I am archiving this cache due to the unfortunate lack of action taken to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, cameroncarpet, requesting additional time.Despite ample opportunities provided for the Cache Owner to respond, their silence leads me to the conclusion that the cache has been abandoned. In such cases, archived caches will not be unarchived, and as a result, this location is now open for the placement of a new cache by another interested party. Thanks,BalayangCommunity Reviewer - Australia
###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by cameroncarpet and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

Attempted to find - even sent the small children into the shrubs! No luck! Maybe next time x
Stopped at this cache and spent some time searching around for the correct hinted place but the coords were 16m on the wrong side of the fence, which I wasn't going to cross. The only other place that matched was empty.
No luck finding this little fellow today but I’m curious as to why there is a number of skulls under a nearby tree It was a little spooky seeing them just laying about

Great view, quick find. Contents are a little wet as container doesn't quite seal anymore.
Hubby and I came out at 11pm for this one! Such a gorgeous view - and we even spotted a Tassie Devil next to the roadside on our way! TFTC!
Gps cords are off and hint doesn’t help. Just think “wheres the most obvious spot?” lol
It looks like the geocache has been wet he wasn’t easy fine but the coordinates were out. Found with Angus 88
Working with Geo Maggie3. A previous DNF for me. After reading some activity, we extended the search and found a not so small stump not so near the fence. Tftc
out and about with Lil Rafa caching for the work days. easy find with clues. TFTC TNLN log dry. a new place I have not seen before. meat loaf was on the media player but wrong song.
Thanks for the cache cameroncarpet.
Found this cache today whilst on a short visit to the Launceston area with RLD4963. We referred to previous logs which helped us find this one, it is about 20m away from GZ. As we got out of the car we noticed that a Meatloaf song was playing, but not this song

Wasting some time before a hair appointment came out to find this cache as too it is one of my favourite spots left a 1c coin for a ticket in the log book
Not paying attention and drove passed the stop for this, did a u turn and headed back to Gz.
Coords are definitely out by 15 to 20 meters so led with geocaching nose and located cache

Relatively new fence might have this one on private property now. I did sneak in and GZ was 10m from fence. No luck.
Touring Tassie in our motorhome and finding some caches along the way with scotjohnos. Today was roaming around the Ben Lomond area. TFTC
We're currently spending a week or so in Launceston for a little bit of an end-of-year getaway - well, more a start of year holiday now! Happy new year!
Today's main event was a visit to Tasmania Zoo, always a fun outing with the family while in that area! As is usually the case when out and about in Launceston, SonOfSteel tagged along for the ride - and for a couple of caches!
After arriving back in town with a few spare hours up our sleeve, we figured we might go for a bit of a drive out towards Blessington and pick up a couple of caches along the way!
We didn't have any trouble tracking this one down, fortunately it was in hand pretty quick upon arrival. Unfortunately though, we didn't properly read through the description until afterwards - it does indeed look like there'd be a great view at night, we'll definitely have to be back at night some time!
Thanks for a fun cache and a reason to explore the area!

Just realised that if we can find just a few more caches before the new year that 2019 will be our best caching year so far so out and about to find some more before the deadline. This was the last one we attempted today, coordinates a bit off but reading back through past logs others have said that too. TFTC
Found this cache while out for a drive, thanks for showing Me a really nice spot
Driving back to Launceston after a drive to Ben Lomond for some caching. Stopped by for this cache. TFTC
Yes co-ords way off but after a quick think there was only one possible spot to look. TNLN TFTC!
Well I didn’t win the raffle but I did find the cache

On arrival at gz, I see what people mean by a new fence. Thats on private property I thought. A read through the logs discovered that the cache was a long way from gz and they were correct, if you turn off onto the gravel the cache is there in the stump! A hint for future visitors. TFTC
In Tassie with family doing a short trip around this lovely island. We saw some amazing scenery, wildlife and visited some beautiful places while touring around in our motorhome. I took the opportunity to stop and grab any caches when we could stop. We only had a few DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the trip. We had some fun and laughs along the way.
Yes this would be a great view of a night. Made this a quick find, using the hint.
Thanks cameroncarpet for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

I got out of my car and looked and looked and wondered if the new fence had something to do with my lack of finding this cache; so I gave up, got back in my car, decided to have a last look at some of the logs and realised that the cache was probably some distance from where I was looking, and before I got out, had a quick look of the area and thought no way, but once out and searching again (briefly), the cache was in hand and in a reasonable condition. Thanks for getting me out here, unfortunately I was on my own...maybe next time...TFTC.
Quick find during our drive from Launceston to St. Helens.
Thanks for the cache and greetings from Frankfurt am Main.

Today we decided to visit family in Launceston and turned off the Midland Highway just past Conara to gather a few caches in the Deddington/Blessington/White Hills area and this was one we found. A great view and a very pleasant rural drive. It was mid morning and the frost and ice hadn't melted. Small ponds of water were still frozen solid! Cache was found 20 m from published coords in a fat stump. We wondered what was collecting all the animal skulls under the trees! TFTC
Finding this cache in daylight I didnt see what the view had to offer but it was a quick find all the same, taking less than 8 minutes 28 seconds to find and in fact less than 5 minutes 32 seconds as well, i didnt have to sleep on it or anything.
It's taken me almost a week to get round to writing this log so i didnt even give you an answer in the morning.
Thanks for the cache, I don't think that I can really survive without finding another.
Myself and goose of gooseandegg planned a trip North into the badlands to get some caches to help with our hidden creatures finds, early start for a Saturday with me picking Goose up at around 7 O'clock even with a couple of stops along the way we made good time which helped us to clock up 42 finds on the Saturday and 24 on the Sunday before heading back to the civilised South, getting back in my drive at just gone 6pm with 580kms under my belt, 66 caches in 35 hours while not a bad haul is less than 2 an hour, I must try harder next time!

Given that the name of the cache is an anthem of rednecks world wide,
I suspect that more than one Taswegian was conceived here !! [XX(]
I didn't linger too long with that thought in me head
But the cache was a quick find [^]

Hi there cameroncarpet.
We found your cache **"Paradise by the Dashboard Light"** at 9:52:00 AM today. (This brings our total find count to 18521).
The original plan today was to log a random cache some distance from our camp site, and then find a few more caches using the "next closest" method. We then logged "Ben & Back" & thought why not - we will do that instead - - and we had a great day!
We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey & found 15 caches (& DNF'd 0).
Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 21m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

It was right on the edge of darkness when we pulled up here and it was very very still. We could hear trains tooting over at Western Junction and the lights of the airport looked really bright in the distance. I went up and down the fence line trying to find a thin stump. I had walked past the cache and ignored because it didn't fit the hint. I nearly fell down a pit because the lid was open- that was a little frightening! The egg eventually came over to help and grabbed it immediately. Yeah, the thing I ignored. I agree with Sirius Tas, 'stump' is all that is needed for a perfect hint.
Found after goung around in circles as coords out...plus hint totally out of wack...just 'stump' would've been more appropriate. Tftc..cheets ST.
Stump not as thin as I was expecting, or as close to the fence, but found after backtracking to the road. Nice spot, TFTC 0
Great, now that song is stuck in my head!
Many thanks cameroncarpet from the Wacky one

Great spot, rainy day, everything in cache was soggy. Needs some attention
Found it, may have been spotted by muggles as i'm the least inconspicuous person on the planet
Quick find and sign lovely rural views TFTC
We've now only got five weeks left of our six month stay (til the end of March '16) from the Kurrajong area, (Blue Mountains) NW of Sydney, to tour in the caravan and also visit our kids and grandkids in the Huon Valley On four previous visits before this visit, we were muggles, so we're having fun finding the caches we didn't even know were here!

A nice easy find in the most obvious of spots. Lovely views even though it was near blowing a gale and not too pleasant to be out of the car for long.. thanks..!!
We found this one, however we were reading a 21 metre difference.

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
Being from Perth WA we decided today's caching would be aimed at us visiting Perth TAS today!
Managed to swing past this cache on our drive around.
Well this cache is now 18metres from its GZ. We found the cache in the big stump you see from the road. Co-ords fro us today were s41 30.831 e147 17.514
Looking forward to meeting local cachers at the Event tomorrow.

We found this cache so easily as it was totally exposed. Where we found it did not match the description in the hint and so we think it may have been moved to the more obvious hiding spot. We returned it to where we found it but covered it with some bark. The coords are fine for where it is. Thanks for the cache.
