Sorry to say it's missing, hiding place has been hit by a car and nothing inside. Previous finder confirmed

Although I solved this musical puzzle nearly a year ago, today was the first occasion I have had to get my credit. However, although I searched for well over 15 minutes I was unable to locate the cache. Sad

TFTC. Out to play for the weekend with the destination of Nelson. Caching crew on board were Karma Reprint, Team_Gaters and TheWanglers, logged as PKTT for this trip. Gosh did we have fun looking for caches, most of which we found, in this very beautiful part of our country.

Thanks BigglesNZ for creating the puzzle and placing the cache.

On a big mission up to Nelson over Show Weekend with Purdiepurdie, Karma Reprint and Team_Gaters we signed our cache finds as PKTT the 'power packet' but we called ourselves the 'G4'. We headed off on Friday morning at 4.30am and made our way to Nelson today. We drove heaps, laughed heaps, found heaps of caches and poke our noses here and there. It was a great day we didn't stop until about 9.30pm for a cuppa and relax and getting ready to do it all again tomorrow!
Quick one... onto the next.

Thanks for the cache.

Canterbury Show Weekend so headed North to Nelson for a fun caching 3 day weekend with TheWanglers, Karma Reprint & Purdiepurdie......for speed, efficiency & to prevent RSI we signed our logs PKTT.
This took a bit of solving. I had the music sorted quickly but couldn't get the digits - it wasn't until I revisited an idea I had in the beginning, and using a different website with slightly different ideas, that I made the solve. Nice. We hit GZ with minutes to spare before it would have been rather tricky to find! Luckily it was quick to find and we moved off before mayhem ensued! LOL. Cheers.

A quick find on the mission.

Found on a mad mission to Nelson with PurdiePurdie, Team Gaters and the Wanglers. Started Friday @ 0430am and finished Sunday 1830. Plenty of fun, caching and well more fun!
Signed the log PKTT

Thank you very much for the hide.

#7784. Troodles found this cache earlier in the week. We were passing en route to the Aniseed Valley, so stopped by for me to do the paperwork. This one took quite a while to solve; good to get the paperwork done. TFTC.

Solved for some time. After some maintenance close by there was a perfect opportunity to tick this one off. TFTC

This has been solved for some time but whenever we have been past GZ it hasn't been prudent to look for the cache but tonight there was no reason not to. It was very soon found and the log signed. TFTC.

Just realised I have dated the logbook with the wrong date, thought it was Thursday today Red Face.
This puzzle caused us a few headaches. First, one of the songs proved difficult to identify so an SOS to someone who enjoys that type of music resulted in success.
Now we had all the notes, we were unable to assemble a pleasing symphony. Tried all manner of approaches. Finally a hint was sought, after that the geochecker approval was gained. Interestingly enough, I had a feeling that GZ would be around here.
Decided this time of the year would be a good time for a visit to GZ, even so was a busy spot and had to wait for a lull in the traffic before both retrieving then replacing the cache. Can report that the cache and contents were in excellent condition after 6 months of non-activity. Thanks for day #78 of my streak.

I just loved Sound of Music 1. Learned some new technology and soon had the answer in hand. Had a wee spot of bother with the twist in this one though. - - - Finally - - - got it!!! Then attempts at GZ were thwarted by cycle race officials. Finally remembered to return today and soon tracked down the prize. Thanks for the puzzle and the hide!!!! Big Grin Merry Christmas!!!! Hmmm, I could hear the melody, but just couldn't sing along in the right key, Topgear gave me a retune, then I was pitch perfect.

The hills are alive ..........Smile tra la la
After finding the answer for 101 it was only a matter of time and maybe a wee nudge Red Face
Today is a "date" day so today was the day. Nice and quiet at GZ on this day too which was a bonus.
Thanks for the cache Mrs B, it has given me some more musical options on my iPad.

Solved this one not too long after its release date but has taken a while to get around to making the final find. Really enjoy these music ones so worth a Favourite to me. TFTC

Nice quick find at gz; cache was in the first place I looked, which was not the same situation as when I was looking for the answer to the puzzle. Prompted me to change the cds in the car though. Good one, thanks.

This one was almost an unfinished symphony. I got the first movement quickly enough but then it became an unchained melody. Definitely not a one note samba here. For a while I just thought to myself, I can't get no satisfaction, but hang on help is on its way, with a little help from my friends, I could finally say hello, goodbye to the puzzle and find the cache. TFTC, Biggles.

A quick find on the way home from Lake Rotoiti. Still no idea how to make the music sing to me but with the cache and coordinates now in hand perhaps I will figure it out. Thanks Mrs Beltfamily for hiding this one.

Google tells me that the dropbox error message is received when the dropbox site is down. If anyone is having trouble retrieving the music file, please don't hesitate to send us a message and we will forward the sound file to your email!

Have had a lot of issues with listening to the sound clip in both the prior and this cache. Are others having the same? Latest attempt gave me this from simething called Dropbox: "Error Something went wrong. Don't worry, your files are still safe and the Dropboxers have been notified. Check out our Help Center and forums for help, or head back to home."

FTF!!! Big Grin Found at 10.20am. Wow this is my kind of puzzle, one I can actually solve! A quick solve last night, I knew most of the songs and google helped with the rest. Quick find between traffic with Miss 7 this morning. Thanks for the puzzle and cache, had fun solving it. Smile

Between memory and google, identifying the songs was fine. Getting the right co-ordinates from them took a more concerted effort. Found a nice set - but geochecker said we had the wrong key. Found the right one and it sung out success.
A nice evening after a not so nice day so we had a drive with a double purpose. We remember another cache near here that was much harder to find, although oddly that was a faster solve, so pleased to get the timing right for this variation.
Thanks.
