Q: why did Chelle & Apty cross two lines of busy highway?
A: to get to a geocache (of course!)
...only it's not there, we're really sure [xx(] Hasn't been found since July. CO should check.

Stopped here on our way back from the Surf Coast Mega Event in Anglesea Victoria, and was hoping for a quick find given this is a medium sized cache. Ran across four lanes of Freeway to the GZ and searched the tree, shrubs and stop sign without success. Was surprised that a medium sized container would be so hard to find when there are not that many hiding places! Oh well, I'll try again another day, maybe with some extra pairs of eyes.
Ups... I missed to log this find for a looooong time ago
This was as usual, a long caching day. We found many different types of caches and many new places for us to see and explore, with the company of Locus Cache and my partner Jan, we did have a lot of fun, claimed some walls, got wet, saw many different types of birds and took lot of pictures

An easy pull over and time to get changed into some warmer clothes - great to find a cache here, nice easy pick up after pouring out the water, opened the container, signed the log and on our way. TFTC.
Nice and easy hide on my way home! Contents in good condition. Thanks for the hide
Quick find while on the drive over from Adelaide to Melbourne.
Thanks for the cache Cashar1966

Great quick stop and find, although my gps jumped around a bit for some reason. Loved the cache container.
We are on our way from Adelaide to Melbourne so decided to do some caches on the way. This was a quick find as the cache was lying out in the open. After signing the log we hid the cache better than how we found it. TFTC
Out with sir_spectre and jacknor on a 24hr caching run. Most caches were found easily and some a b8t trickier. Thanks to the many CO'S for placement of caches.
So I was feeling a bit 'Little Miss Tired' today after a late night and early morning.....and then driving from Adelaide to Mt Gambier.
However, since it was a beautiful day for a drive I began to feel more like "Little Miss Sunshine" by the time I reached this location.
Despite the strong smell of urine and the yucky rubbish around, I pulled on some gloves, grabbed a bag and spent a few minutes clearing some of the rubbish - sorry but lots of rubbish still remains - I barely scratched the surface......
'Little Miss Clean-up" then tapped something with a big stick that sounded like a cache.....YAY!!!
As I was travelling solo to GZ today there was no "Mr Happy" in the car, but there was certainly a "Little Miss Happy" once the log had been signed, the cache returned and camo applied.
Please note, the cache is under a fair bit of camo so use your stick to scratch about.

Being from Central Victoria we have spent the week in Mount Barker for the Tour Down Under Bicycle Event.
Today was the last day for the TDU in Adelaide and we are now heading home. This is our last cache find for this years Tour Down Under Trip. A good place to stop and have a short break to stretch the legs before continuing on our long journey home. A quick find.
Dropped off two trackables that have been travelling with us for some time now.

After a few months of planning, and trial runs I finally attempted and complete my goal of doing a 24 hour SOLO cache run!!!
One Man, One Day, 441 caches found!
I booked two nights at Murray bridge and arrived at 8:00 pm. Attempted without success to sleep until 11:30 pm then got up and went to the location of the first cache. As the clock turned to midnight I began.
Speed through the Oz Mega 2014 Trail with only a handful of DNFs, then picked a few up along the highway until I got to the GeoPets trail.
After this I cut through to Wandering Heros and completed up to the "OTS: May" trail. Went along this and came back into Tailem Bend for lunch and fuel and few in town. Was beginning to get weary but proceeded back to where I left off in the Wandering Heros.
From here on in I just completed as many of these as I could up through Karoonda in the hot hot mid 30's day until midnight stuck a few kms east of town.
441 finds was the total count and now I just had to drive back to Murray Bridge. Easier said then done after being awake for practically 40 hours. Hit the hotel pillow at 1:20 am and was out within seconds.
Thanks for all the wonderful caches around this area, and sorry for generic logs.

Nice cache. We liked the logbook, and followed suit by stamping the correct date page. We thought someone else had been here today, until we noticed it had 2014 as the year. All nice and quiet at the checking stations today.
Thanks Cashar1966.

Trip up the freeway to replace cache to a stronger cache that won't fall apart.
Found the cache out in the open. Signed the log and hid the cache in a less noticeable position. Suggest CO checks the cache out as most of the locking tabs are missing and cache is being held together by what looks like an elastic hair band. Thanks for the cache.
Found 8:45:00 AM, on our trip home from a long weekend in Adelaide.

Sorry for late logging of TB's and cache finds, been without Net or Phone access for a week. Our trip started in Adelaide and headed SE to the Grampians and beyond.
This was one of the memorable spots we visited along the way.
The cache name made sense once we opened the prize.

On a quick two to three day get away by myself. Heading over to Tailem Bend and Murray Bridge to pick up a few smiley face along the way collecting mostly Earthcaches, Letterbox Hybrids, Wherigos and 'Finds by hidden month' I need to fill - Plus any others that are nearby any of the rarer types I'm after in boosting my numbers a little.
After leaving on Home on Sunday I was fortunate to have excellent weather on my side and a great run also traffic wise, which was great as it enabled me to get quite a lot of KM's done and caches done too while on my way to Tailem Bend for the night and get an early start on the trail in Murray Bridge.
After spending the night in Tailem Bend I made an early start at first light to cram as many caches in today as I can. After completing the Geopets series in Tailem Bend I headed over to Murray Bridge to grab a coffee and then do and complete the OZmega series and a few in between before returning back to Tailem Bend for the night.
Was an epic day with 218 caches found and logged!
Thanks Cashar1966 for the cache.
Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC & smiley face

Found late at night on the way to another fantastic June Long Weekend Event, with AlphaDeltaIndigo. Took us a while as our serious caching gear was packed up deep in the boot, so the search was by phone torch light. For future finders, the cache container is on the border between micro and small, not regular. TFTC Cashar1966!
Found this one just an hour before clock struck midnight. First we went searching using our phone torches coz I had just touched down from a flight (Syd to Adl) and torches were in the suitcase.

Found this whilst en route to Melbourne after House Sitting in Virginia S.A... Grabbing some caches as I made my way home was a great way to 'freshen up & Stretch the ol' Legs' ... A cool night to be out & about but happy to add some smilies to break the trip...

My sincerest thanks to Cashar1966 for the effort gone into this cache... I may not have 'seen' the area at this time of the night but I appreciate your hide..

I was happy today
I had already found a heap of caches on the other side of the river and was headed east, away from Adelaide
Adelaide has been my 'prison' for the last couple of months and I was feeling a bit claustrophobic with all the traffic and people crowding me on my bike rides [:o]
But once across the Murray, a sense of freedom to roam and cache wherever the whim takes me, was back again
First stop on my new found freedom tour .... the delightful surrounds of a weigh station
It did smell a bit funny here, but the cache was soon found in its smelly surrounds !! [xx(]
TFTC on a weigh bridge closed day [^]

Found on the trip home from a long weekend in Encounter Bay with Geobuddy BJ today. TN, left Penelope the Free Range Pig TB. There was a partially ploughed paddock next door so perhaps she can while away the time looking for truffles! TFTC Cashar1966
Quick stop while heading south. GPS wasn't playing nicely but eventually co-operated and Mr Happy was found. TFTC
Thanks to all the owners of all the caches we found on the Road between Murray Bridge and Kingston S.E. We had a wonderfull day searching and enjoying the beautiful nature. Greetings from Belgium.
We were driving towards Adelaide but fortunately you can walk over ther highway from the other side. Station was closed so nobody in sight. Inside of this container made me smile, thanks for the cache!
On a 10 day geocaching holiday in SA from Brisbane with my sister JooJoo57.Todaywe decided to do caches around the Tailem Bend district and Murray Bridge, however we were competing of temperatures in the 35-38 degrees range. We are currently staying in Murray Bridge and our WA geofrends FelixII are staying in Narrung so a plan was hatched to spend the day with them caching around Jervois, Wellington and Tailem Bend.
We decided to meet near the ferry at Jervois, cache around the area then head to Wellington and find some caches there, then take the ferry and cache up to Tailem Bend. We enjoyed a delicious pub lunch overlooking the river and spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning up a few finds in Tailem Bend.
We ended up with thirty finds for the day after finding a few extras on the way home to Murray Bridge and 2 DNF's. As always we had a great day with our friends, the weather was very kind to us and the showers held off and we added some more smileys to our tally.
Phew!! We were very glad the station was closed. This cache would be very hard to find discreetly if it was open
Thanks for the hide Cashar1966[^]

We had just been to the Airport to pick up Geoson1 & it was now time to head back home to Mount Gambier. We always stop for breaks & geodaughter is always in need of a toilet break. While pulled over here we decided to check for a cache & sure enough, there is one here. Not far from where we parked. So we head over for a quick find. Signed log & of we go. This cache is perfect to how we are feeling today, Happy to have Geoson1 back home with us. TFTC
Made a visit to put some smiley face badges for geocachers to swap. Will provide a bigger cache on my next maintenance visit. Very happy my trackable has been moved from the cache but very sad to see it has not been logged as taken.
