Today's a road trip to Invercargill to pick up my mate to attend the Mega. I've picked JB up and we're heading back to Dunedin via a few specific geocaches. This one as it's a size 'Not Chosen'. Unfortunately it was not to be. Fortunately we'd scored one down the road, so no biggie.Thanks anyway.

Counted the crowns from one direction: nothing. Counted from the other direction: aah, there it is. TFTC. Glad I had a bit of neoprene to kneel on, the ground is very wet

After much fumbling, walked along and spotted it. Many locals have signed, including two names today! Concealed a bit further back.

Cache 1374 Todays mission to work on the Solstice souvenir so it was a road trip around Southland to try and track down enough caches before the 24th of June In open under. Parked up at GZ and knew where it should be but how far along hmmm looked at clue and spied what I needed to count, headed to the start to count but there was no need, cache was spotable on the way. Cache is in great shape and nice and dry T4TC

Kia ora for the cache.

I'm heading sou'east from Gore in my cachemobile trying to locate and sign off caches in that direction.

It wasn't until I got to the GZ that the clue made sense though I didn't have to count them.

On a caching adventure down south with KJR. KJR started at one end and I started at the other but she was the one that found it first. Was a nice and easy find TFTC

Heading South for some caches to complete the Mystery at the Museum. Had to wait for some muggles across the road to disappear but then with Gadget169 starting at one end and myself at the other we soon had the cache in hand TFTC

Was getting dark. Took a little longer than it should have. Tftc

Started at wrong end I think. Else my counting is getting worse.

After a little look in the dark I found it TFTC with liltuhoe took shell left peg and button

Heute folgt mit Heckenstürmer der zweite Transfertag von Dunedin nach Te Anau. Eine Recht grosse Strecke, bei der wir uns beim Fahren abwechselten. Aber dennoch konnten ein paar Dosen eingesammelt werden.

Day 3 in Newzealand. Today we drove from Dunedin to Te Anau.
A very beautiful Country with lovely places. We were able to find nice Caches and See Lots of interesting places.

Many thanks to all the COs who helped make our geocaching holiday a great success
We left home early April and returned 21 May 2018. We toured from our home base up to a wedding in North Taranaki then carried on heading south right down through wellington and on down the west coast and back up via the eastern side of the alps some times going around in circles. Our aim was to get as many smiley faces on the puzzle caches that we had solved but of course stopping for many traditionals, multies and others as we went. some time we biked the bike trails or walked but mostly by campervan. we enjoyed the quite back country roads, many of them were metal but we just travelled along slowly going from cache to cache. Most caches were in good condition and I will remark if we thought it needs maintence etc.

Cache found in good shape, loaded with trade goods. Took nothing, left googly ring.

The volunteer sirens sounded off just as I found this cache. Could see where the cache was on approach - noted the hint items as I drove off. TFTC # 12,008

Pretty obvious and easy to find. Have covered it bit more. But lovely to explore Wyndham and a lovely day.

A quick find while cruising around Southland today. No searching required as I could see the container from my car. Rehid it a bit better. All in order. TFTC

Heading out past Wyndham to where no cache lives (yet) for a Girl Guide camp. Grabbed this one for my dot day as I passed through. Had to wait for the paper boy to do his rounds as he was just before the corner as I arrived. Way find once out of the car - no need to count for me (just as well as I didn't know what to count!) as I had parked less than 10m from the cache.

My mission is my first 3 day tramp on Stewart Island. The Seagnoid has Xmas off so we are off on an epic adventure with Zara around the South Island. The Seagnoid is navigator and scribe, Zara and I have teamed up and Im cache logger. Its The Catlins to Bluff today, so lets get going!

TaybeeDragon and I are off for a three day walk on Stewart Island. But we have a camper, so once you add in getting there and back, it's a three week trip. Day 9: Catlins to Bluff.

Loved the shell logs, so we added to the theme. Added a favourite just for that . See photo.

Was approaching this one only to have the lawn mower man drive by, so after stoping to do one of the others I can back. Coast was clear so made a quick find

Knew what size but instead of looking for hint objects spotted the cache from road. Brought the clod further around to mask the great big green object visible from the street. Swapped out some toys and the not so appropriate wrapper. TFTC

Out on a caching date with HM for a day. The weather did not look ideal, but it worked out to be perfect for caching since all the 'normal' people stayed inside, leaving us to our enjoyment.
