Took Heidi the Himalayan motorcycle for an overnight adventure, with the primary purpose to cache out the seaward side of SH1 south of Rakaia to the Ashburton River. After a largely productive day one and a night spent at Hakatere Campsite, a neat little unattended patch of grass on the side of a dead-end road right on the coast, I rose like the Undead to consume several coffees and continue my mid-week weekend mission.Day two consisted of many more kilometers of sealed and unsealed country roads, heading south to visit a Parental, then striking inland via the scenic route back to Home Base.TFTC
QEF with the hint. Lot of pruned branches of trees been dumped there. TFTC and greetings from the UK
A bit sticky inside. Someone left a lolly in it. Yuk. Anyway a quick find. Thanks for the info and cache.

It took way longer than it should have. Jude_E and I are on another road trip. We stayed in Dunedin and Oamaru. Last night we stayed in Waimate .Thanks for hiding this cache wardsmithfamily I appreciate it.
School holiday request from Miss 8. So off we went for a cute family adventure. A lovely little hut for the dogs to roam around the area. Overgrown location but the dog found the cache first!
found it years ago but the log cache has failed...an are I used to visit a lot when my in laws lived there
#16728. Thought we'd go round the block to get back on to the main road (via this cache). Quick find. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 2 of our weekend trip to Geraldine. We headed out about 7:30pm to find a few caches in and around Geraldine before another bike ride along the Orari River.
A wee detour to this cache, parked right by GZ where SW quickly found the cache. All quiet in this neck of the woods on a Sunday morning. TFTC.

Extended family tenting for a couple nights at the nearby Farmyard. Popping out late afternoon for a couple things from the supermarket....detoured for a couple caches along the way. Supermarket visited; now a wide loop back to the campsite. Nice quiet wee spot....with a good bit of history. Cheers.
Staying in Geraldine and this was a quick find on a morning drive around the area. TFTC
On a mission from Rolleston to Tekapo, Twizel, Omarama, Kurow, Waimate and home again. Found over 100 caches, which was the goal for the day. A bit drizzly for a start but beautiful sunshine through the Mackenzie. Thanks to all the CO's and apologies for the cut and paste.
Nice hide. I thought it would of been somewhere closer to the building but never mind though
Whey hey!!!! Up this way and today I (or rather mrs abxt350) found it immediately, thanks for the reply a few months ago and updating the hint.
After finding an object consistent with the hint, but no cache, we relocated to another object lacking a member, for a quick easy find. TFTC
Good hide. Not where I first thought. But came up with it in a matter of minutes. Tftc
out for a drive in the rural zones where i just love coming across un selected caches by random, this was no exception, whistling past thinking that "would need a cache" and there was one... back track and dig around to find it just where it should be, but not before i had got all nice and dirty grovelling in all the other spots it might be.. hindsight is always a wonderful thing! lol
The hint helped a lot this time but we should have found it on our last visit. TFTC
Co-ords seem to move around a bit, maybe interference from nearby building, changed hint to make easier
Found on our way back to Geraldine after the orienteering event nearby. Always good to see these structures representative of the rural scene. TFTC

In Geraldine/Timaru for the South Island Orienteering champs this weekend. After the first event nearby, I dropped by here. My initial search at GZ was unfruitful, so I searched nearby thinking the coords might be a bit off. Again without success. Returned to the original spot searching more thoroughly and found it. Co-ords bang on, and well hidden. TFTC.

Unfortunately I could not find this one, both gps systems were telling me where it should be, but unless it is inside all that matting I just could not find it, I looked in all the obvious places even under the building, in the trees and otherside of the fence, spent a good 20 mins here today to no avail. I assume it is there but I could not see it, any chance of a clue please.
Just been to check cache, still there, been moved about 1m but was visible. Put back in original location.
Staying in Geraldine for a couple of days, so was able to find a few local caches. Thanks.
Picked up a couple of muggle hitchhiking tourists leaving from my hunt around Fairlie. Explained caching to them, gave them an experience and there are now two new cachers to world! Quick find but I am glad I had the GPSr to put me in the right direction as this was not where I expected in arriving at GZ!
5843. A good find on a short detour. Only had to walk a few steps. A lovely peaceful spot, but no cellphone coverage. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and iris.
Out and about with Karma Reprint on a weekend down south. If you happen to find a Swiss Army knife nearby, get in touch eh please? Thanks
Found with Kiwi Moose on a big weekend of caching. A wee detour from the main road and the cache was ours. Thanks for the hide.

The log re the ford had me worried, but it is not even on the direct route, which was tar sealed all the way so that was good. A very pleasant drive from Geraldine. Thank you.
Quick diversion off the Fairly - Geraldine highway. Hope the water flowing over the nearby ford washed some of the mud from the underside of the cachemobile.. Nice quick find. T4TC.
Bit of a diversion off SH 1 for this one today. But a great drive in the country. TFTC
My cell phone is flat & so is the battery. Don't think the locale helped it out. I'm so low tech.
Nice quick trip before cooking tea! Took both wee Bairdys with me for a jaunt. TFTC SL dropped in a toy.
