Needs checking from cache owner, does not appear to be here and others have dnf logs aswell
Searched high and low, taking all comments into account, but no joy. Is it still there?
A comment was made driving to GZ, 'This must be an easy one - no DNFs!' Reply from the back seat, 'Well, we could change that!' Unfortunately the prediction came true! We checked the hint, yep, we're in the right spot. Searched high & low. braved the mozzies but our geo-mojo had left us! Time to email the CO but happy to return again to explore the park further.
Tftc!!
Nice easy one, not keen on all of the mozzies but a quick find helped us escape their wrath.
Thanks!

Today we had a nice walk around the area on a fantastic sunny sunday. Found the cache quickly and went into the park. Unfortunately we were a little bit late so that we had not much time to see everything but I really liked it and maybe come back here.

Quick find. The first thing I thought was the cache turned out to be a live frog - scared the crap out of me. Actual cache much less wriggly, wet and/or wild. TFTC

#118 - Stopped in one the way home after the Balls Out series, and probably would have had this quicker if I'd realised what sort of container I was looking for. Mosquitoes absolutely everywhere so we signed and replaced as quickly as we could and got away from the little buggers. The plastic bad the log is in has ripped and the log itself was a bit damp - perhaps the next cacher could bring along a new bag if the CO hasn't had a chance to get to it. TFTC hobble_bobble!
Had a few interstate trips these past few weeks and managed to fit in some drive by/ short walk caches at lunch time and when early for appointments. Great way to clear the mind before a meeting. Tftc.
The only animal friends i really had to worry about were the mossies - there were heaps! Tftc

This was a good cache, outside on of my fave places in Newcastle. I really need to get out here more often.
Thanks for the cache hobble bobble.
After a delayed start due to someone sleeping in (me), Cccritter7, 88jaz88 and I set off on our big trip. We headed through Jesmond and along the freeway. We stopped for a cache at the wetlands, then continued along to the Sandgate Cemetery. We picked up 2 caches along Maitland Road, then turned into Ash Island. We managed to pick up all the caches in Ash Island, also admiring the amazing views. We then headed to the Tourle Street Bridge, and headed along towards the Coal Terminals, picking up a cache along the way. We continued along towards the Dinosaur bridge, and picked up the first in the series of caches on the bridge. We went underneath, and after finding it, both Cccritter7 and I developed flats. We luckily were able to replace them, and continued up to the bridge, and along. We found the rest of the bridge series, and headed for Stockton. Unfortunately, after we found our first cache along the way, my back wheel had gone down. I pumped this up, then discovered my front was flat too! It looked like I had ridden through a patch of mutant cat-eyes when we pulled them out. I then walked the bike the 3-ish k's to the ferry terminal while the other two grabbed a few caches in Stockton. We reunited at the terminal, hopped on, then hopped off again in Newcastle. We went to a nearby bike shop, had my tires repaired, then we discovered 88jaz88 had a flat too! After having everything repaired, we followed the bike track from civic to Islington, picking up several along the way. We then got into Broadmeadow and onto the bike track, and we headed back to base. Unfortunately, I still had a way to go, but it was plenty of fun. 54kms, 5 punctures, plenty of caches and tons of fun!

On a pupil free day, i thought what else is better to do then go find a cache. Being the closest in terms of cycling, i jumped on the pushie and headed off. 20minutes later i was at GZ and quickly found the cache. The bypass is coming along nicely!!! Signed log and returned home. Now for some study! Thanks for the cache!
A nice quick drive by cache between jobs. We were able to park close to the GZ and were able to quickly locate the cache. Thanks hobble bobble for the hide.
First day back after a long break and found this nice easy to find cache. Thanks again.
Found this while down in Newcastle on holidays.
Left a ziploc bag for the log sheet.

0830 GAFF1 We had come down to Jesmond to spend some time with family, and decided to grab one of the close caches for the day.
Pulled up, and soon had the cache in hand, but had to get the LET (log extraction tool) from the car.

Nice easy find thanks for bringing us back here i haven't been here since school TFTC
Found at 9:26 AM GAFF1. Looks like the National Parks office/school is here as well. There was a group of kids waiting to go in - probably to learn how NP rangers don't want people to go into their parks
Thanks hobble_bobble.
Feedback: The 2/2 rating is probably half a star over-rated on both counts.

After spending all day in a seminar at the university for work had to go and find a cache to get back to reality and lucky this one was close and easy to find. The plastic bag is torn and I didn't have a new one but the log is still dry.

A quick find. I must get out to this establishment someday and have a look around. ( Only been saying that for the last 13 years since I came to Newcastle! )

Nice quick find for this morning, the bag has been ripped so log may be in risk of moisture.
Three days left to bag 1000 caches in our first year. This is 962. last one for today so now 2 days and 38 to find.
A quick and easy find. Thanks hobble bobble.

Our 6671st overall find.
This one popped up while I was at work today so on the way home I ducked in for a look. I knew the FTF would be gone but I made a quick find. The log book is a bit large for the cache and the bag is already showing signs of wear even though there are only two finds before me.
Thanks hobble_bobble for the cache.

Drats, beaten again to a FTF. My new years resolution is to beat MV to a FTF.
Great idea for a cache location. I was thinking about something in the same area. Unfortunately I didnt have any time to drop into the wetlands and have a look around. I also didnt want to walk around in the sun as it was 40 degress in the shade. TFTC.

Reperio at 1150. FTF!
I was sitting at home enjoying the cool of the air-con when up popped a few new caches in the area. This one wasn't too far away, so I stopped by here first to a little area I frequently pass by. Pulled up right next to GZ...and with the coords spot on...the cache was quickly found. Looking forward to returning here for a more in-depth look around when it's not so hot.
