Took advice from previous finds, looked at difficulty and terrain rating, delved into/under/behind structures and vegetation but dnf.

Couldn't find it today even though the hint made sense. Wondering if the big storm impacted it? Will come back if someone else has success!
Had to wait a bit for the weet-bix triathlon to finish, then it was a quick find. As others said, the lid (magnetic) doesn't close very good and the log is just a little paper someone added.

First cache find for myself and my sons! Needs maintenance, not sure what the protocol is exactly so popped a little log note in there and re hid it. So much fun!!
After figuring out the clue, determining its rough location and coming across various items of rubbish, I found it. However the log was missing. There is a lid, however it isn't very secure, which could be why the log is missing.
Lovely setting. Found this on a trip from Christchurch, staying with friends round the corner. TFtc
This cache has now gone. Confirmed by a fellow local cacher who found it a month or so ago with no log book.

Yes the hide is still there with a piece of paper with previous logger name. A quick find on a lovely sunny day with no muggles but lotd of birds singing aesu. Tftc
Heading home after a morning of caching. Nice park, very quiet. Didn't take long to find cache, but it was missing lid and log. Left a piece of paper in container after signing. Not sure how long it will stay in there. Cheers.
I was down in the Hawkes Bay for work for a couple of days and between work commitments I was able to do some caching, both to stretch the legs and to see some of the local area. This was the first cache for the afternoon, the roses are at the end of the season but still a few blooms and a lovely place to visit on a warm sunny autumn day. Tftc and the lovely park that I would never have visited if not for geocaching!
Hi , This is not quite a DNF but more a ..could not complete... There was a wedding party ,grooms men and minister within a meter of cache as i wandered around , through the wedding cars approaching and amongst the guests . the family video is going to have me in nearly every shot and no one will have any idea who the furtive middle age person is. i got to within 7 meters and really wanted to thrust the minister aside but sanity only just prevailed. I will return ... lol
wow what a beautiful an peaceful surrounding. got to cool off under shade an while kids playing round actually found it.
Pulled up on other side of park and Hyjynx and myself had a nice stroll to the intended GZ.
Some workers nearby, but on a outer ring, so we kept a eye on them as extraction was under way.
All was good though and formalities were completed.
Visually pleasing place here, Hyjyinx said the Tequila sunrise? was her favorite here.

Gps was bouncing every where! Finally found it. But couldn't spot any lanterns
This one had beautiful scenery. Our first find and we weren't even looking.
Wasn't quite sure where to park for this one, but that worked out well because I ended up going for a nice walk through the gardens. TFTC.
