This one was a quick spur of the minute decision as I drove through. It popped up on the sat nav, and the mood struck me as I saw the empty parking area and swung on in.
Hmmm what to say about this cache? I actually found this ine straight away but did not realise. I hesitated, and my eyes moved on. Eventually though, I did return to my initial thought and there it is.
More of the same from the CO, which just happens to be well cunningly conceived, designed and produced sneaky micros for us to tear our hair out over.
Ta Nottinghamers. This one was good fun.

Enjoying a pleasant afternoon caching today with Moosetash grabbing a few clever hides along the way, this one was no exception, nice hide once again Nottinghamers. TFTC.
Clever hide! Haven't seen one like this before. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
Finally! A third time lucky visit! A quick find by snickersallan even with a thousand muggles nearby!

Headed south to pick up a few caches around Hinze Dam & Nerang.
This was #16 of 20 for today.
Quite a lot of activity here today.
Managed to slip past the crowds & quickly locate the devious cache without attracting undue attention.
Signed & replaced as found.
A very clever & sneaky cache & placement.
All good here.

Out for an afternoon of caching in the area with our target in mind and came across some great caches. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find. Tftc
We are caching around the Emerald Lakes area today and this little hide certainly had us puzzled at first but the hint was a great help. Thanks Nottinghamers.
Out with some caching friends and this was a stop, hmm whose the CO, ok lets have different eyes and a cache was found, I love it and am going to look for a spot around local area to copy, hope you don't mind. Fav point from me for this one. TFTC
I headed out for some early morning caching before my conference activities were due to start - not too far from here. Ah ha! After a bit of circling round GZ examining this and poking that I finally spotted what I needed to spot. I've actually got one of these at home waiting to be deployed. TFTC, Biggles.
TFTC Nottinghamers have done it again. I have been a few times to this one stumped each time not wanting to touch to much. After some thinking and just going for it I found it while the muggles battered it out in the nets!!
Stopped busting for the toilet, and luckily one was open. Naturally we checked for caches, and this was so close by. Stopping at the gz we were apprehensive to poke around to much. I sternly told Dirk to not touch and as I wandered off in the wrong direction, he had succesfully and safely found the cache, the very thing I had told him not to touch. Clever idea, tftc.
Up from Canberra and found with Rapidlywild on a two week geomission around the Gold Coast and, of course, for the MEGA
The Mega had come to a close and the fun had finished so we were back on the Gold Coast. Our energy was low so we decided we'd have a cruisy day of caching around the area.
This one was the first cache of the day for us. Parked the car nearby and strolled over to get on with the search. We checked a couple of things ot first before I looked down and immediately tuned in so investigated further...Yep! The cache.
Thanks for the hide, Nottinghamers

Back on the Gold Coast today to continue caching. The holiday is starting to wind down in preperation for the long drive back to Canberra. 2nd last day on the Gold Coast so it was out and back caching. Today was a good day with about 40 finds today.
Today we found alot of caches from Nottinghamers who I must admit have some very creative hides We had a wonderful day out and about collecting caches and placing our stamp in the log books.
Thanks Nottinghamers for placing this cache for us to make a find on

I first had an attempt at this one back in May 13.
Usually when ever I drive past there is people practicing in the nets so I keep driving.
Today, with the shawers this arvo, no one was around.
I stopped in and headed to GZ. Around and around and around I went ... looking, looking, looking (but not touching ) I do not like poking around these types of GZ's.
Eventually I spotted something that looked a little suss and sure enough, the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

We found this last week but could not log it as a pen could not be found. So off we went today to finally put a found on this little one. Both Mr Geo and I don't tend to spend too much time looking on the structures that this one was found on, as pull the wrong thing on one of these babies and you may not be around to have anymore fun. It just happened that Mr Geo looked down and spotted something shiny and new what he was looking at. Found this time with ease. Thanks for the cache.
Thanks tp Fangsoki for the note and chat. Have found the "container"to be damaged so have replaced with new one. Happy caching!
Out travelling with Pprime today - we were hoping to grab some caches to bring up his numbers close to 3000 finds
We parked up and made our way to GZ. Though folks were playing on the field, this cache is nicely away enough not to cause a problem.
We circumnavigated GZ and I spotted something. I mentioned my suspicions to Prime and gave him cover while he investigated. Yes - that will do nicely.
We found the log and signed it but something seemed to be amiss. We re-hid it as best as we could. I had the pleasure of seeing the cache owners today, so I mentioned the issue to them.
A nice little area and a clever little hide. TFTC Nottinghamers

On the run down to a milestone and Sir Fangsoki says "Nottinghammers" ... I think he said other stuff too, but that was all I needed to be guided to this spot as a sidetrip. Have had the pleasure a few times before, but not it seems recently. SO, OK then, we found the right GZ, nicely away from muggles in white, and the staring competition began. Who would blink first - Fang and I? Nottinghammer? Everything looks 'suspicious' to a trained geo-eye - not everything here is removable. Apparently (not counting the sledge hammer and drill I was about to go back for) - when The Fang-eye spotted something - more odd. On close examination it was NOT the cache - but it seems it was meant to be attached to it, and thus a logbook was revealed.
Once signed we tried some field-repairs, but that didn't last the actual returning of it. Will need some looking at I think. But otherwise very good.
Thanks for placing this cache, Nottinghamers. Logsheet in good condition.

I can agree with everyone one that this was a very sneaky hide. Actually, way too sneaky for us. We looked and looked but could not find. I love sneaky finds like this that make you scream Muggled! but alas, you know in your true heart that it is your blindness to the deathly dragon that has caused your sightlessness.
We will sneak back to have another look, on another day. Also, I don't want anyone I know that sees this DNF to tell me what dummies we were not to have a find, and I want you to keep your secret knowledge to your self.
Thank you so much for such a well hidden find, it was excellent fun not finding it.
We will be back at another day and await till the sneakiness has debated and grab the smile that is our worthy reward.

cache find #1667. A very clever and creative hide. Took a few minutes and then we found it. TFTC.
Very clever:) found this one with no trouble even with muggles playing their sports at night:)
Good clue thanks to it had it in hand pretty quick but as usual awesome hide always enjoy ur hides
I have grabbed a few caches today and was driving past this one on my way home. Why not. I stopped and grabbed this one without too much bother. Nottinghamers I've said it before and will say it many more times I'm sure - genius hide. True quality. TFTC. SL.
I had a few hours to kill while waiting for the family to wake up, so I decided to explore part of Carrara for the first time and discover some caches along the way. This was number 4. I had to use the hint which helped me find it pretty quickly. Very nifty. Tftc The Nottinghamers
I know for certain I wouldn't have found this but MrG twiddled and fiddled and produced a log. Now that's just too sneaky! TFTC Nottinghamers, fav for sure.
Saturday afternnon in summer. Not a good time. Cricket is in full swing. Rode in to GZ, but decided not to to hunt. Way too many people about. I'll be back
Well this one had us searching for a while. When we did finally find it everything came together. Very clever. Thanks for the cache nottinghamers
Sneaky hide but nice and easy find as we had seen similar one before. TFTC Nottinghamers.
Just enough time today to grab 4 finds, while attending to other business. Having my 4yo with me on this one came in handy... After some hunting in the wrong spot, as indicated by the GPSr, I shifted my attention, and had the hide found. Very well implemented and great use of something different. The only catch here was, a council mower man, on a tractor, had been watching me, and as I returned to my car, he drove over, and was curious as to what I was doing, explaining that the nearby cricket club had recently had a stack of hot water services stolen. I explained about Geocaching, but only gave a vague indication that there "was a cache hidden over there". So it's all safe. 30 mins later, and after a friendly chat, I was off.
Only the second of these I have seen. Fav point for sure.

After undertaking Aussie Liahona's great series along the wetlands path we ventured to the sports ground for this one, wading through more wetlands in the grounds than the actual wetlands!
This one really had us scratching our heads for quite a while.
Very clever hide. Gets a favourite point for innovation.
Thanks Nottinghamers.

Got down here early this morning, muggle free area with a bit of rain around. Parked close by to GZ so I didn't get to wet. Found the pole then the cleverly hidden cache. Back to the car for some tweezers and soon had log signed and replaced.
Great hide once again Nottinghamers, cheers.

I arrived here today about 0730 and there was so much water flowing over the ground.
After quite some searching I gave up as my boots were getting too wet.

I finally came back to this one this afternoon. I knew where this was in terms of general location but felt intimidated by so many possible problems.....
Having some successful finds by others and logs to read I decided to stand back and look carefully from a distance using the hint as a guide. Doing it this way it was much easier to find.
Well hidden and very lever but not recommended for children.
Thanks again Nottinghamers.

Geo waxer and geo freckles up from Melbs for the weekend for my mates 40th birthday ... Last day and found this premium hide (he is too tight to pay for premium membership) ... So on the last morning we went for a walk to the field and we searched ... And searched .... Checking logs and clues until eventually it all became clear and the penny dropped .... On reflection it all made sense .. Nice hide tftc ...
This one took me way too long! Initially I was confused about the hint but silly me didn't realise that it was because of something else!

Upon arriving at this one, I followed my GPS to "over there", and I kept looking behind me as Ms Wig and Mr LLJ were preoccupied at another location, kept looking and then decided to check the hint!! Oh, I should be back "there" with the others!!
So wandered back and started to look.... I put my neck at angles I don't think it has ever acheived before and eventually Ms Wig gets fixed on one of the objects. After a further inspection, turns out her instincts were right!!
Never seen a cache like this before!! Favourite for the day! Thanks Nottinghamers.

Out with the 'boys' today in the Junki-mobile I got to sit up nice and high, not something that I experience in my car so I got a whole new perspective on the world.
We arrived here and Mr Gap bolted out the door while I was still untangling myself from the myriad of cables wound around my legs from all the equipment we had for the day....
Mr L&L and I sorted that out and sauntered across the soggy ground to where our GPSs were pointing us to, while Mr Gap was busy 'over there'. We looked at the hint, looked at where the GPS was pointing, looked at the hint again...Mr Gap came over, after having no luck where he had been...we poked and prodded, opened something up, nope wasn't that....and I did like that.....well it looked odd and it being there was doing my head in.....'that' should not be there....should it? Nah, now boys, I REALLY like that thing.....Finally MR L&L braved it and gave to a little bit of persuasion and what do you know?
I think this has got to be my favourite of the day, thanks Nottinghamers, you always gaurantee a good cache with a difference

Some time after our arrival at GZ, it became necessary to read the clue. Well, of course, that didn't help a lot. "PigWig2" was the first to decide that "THAT" had to be of significance but "Agap2" and I were sceptical. With all other options exhausted, we both said, "yes dear" and ... well ... you know what we found. Oh my, what a delightful hide this is [^]. I don't know how many times we all looked at the cache before we thought to REALLY look at it. Two [B)] for us guys and a huge [:X] for Ms Wig. A very clever hide, "Nottinghamers", but you can go back to easy finds now, okay?
What a wet area after all our coast rain. Looked and looked ... Then finally there it is, now we remember another like this - no good remembering that after the find! Giving it a fav point as we like the sneaky thing. Off home to wash the shoes.
Thanks Nottinghamers.
Thanks Nottinghamers.
Has anyone ever felt silly trying to find a cache while someone watches on grinning at your errors {don't worry it was a fellow cacher who recommended this one,I think knowing she'd be amused}.Any how after checking every thing else we narrowed it down,it had to be in that vicinity,so with a few touches and tampers it revealed itself.TFTC.Nottinghamers. Now off to do a couple of your others.
There was practice in the nets so I had to try to look invisible.
No one was taking any interest in my and I checked out the likely spot but nothing stood out.
A quick phone call to a friend and that gave me a DUH moment. It was pretty easy to locate the cache but the retrieval had me exposed to the players but there was no interest from them, A quick sign of the log and I had it all back safe and sound.
Very sneaky.

I had been to this one a few times but each time there was either people in the nets or on the field close by so I felt quite uncomfortable and left without a proper search.
Today I had some spare time so I hoped it was the right time for this one and some other Nottinghamers caches.
On my way I said a quick prayer to God and He blessed me because when I got here there was only one person to be seen and he was in the middle of the field concentrating on maintaining the pitch.
It gave me a perfect opportunity to search for this obvoiusly sneaky hide and camo.
I searched for a little while and then I spotted something that looked a little strange but not out of place.
Upon investigation I found that there was every possibility that this object contained the cache and sure enough after removing the outer layer I had the log in hand.
Well done Nottinghamers for a well thought out hide and fantastic camo. There's a favourite point coming your way.

It was a pretty ordinary weekend weather wise with non-stop rain and lots of wind blowing it in all directions.
I need a cache on the 27th of January to fill in a blank spot in my "caching calendar".
I donned the raincoat and grabbed an umbrella and headed out. The parking spot I found was about a hundred meters away. There were a few muggles inside the club house but you know what they say "rainy days keep the muggles away".
I found a suspect object (I look at too many geocaching supplies websites) and had a "I hope this is actually the cache" moment as I investigated it. There was a log inside so all was good.
Thanks for the cache Nottinghammers. Another clever one. Cheers!!

I had made several visits to this one but today was the day for a smiley. I shouldn't have been so scared on previous visits. All was well, cricketers were too far away to present a problem. Great cache, yet again, from Nottinghamers
This was a very clever hide, different to any I have seen before. The camo is very suitable for the location. Thanks to Nottinghamers for the cache.
This cache almost got 3 separate logs from me today, but I thought I would use them all to tell the funniest part of my day.
Write Note: I arrived at the location at 2pm and parked just 23m from GZ and almost cried. A cricket game was in progress and the practise nets were full of kids practising. I was very sad. I was sitting in my car looking right at GZ and there wasn't a darn thing I could do about it.
I resigned myself to the fact I would have to go find some nearby ones and come back on the way home. ( I updated Facebook with this). I then got a phone call from a fellow Geocacher who had very recently found this and she asked where I thought It was, I told her and she confirmed that I was headed in the right direction but as I was out alone today I didn't have any decoys (children).
DNF: 4pm-ish I returned to an empty area, just one guy doing maintenance to the pitch. So I headed to GZ and checked around it, on it. I am telling the honest truth now that I was getting pretty personal with this location as my determination to find it started to take over and I got tunnel vision.... then a man with 2 dogs broke me out of my haze to ask if I was ok?
The picture I must have made, half sitting, half wrapped around this thing intently checking every possible spot. Luckily my car keys were in my hand an somehow I managed to get up and give an oscar winning "phew -got them" trying to hide my panic at being sprung by a muggle for the first time in years! I almost ran for my car and sat with my hands shaking and heart racing as I Updated my sillyness on facebook.
Then my Phone rings again, same friend as before, I could hear her laughter as she got the story out of me. I told her I was shaking too much to go back and she reminded me I was in the right place and to think about something. I thanked her and put the phone down. As I put the car into reverse I decided that NO!!!! I was NOT giving up that easily. I was not breaking my record number of successful caches in one day by myself on something that I'm sure I touched!
Found It: So I turned the car off and checked around me like a good little spy, then walked halfway to gz and checked around me again, then I got to GZ and checked around me again. then I assumed the required position and YEP checked around me again. I touched what my hand was on before when I was interrupted and sure enough! It was the cache! Grrrrr, now to get. it. out. before. (check for muggles) I. am. interrupted. again. Phew, there, got it. Okay so now to log it, I walked a little way to sit and log my initials, then popped the log into the cache. Checked around me again and went to the hide spot and checked again for people then got the cache back in, which was fiddlier than getting it out was. I got up and walked back to the car and was excited to report that I'd got it!
This cache is getting a Favourite point because it was genius! I hope you enjoy the story as much as My friends are enjoying laughing at me!

Wow Nottinghamers! We loved this cache. The place was busy so Aussie Bob was watching the action while I was nonchalantly eyeing off the GZ. Only because I have one of these in my 'caches to come' box did I spy the very clever camouflage. Log retrieval tool definitely needed and we'd brought our own pen so that was no problem to add our signature to the log. This definitely deserves a favourite point - and if we could we would give it one each coz we both voted for it. A great cache! TNLNSL. [^][^]
I love that a few people have tried but haven't found it, yay for my awesome geocaching skills!!
Rats! Drove past after getting Strong-arm and thought I'd be in tune with Nottinghamers methods butstill this one eludes me. There were more people in the nets than I'd seen before so I couldn't make more than a cursory search. Anyway I did some maintenance on two of my caches, and collected some more stray aluminium cans so the trip was not wasted.

In light of the previous entries I have re-checked the co-ordinates and adjusted slightly. I have also amended the hint. Hopefully it will enable a FTF soon.

Have seen this type before so it didn't take too long however I was still hesitant as some boys wherein the nets practicing. FTF, yay! Found with Kadin at around 5:30 this afternoon
Gee. So many new caches published while we are away on holidays. It's just too bad we are not there for the race for FTF.
I tried to find this this morning just after another FTF. My GPS had me in a long grass area leading towards a gully. I paused and glanced down to see a large black snake slithering along happily. This area didn't gel with the hint and so either my GPS was playing up or the co-ords are out slightly. Also, as I arrived, two men arrived to practice bowling and my shyness stopped me from poking in other possible areas . Hope someone comes along soon and makes this their first find of the year. Thanks nottinghamers.
