Very exposed area with hardly any hiding places (apart from private property). As it is not on private property and has a difficulty rating one it should be pretty straight forward. Well, got approached by a very unfriendly resident and assume it is gone (considering previous logs). Other owner intervention or gone!
Had a look in the likely places and not there. I think you need to check on this and post a note please.
We had a good look around - no luck! Does the reduce reuse recycle clue have anything to do with it? What kind of cache is it?
This cache might need to be moved. As I pulled up and got out of the car with phone in hand, I was accosted by someone who I presumed lived handy and told to go away not particuarly politely. I said I was visiting a friend nearby and walked off around the block. I suspect there may have been a few over zealous searchers and the GZ is very exposed.
My girlfriend and I's first find it was fun. Found it on the 3rd or 4th try. Nice hiding spot.

After work, I went over to visit my ex flatmates who were now living in Parklands. We hung out for a bit, I brought them their mail, had some tea, and then I went to take one of them back over to Riccarton with as she needed to finish her Census collecting.
On the way back though, I said I had to find a cache, and I said we were going back to the one that we had been at once before... oh no she said... not this one! We had sort of had a bit of an incident here already where we had assumed the house right in front was the COs... and so not really hidden our searching.. and then saw some random man come out of the house.
I convinced her we'd be sweet this time round, and sure enough, we were! Wow... I swear that had not been there last time! And it was pretty much a coincidence that I spotted it this time too!! But hey, got it!! And so totally keeping up the consec day count!!

Out and about on an evenings caching adventure. Well dark by the time that I got here. Took longer than it should have but got there in the end. Said hi to the friendly neighbourhood hedgehoge as he was doing his rounds. Cheers.
Had a very very good look about... I had heard that the cache was outside the CO's house, so didn't go onto any private property, but I wasn't afraid to search on areas that weren't... well that went alright... we didn't find the cache, but we decided to head to the car and grab sweaters... we then saw a man from the house go out to throw something into his bin... wow... I had met the CO before, and that was not the CO going out of that house... well this was awkward... so we gapped it and decided to go for another...
A quick and easy find. TFTC

4944. A very quick and easy cache. Not quite sure what the earlier problems were with it as it seemed extremely straightforward to us. Thanks, Rodney and Iris.
Decided to 'refind' this one since it had to be changed, even though I found original but never logged it. If you like this one you'll definitely like toytrix_nz second effort slightly further up the road in the forest
After reading the logs- was a bit hesitant to try this one but we were in the area so gave it a go. Found it quite quickly. Nicely done. Thanks toytrix nz
not seen anything like this before in a location like this ! Difficult not to be noticed Quick find LGM
Have since found out what you had to change;-- that would've been a goody!!! Anyway hard to see where you would hide the replacement, thank goodness for the hint. Thanks.
It has come to my attention that this cache does not comply with the listing guidelines.
Arrived at gz quickly, spent way to long searching, more catchers arrived and they soon had the cache in hand, good job! Very tricky hide.

We provided toytrix with plenty of amusement this morning. Get there in the end. Deserves a favourite for ingenuity. TFTC
702 - After seeing this published this morning I knew I wouldn't get to finding it before the Hagley park event at lunchtime. Met the CO there so I decided I definitely would take the long way home and pick it up. I, too, provided entertainment for him as he sat on the lawn and watched my efforts. Took me longer than it should have put finally came up trumps. Welcome to the ranks of the hiders , I know you'll get lots of entertainment out of this one.
