I struggled to identify one of the tracks but got there in the end. It was all quiet around GZ today so it made signing nice and easy tftc
Day 2 of a successful caching weekend for Jojo and I in Nelson. Weather not the greatest but the rain held off, and today we went a little more urban than cross country so we were able to keep dry. Very impressed with the engineering and ingenuity of the caches we have encountered, and we'll be giving up a fair few of our hard earned favourite points in recognition. 46 caches collected- some very specifically for challenges, and only a few DNFs. But the main thing is we had fun . Sorry about the cut and paste and thanks to all COs.
Nice puzzle, at GZ we had to wait 5 minutes for a couple out walking to pass and double back before making the grab. Found cache exposed in the field so placed and his as we thought it should be. TFTC Mrs Belt Family.

A Sunday unexpectedly up my sleeve, mrs capperz at work for the morning, nightowl19 round a friends house and just me and Tally the dog with (potentially) a whole day to kill time. Only one thing for it then, a trip 'over the hill'. On the list of wants was a full set of 8 recently listed eggs and a second look at some caches that last time I came were either missing, or I missed when looking. I've got a whole collection of solved puzzles burning a hole in my G P S too so keen to turn them into smilies if possible. Some I've had solved since prior to moving down here to the Mainland so keen to convert.
All up a successful trip; 35 caches found, 18 puzzles and 17 traditional caches. All 8 eggs were cracked, including a dirty half dozen before noon, got all the numbers required and will go for the final another time. A lovely sunny day today to herald the change of daylight saving and my smoke alarm tested itself, at 0430 this morning!!

Having solved this musical puzzle quite some time back I made sure I earned the smilie today. Thanks for the cache.
Always nice to get a puzzle sorted out and even nicer to get to GZ to find it quickly. Cheers.
A few tunes in there that I wasn't familiar with, but only one that really gave me any grief. Soon found away around finding what I needed though. A nice quick find at GZ today. TFTC
TFTC. Out to play for the weekend with the destination of Nelson. Caching crew on board were Karma Reprint, Team_Gaters and TheWanglers, logged as PKTT for this trip. Gosh did we have fun looking for caches, most of which we found, in this very beautiful part of our country.
We are moving into the puzzle heaven zone of our caching adventure. Four very excited kids!!
Thanks beltfamily for creating the puzzle and placing the cache.

On a big mission up to Nelson over Show Weekend with Purdiepurdie, Karma Reprint and Team_Gaters we signed our cache finds as PKTT the 'power packet' but we called ourselves the 'G4'. We headed off on Friday morning at 4.30am and made our way to Nelson today. We drove heaps, laughed heaps, found heaps of caches and poke our noses here and there. It was a great day we didn't stop until about 9.30pm for a cuppa and relax and getting ready to do it all again tomorrow!
Quick one... onto the next.
Thanks for the cache.

#7710. Was out this way on the bike as Troodles streak-cache-of-the-day was nearby. I took the chance to find this one while we were in the area. TFTC.
I have to admit that music is not my forte but somehow managed to identify all the songs. The co-ordinates quickly followed.
A grey overcast day with the promise of rain, so I set out on my bike for my cache of the day. I had plans A, B and C which were in decreasing distance from home. Passed plan C then plan B, and still no rain so was pleased to make it here. No-one about so able to make a quick find. Surprised that the cache has had no visitors since October last year, and is in good order. Covered it a little better then headed back home. Still no rain so made it back without getting damp.
Thanks Mrs Beltfamily for the puzzle and the cache. Day #56 of my streak.

One of the first puzzles we solved prior to our trip to Nelson. Ihad done something similar in ChCh without knowing about this one so simple to complete and the find was bag on. TFTC
Oh dear had the puzzle solved and location loaded on iPhone, headed to GZ went to select co-ords and iOS7 turned into the enermy and promptly deleted it. Back home to get the numbers and then a find in the rain.
Great puzzle.

Really enjoyed solving this puzzle, learning new skills in the process. Have been saving it up "just in case" I might need it one day, but enough's enough. Time to collect it today. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
This puzzle was solved some time ago so today we decided a quick detour after watching grandson play rugby was convenient. A short wait while cycling muggles disappeared and the cache was quickly found and signed. TFTC.
A short detour only after watching some junior footie to get a smilie today. TFTC
Really enjoyed these music challenges and solving the puzzle but it took me a lot longer to get out this way to make the find. Worth a late favourite. TFTC
Heading home to CHCH after a wee holiday to catch up with Mr G's brother who's visiting from Oz. A fun puzzle which was quick to solve, just a wee detour as we were heading out of town. A quick find and sign once a couple bike muggles weaved their way past. Cheers. I seem to think too, for some reason, today I signed all my logs the 5th of May?! dur.
Having listened to this "track" a couple of times, this puzzle was moved to the too hard basket. Events are so worth going to. I heard about an app which meant that being tone deaf was no longer a stumbling block. Turned out to be a bit of fun in the end
Called by today to collect. Now I suppose I'll have to have a look at 201.

Decided to head out to Waimea West this evening and had a few minutes to check for puzzles whilst Kitty! was getting ready. In the end she had to wait for me, I only knew one of these songs. Quick find in a spot I biked past a few weeks before. tftc!
Solved this tuneful cache earlier this year and decided to call in and log it today. TFTC #4524
Identified the songs, and quickly rcognised how to extract the coords. (If only 102 was as straight forward [it would be 101a]!)
In Nelson today picking up some solved puzzles, and this was our last find of the day. Thanks.

Another puzzle I can actually solve! I solved it last night and we decided to find it after we found The Sound of Music 201. Quickly found and signed. Took TB. TFTC.
Between memory and Google the puzzle was fine. We did want a cache for New Years day, but it had been very busy so it was an evening outing. After muggles had us moving on from another, this filled the bill nicely.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Music and Mr KE are like chalk and cheese so very surprised to be following the FTFers to this one. I managed to work out enough of the numbers yesterday without recognising any of the music and got the geochecker to confirm I was right. Showed Mrs KE my answers this morning and played her the sounds. She instantly recognised the first one that I still didn't have! Then she also gave me the answer to the other one I was missing! What?!? Where was she when I was doing it the hard way? Stopped by to make the find on our return from Rabbit Island this afternoon. Thanks Mrs beltfamily for hiding this one.

FTF with my dad it was great my dad solved the and then me AND my dad found it thank you beltfamily.
FTF (Shared the FTF with Flying Phoenix) Nice one! Just noticed that this is my 300th FTF! A nice milestone cache to just about end the year with then. A nice straightforward musical puzzle which I could solve with a bit of help from google. Some familiar and not so familiar sounds in the mix but it all made sense in the end so after a successful geocheck it was off to GZ. Slightly surprised to find a blank log which was a real bonus for us. TFTC, Biggles.
