We searched for a long time without finding it neither understanding the 101 trick...is it still present ?
Coords don't seem to be great - my GPS put the near end of the nearest footbridge as 26 - 36m away from GZ. Couldn't see anything at ground zero but accuracy plummeted at the undergrowth thickened. Oh well... Greetings from England!
Looked as best we could for this one, but the muggles were in high volume today which meant we did not hang around for long
Sun bathed on a warm boulder when muggles were coming through, and searched feverishly when there was a break between the on coming traffic. Unfortunately, no cache could I find.
During my 4 week trip through NZ I also had the chance to find this cache!
I did a 20 kilometers walking trip at the coastal track and found some nice caches. I had a really nice day...

Found during beautiful track in Abel Tasman National Park. Fortunately no muggles around this several minutes, so logged without problems. Nice cache, thanks.

Found on our walk out of the park. Our coords were well out and we though there must be another bridge further down the track leading down to the coast. It wasn't to be so back tracked and went on our instinct. Bingo there she was ! Thanks Biggles for the cache. Great to see caches on the main track.
Can't walk the Abel Tasman hike without at least one cache. This one was the most convinient. Easy found at a nice place. Thanks.
Took the aquataxi to anchorage and wlked back to Marahau. First I did not find it so I went to the beach, there i actually read the description and some logs. Togehter with the hint that was sufficient to find the cache, because the coord were not as they were way off..
Thank you for the cache, my first at the south island

Found on a day walk from Marahau to the Anchorage and back to find some of the caches along the way. A quick find at a morning tea stop. Signed log, TFTC
A nice place to take a rest. The logbook is totally wet. We tried to dry it a bit in the sun. TFTC!
During my 5-day hike of Abel Tasman (inland and coastal) track, I found this cache.
Perfect sunny day for hinking and caching.
Nice and good hiding place, I only have discovered thanks to the hint (because my coordinates were considerably off)!
However, due to the rain in the last days the log was quite wet, but I was able to log myself ...
TftC from Austria!

Found together with Mishelin during our holiday in New Zealand. During the three weeks we traveled north and south of the island we found many caches. This was one of them. New Zealand is wonderful part of the world, especially Abel Tasman NP. I hope I'll be able to ever visit. Maybe next year? Thanks for bringing us to this amazing place, this cache and sorry for late log.
Found during our long walk in Abel Tasman NP. It is really awesome place and I hope I will have the change to come back at least once more! Thanks for the cache.
We started from marahau to do the whole coastal track hopefully with sun and in three days. The time was doable but the sun was hardly with us. Anyway it was a great tramp and good fun. We enjoyed this nice cache it is nice along the way to stop and find something. This cache was easy to find.
Thank you very much for it

GPS wanted us down the side track, but logic prevailed. Understood and signed the cache. Onwards.
We went down to the beach first, then shot back up to evade muggles that looked like they were also about to go up. I searched around where the GPS's indicated while Mporokosa used intuition and discovered it in a place about 20 metres away. (we checked several times in case it was just interference from trees but the readings were consistent.) TFTC
What started off as a foggy, misty morning turned out to be a beautiful day to kayak! Made some pit stops to find a couple caches along the way. Shame we couldn't travel further. TFTC!
Found this Cache on my hike through the park!

We put the box back where the description and hint indicates best.

I left my kayaking crew eating cake on the beach and had a really good look for this one even though there was super high muggle traffic and I had to keep pretending I was taking photos haha. I wonder if a taniwha has grabbed this with all the rain last week?
Well, this was interesting. I was walking along the track and suddenly see an older couple standing with a little sistema container. They looked kind of lost as they were looking inside the container. I stopped and they said they found the container sitting in full view on the rocks at the little bridge. They didn't have a clue what it was. I then explained what it was and we decided it had been muggled as there was lots of bad language written in the little book. The couple then left me to hide it somewhere safe. That's where another problem arose. I didn't have any info about this cache, apart from the gps coordinates, so didn't know where I should hide it!! I then just followed my gps and hid it as close to where my gps said I should be. Reading about the cache now I realise it is not where it should be! I walked a little way down the path to the beach and hid it under some leaves just off the path on the right at about waist-chest height. Hopefully the next person can find it and place it a bit closer to where it is supposed to be.
Thanks:)
Thanks:)
Was there together with "Schlattergeiss"...

Bullertrout beat us to this one too, by a couple of hours I reckon! So then Hazzfnz and I had to fight it out as to who got to sign the book first. Hazz was physically of better proportions than moi for scoring the prize, plus he's much better at grovelling than me! Consequently he got to put his scribble in first....no competition in this family!!!
I had figured this cache would be easy to find, what with it being right by the main trail. I hadn't bargained for the contortions required to extract the log, in the end we had one of the geokids stretched full length to reach the right spot. Our second FTF made it all worthwhile. TFTC
