What a lovely hidden spot! Have driven past this many times but never knew there was such a rock formation here. We parked on Teudts Road, and were able to reach the cache coordinates with a short walk. At first I was a bit wary on whether the cache would still be there, given the last log was dated October 2023. Surprised no one else has visited since then.GPS signal was quite good and led us close to the cache. Hint photo topped it off and helped us find the location and luckily the cache was still there! Container was in good shape and log has plenty of space left. After signing the log we explored the rocks some more before heading back to the car. Many thanks for the cache!Found with TC216.
An old one off the list here today. Parked off the road and was glad for the spolier photo as the mobile coverage was pretty ordinary. Interesting little spot. TFTC!
Found It!

Saturday adventures exploring the area and nearby Penrose State Forest with BarberBlackSheep. What a cool little rock playground! TFTC
Found 25/08/19. Had a quick look around and had the cache in hand within a few minutes, amazing how many times ive driven past this aitw and not checked out yhe geology, almost earthcache worthy.
The parking waypoint should be changed though as its very small and in front of a fire trail gate stating it should be kept clear 24/7. I parked on Teudt Road 150m further on up the road where the yellow flag and signs point iut the Bhuddist Monastery.

Some interesting rock features here, and plenty of possible hidey holes. Found it without much trouble.
Even once you've found the Cache. Climb the rocks and look around. Absolutely beautiful.
Lovely to see a patch of typical sandstone country here,
in which to go for a scramble around
Following the animal trails took me straight to GZ,
for a quick cache find
Gotta be lucky sometimes I guess

After a busy December / January, we decided a trip to the highlands was in order. So after an early start, with Rapidlywild doing the driving honours we headed up the highway. A bit of rain made it quite pleasant, and the sun brought a bit of humidity, but it was a great day. We grabbed a couple of the trails, and was surprised on containers, some took a bit longer to locate than others. Thanks RW for a great day, and thanks to all the CO for the placements, we enjoyed collecting them.
Thanks Pacmania

And so day 2 dawns on our caching long weekend, the bodies somewhat weary from the crow adventure but not to be deterred we set off on another highland adventure. Loving our tour of the area thanks to caching. Unexpected rock formation. Nice quick find. Tftc
Having spent a nervous week waiting for results of my sister who is in hospital in Qld I've struck out to get a few caches and clear my head.
The day started out beautiful and clear but has come over a little cloudy. Hopefully rain will hold off as I make my way towards the coast.
Wow tip rocks has some really impressive structures. I'm sure they would have been used well by the indigenous population. I really must come back here and explore the fire trail properly.
This cache was quickly found in good condition. Tftc

Love it. My hubby walked into a spiderweb but I found the cache. Tftc and a fun little spot to explore.
TFTC. A steamy windy day of inspections ahead with a bit of caching inbetween. Love these out of the way features.
My wife and I met up with bikerbuddy and Toriaz and had a day together in the Southern Highlands. This was our twenty second cache.
WE parked briefly in front of the gate and made a short, quick walk to GZ for an easy find. Lucky, as we left the spoiler photo in the car on our phones!?!

A quick find for us, luckily without need for the spoiler photo. This was a cool set of rocks, thanks for showing us them.

There wasn't a lot of room for two cars here. Canary pulled in, in front of the gate and we followed suite. Then we saw the sign saying not to do that. We decided to make it real quick, which we did. The cache was in the first place I looked. A nice pile of rocks here, we decided, before heading back to the cars and leaving before we annoyed anyone. Thanks
Not the easiest park and get to with kids. Found with the SWAG boys swag.org.au when camping at Gambels Rest Bundanoon. TFTC

1.50pm. A day out of town with DAVINAF to find a few caches. Found a table out of the wind in Bundanoon for our picnic lunch. Then on again and a quick find here.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
A nice walk in the bush wouldnt be doing this one in summer but a love formation found with nodo
Thank you for a wonderful cache I thoroughly enjoyed your cache and the rocks. Log signed and replaced cache.
Last night a last minute plan was hatched to take a caching run to Nowra! So this morning we (Tankengine and I) headed off bright and early! Had a great run, through the Southern Highlands and down the escarpment into Nowra. Found a total of 35 caches, and 2 DNFs. Cant complain about that. Love this corner of Australia - thanks Tankengine for the compant, and thanks for the cache! Both Tankengine and I were impressed with this location.
Really cool rocks here! Favourite from me.

An interesting set of rocks. Got caught on old barbed wire and tripped over a log, but eventually found it. TFTC
Thank you for the cache. Log signed and cache replaced. *OCW Throsbyonchurch*.
Found -- 2:10 PM -- SL TFTH. Thanks for bringing us here to this location Pacmania.
Cache in good condition. Weeeelllllll... it's coming up to our two year caching anniversary and I have finally put my preconceived ideas of this location behind me and tackled the quest to find the cache. Everything about this cache was not as I thought. It was easy and a lot of fun. I love this kind of cache hide and to think I once said I hated bush caches. There were derrieres in the air, heads under rocks and NO cache to be seen anywhere. We were beginning to think it had been muggled but wondered how that could be, and then just as my head was passing another overhanging *Sprout One* rounded a corner and I heard the words *Found It!* echo through the trees. Woo hoo. I have passed here a lot and stopped a couple of times but never passed the gate. Today was a new day and looking for a little Sunday afternoon entertainment, especially as the sun was now beautifying the landscape and there were three caches up for grabs down *Highland Way,* I decided to head out and seek them out.
3 = 3 and 0 DNF

Out to visit a venue in the southern highlands so a few caches to find as well.
A surprising little bush walk and clamber up.
Thanks for this hide.

Took me a little while to find. Spoiler photo hard to see on my small cheap phone and I ended up looking on the wrong side of the rocks.

Had been in Sydney for a Dr appt. needed a caching fix so headed along the back roads home. This was my 7th find. Tripped and fell over some barbed wire whilst trying to access gz the wrong way. My advice....Stick to near the gate. Found and signed in blood lol
Thank goodness Pa was with me for this caching trip as I doubt I would have found this cache by myself. All good and after signing duties were completed the cache was returned to its hidey hole
Thanks for another cache in the area Pacmania.

Having just come from the recent M&G in Wingello State Forest, we decided to do a few caches on our way back to Sydney. OCW Aries44 and delloro.
This was #3. Such interesting caves and crevices so close to the road. MrD was in his element here! TFTC.

Grabbing a few on the way home saw us scrambling up the slope and without the help of the "spoiler" the spelunker in our midst was soon on the money and we did the necessary. TFTC Pacmania.

Find No: 5470. Visiting from Newcastle to attend the Wingello event, top spot, gets a favorite, thanks for the cache Pacmania!!
Tftc,
Visited many Trackables gathering for a trip to the Red Centre experience GC6825Z at Alice Springs in April.
We arrived on Friday night and stayed in the area to attend the Sunday breakfast event GC6Y0R5 arranged by Seemyshells. This was a great chance to meet cachers I haven't spoken to before and chat with others I have come to know well. Great to see Chalk win the lucky draw prize. Given her family contacts I can see it becoming a very interesting cache. It all came to an end to soon and it was time to head home finding a few more caches along the way after being away for 2 weeks.
This was my first of 6 caches on our way home. It has left me feeling like I need to return soon to get a lot more in the near future. A great area to visit and cache.

Well I was going to give this cache a bit of a serve as I thought - why the heck would you take us to a tip! However as we took a bit of a left turn these magnificent rocks suddenly appeared and - yep - this is a good cache location indeed. Found the cache in the first spot that I noticed which is also a bonus.
Thanks Pacmania.
Feedback: Desrves a FP for the surprise.

I'll give you this Tip, it is definitely there among the Rocks, but please don't leave any Rubbish like some people have! TFTC Pacmania
Heeded the signage to not block the gate however the quick scramble and find in an obvious spot meant I could have risked a quick Park and Grab rather than stop further along the road where it was safe to pull over.
Today I score the day off,so it was caching time for me )
I starting not far past Fitzroy falls, working my way across to Wingello, over to the Hume, back up to the Illawarra hwy then finishing at Mossvale.
Once underway I was in the zone,It was one of those days when everything just fell into place,
I managed to find all the caches I had in my sights with no DNFs plus picked up a few extras on the side ,A total of 38,my best day yet!,37 Traditions and I squeezed in 1 multi along the way,not a bad days effort.
Thanks to all the COs for such an awesome day, every cache I found was in great condition

#825 Twentieth of twenty four finds on a beautiful Sunday's caching around the Southern Highlands. Nice quick find after a short search. TFTC
I found this one by accident while in the area for some rock climbing. It's been years since I've done any caching but the hide caught my eye and sure enough, the familiar sight of a clip lock container was under there. I won't count this as a "find", because I wasn't looking for it, but nice to see it here.
Out and about with Happy Uke today for some long overdue caching.
Once again caching took us to a wonderful spot we otherwise would have never visited.
This place rocks!
Thanks!

I haven't been geocaching for a while due to one thing or another, so Finalf29 decided to get me out and about and clear my head. It was the best thing for me...beautiful day, always excellent company and I'm in a much better positive space. Got fourteen today, I love geocaching!
This was my fourth for the day. I LOVE scrambling over rocks. I want this outcrop in my backyard, but Finalf29 didn't think it would fit in the car. Our GPS's were a bit bouncy and we didn't have the "clue photo", so we spit up and had a good look around in all the likely spots. In a short time it was found. Fav point from me because it gave me a chance to do a spot of rock scrambling. Thanks

Cripes, that parking area was not really suited to accomodate our mortorhome. Plus, we can never bring ourselves to block a gate access, even for just a few minutes. So it was a panic scramble & search & the hide thankfully revealed itself just as we hit our "we give up" moment. Thanks Pacmania.
Fun scramble over the rocks, very pretty spot that I wouldn't've noticed unless looking for a cache! The spoiler photo was a real help though - cache was quite well hidden! tftc
My GPSr took me past the cache, and then swung me back to GZ for an easy find.
Decided to give this one a miss after seeing the terrain & the way I was dressed. Another day.
Visited the Southern Highlands today, & found some really lovely places, this being one of them. Very cool spot, Tftc Pacmania xo
