches as we travelled along the roads of NZ.
There were some great scenic locations, the country side so lush & green.
Thanks for placing this cache wasa & chec
Quick find with slieschke on our way back from the Mt Auckland walkway. Raining a bit now so we got a bit wet here. TFTC!!!
Found caching in the area with funkymunkyzone after walking the Mount Auckland Atuanui Walkway. Spotted the cache from the road and pulled up right next to it, so nice and quickly found and logged!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Someone had inadvertently assisted by adding some additional camo, but we still found easy enough, tftc
Making our way back home after the Easter Break and decided to break up the journey with a few geocaches.

As the torrential rain fell what dedication I had in retreving the cache! Still got wet but with success, great spot. Ty
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
A nice quick find while in the area this morning, spotting the likely cache hide on approach to GZ. TFTC!

Weather was not up to much today it stopped us looking for another cache earlier today. So we fancied a quick stop and grab nearby home. This is the first of these kinds of your caches we've found. They're very inventive and very good. Nice job! Cache is in excellent condition. Tftc.
On our way home to Rotorua after a weekend function and four days of Geocaching.
Seen these before and spotted it as we pulled up. This is Kwik Fix #3 Middle of Somewhere but the log book said it was Kwik Fix #2, so we were a bit confused but a find is a find and we figured it would sort itself out when we found #2.
Thanks wasa & chec. Another smilie on our road south.

And yet another fun grab as we head north today. Thanks for the interesting hide.
This had been our first trip to New Zealand. We spent three weeks here in this amazing country, which is unfortunately quite a short time. We saw a lot of gorgeous places, met very friendly people, could see the different landscapes like deserts, rain forests, glaciers and oceans. And of course animals like Kiwis (never thought that they are so big), dolphins, seals, glow worms, penguins (I love the blue ones). It was hard to say good bye and go back to the winter in Europe.
We hope to come back one time...Greetings from Germany / Switzerland.
On our way back to Auckland we made a stop at this one. Unlike our last Kwik Fix this was a quick find at the given coordinate.
Thank you for maintaining the cache.

Found with the Geo tour North group, in and out of the car so many times that it felt like being in the "Middle of somewhere" wherever that is! The hide was cleverly done, thanks.
[green] Out on the 3 day GeoTour North with ToursDirect, the prelude to the MEGA in Auckland. Fantastic tour, recommend it to anyone (too late!). I surprised only 4 people chose to come along. Today is Day 1. Log signed as GeoTour North, which includes me, Edvern, PageNZ, KittyKatch and GrimRaider.
Fast find here!

Cache #13 on the Geo Tour North. I remember spotting the hint and someone else making the grab. I have no idea where I am except that it is north of Albany. Having lots of fun with the GeoNorthTour team though. TFTC
Moving right along, the team and I (part of Geo Trip North) found, signed and left. t4tc
Found with renelm and Difool, logged as RAD to save log space, time and trees.

Very easy find as we just found one identical a few mins ago. All of us spotted it from the car before we even stopped.
