We were driving along extremely slowly, stuck behind a massive group of cyclists, so I managed to park as close as possible to the cache. I wasn't sure whether to approach from the road, or from inside the cemetery, but there seemed to be a geotrail from the road.As noted by the previous cacher the cache does seem to be completely enclosed in the tree now, and for once I didn't have pliers or a wrench in my handbag, so I was unable to get it open (just like previous finders).Took a photo of the cache as proof of getting to it.
The boys found it, but couldnt open it. Well come back to open it with a tool later
As others have said, the tree has grown around the cache effectively disabling entry to the logbook......but we had to come take a look whilst we were up this way visiting some long time friends.....In the area today as we thought these caches looked a little lonely, and we had a carer for junior cacher .....it was time we got into some sunshine as we had been renovating a bedroom, taking up any spare hours....Left home at 8am (the wrong time as schools had just gone back after the anniversary weekend, and we hit traffic extending the trip to the park by half an hour.TFTC.
Found it on a daily jog through the cemetery while eating hot cheetos. Tree grew over the cache and couldn't open. But I saw it so that counts
Yep the next finder is going to have to bring something with them to get it open. Definitely need a tool of some sort. Took a pic if needed for proof of find. Tftc.
Found, but this isn't going to get opened anytime soon. A plumbers pipe wrench may work?
Found it years before. Checked up on it during my lockdown walk to see if it's still here. TFTC
Easy find, just have to figure out where to approach from. Nice and dry inside the cache
After three tries and two ToTT, I finally got the cache open. I cleaned things up a bit so the next finders should have to trouble. (For a few years anyways). TFTC.
Parked nearby and came in from the road side for a quick find. Lid is locked on, might need CO intervention to loosen.
Another day closer to Christmas, and mrs capperz was keen for a trip to the xmas market at Kumeu. I, however, was not quite as enthusiastic. Our daughter Liv was keen to go with Mum which opened up a morning of potential opportunity, which I was not adverse to taking advantage of. I was keen to get some of the treasure on offer out Helensville way and so made up a PQ and headed off about 0830. Some nice scenery seen and a few caches found, T F T C all CO s.

Out on a sunny day geocaching around the area. Love this cache but could not open it to sign the log. Have photograph if the CO wishes to see it. Thanks cs1111.
Found it! I walk past this area everyday!! It was a little hard to open but managed to loosen it up and log it. TFTC
In Auckland for work for a couple of days but with spare time today. I headed north and west to places I haven't been to for years, if ever. The weather was very unpredictable, generally blustery with showers getting blown in the wind too. I managed to stay fairly dry given the conditions. After quite a search I located what I think is the cache but could not get it open or access the log. I have taken a photo if the CO wants to see what I found. TFTC, Biggles.
Couldn’t find this one. My children are friends with Lous grandkids so it was really nice seeing him resting close by. Will come back and try again
A pleasant site for a cemetery. Very quiet so I could search in peace. Clever piece of camo. TFTC
Took a drive to Helensville while the youngsters were doing some training nearby. Always find cemeteries are a place for reflection and this was no different. TFTC
I wasn't quite sure from which direction to tackle this one - no "time" attributes to guide me.
Anyway - excellent cache, another FP from me - I can't beleive it has only 2 FPs !!
Thanks for your efforts with this cache, cs1111.

Thankfully started at right side. Oh wow never seen hide like that one before. TFTC
This was found quickly as I think I came in at the right angle to spy it. I had to return to the car to get a tott to loosen the lid as it was screwed on way too tight but with a bit of brute force I was able to loosen it to access the log which was wet and full so I replaced it with a new clean waterproof one
My Smartphone was leading me to one place, the hint to another, and my Geosense to a third. None produced a cache and they were so far apart that I gave up before I became any more Geo-schizophrenic.
Parked as close as possible. Wasn't sure if I was on the right side, but dived in and quickly saw the hide. TFTC
Out and about for a spot cache detection on this cold, wet and windy day. Due to the weather I am focusing on park and grabs. I parked up at the top of the hill and walked down to GZ. Walked the hedgerow and decided on an entry point. Once at GZ I quickly spotted something of interest, closer inspection confirmed the find. However, the log was rather damp. Cheers for the cache placement!
Parked up on the street outside of the cemetery and wandered down to GZ to take a look and see if I could find the geocache. Had a scan about and then decided where I thought it might be and there it was, a relatively quick find. Quite an interesting hiding technique but no problems how to get into it. I still had my tweezers in my pocket which was handy as that made it easier to get the damp log out - managed to sign the damp log and replace.
I took a look at the folks resting nearby and saw that one of New Zealand's greatest ever lawn bowlers, Ivan Kostanich rests here. I played against him once when he was in his early eighties in a triples competition. I remember he was immaculately attired in his crisp, white pants, shirt, sweater and cheesecutter hat. While he didn't have the flexibility of earlier years, his draw bowling was still incredible. He was a real gentleman too. Took a moment to pay my respects and then returned to the car to move on.
Thanks for the cache.

awesomely hidden cache!! found it, but couldn't sign the logbook because it was too wet. tftc!!:)
#3986. The last day of my short visit to Auckland and closing in on 4000 finds. Decided a trip up north was in order to pick up a special cache. Just needed to find 14 other caches on the way. The first stop was Helensville. This one was surprisingly quite easy. Good coordinates had me on the right spot immediately for an instant find. Pleased about that as there were a lot of other places to look if I didn't find it quickly. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for the cache.
I joined up with yorkshirekiwi83 today and headed out to Atiu Creek Regional Park for a days caching. After several hours caching in the Regional Park and around the Okahukura Peninsula, we then headed back to Auckland and found a few more caches along the way. After a short search, this clever hide was soon found - favourite point added! TFTC!
Vistra decided he was going to push for his 11,00th this weekend, but he needed to grab a few to get him closer, so I tagged along for the ride and help with the finds.
Thanksfully extraction wasnt a problem and made a quick find once the gps had settled (must be nervy in the location) TFTC

Walked right up to the cache. It took a while to open and extract the log book though. TFTC.
What a clever hide! The coords are a little off but it certainly did pay off. Paper in cache is a bit crowded and should probably be replaced other than that TFTF!
Connor (9) found this one! Had a real task getting it open but that shouldn't be a problem for the next person. Very choice way of hiding it!
Quickly spoted which I think was more luck than anything otherwise I could have been here for a while. Thank you.
Spotted hide but couldn't get it open so thought I must have got that wrong, circled back tried harded and was able to retrive the log. T4tc
A nice quick find on a day trip to Helensville. The coordinates were spot on. TFTC.
Found with my Pokémon playing friend on my way back from lunch. She stayed in the car and did her thing. I got out and found the cache using a previous log as a hint. Tftc
Out and about caching instead of housework and gardening. Parked on the track above which increased the terrain rating a little Took us a few minutes of searching about before Scotty spotted something not quite right. TFTC
[Went with my 9yr old muggle sister who I invited along for a walk. When I showed her the cache she was unimpressed, but then] I twisted the end off and she was floored.
Heading home from a long weekend this was available as a relatively quick stop and grab. A straight forward find but nosy neighbors meant we had to be visitors.
Quick find thanks and greetings from azzaro. Interesting container nearly drove us nuts
Our second visit today. The first pass we could see someone at one of the grave stones, so after some lunch returned to find the area all to ourselves.
Very clever camo, don't think I have seen this type before. rebel98 spotted it straight away, luckily I am their to hold the pen Thanks for the hide.

Second attempt for this one as a muggle was at GZ came back latter easy find TFTC.
Dead quiet at GZ today. No muggles around and what a surprise to see a caching friend from Darwin found it few days ago. Hi Corunnaroad.
Thanks CS for the cache.

Always enjoy cemetery caches. It had us looking about a bit before we spotted it, good hide.
Visiting from Nelson and off around Northland on a family tiki tour - enjoying some of the many sights and towns en route.
OK, so a round-the-houses route to the supermarket, but a worthwhile one all the same.
Drove in, drove out and then darted into the bushes without being spotted.
That container's not going anywhere anytime soon!
Thanks

Took a little while to nut this one out.
Log page found to be full, so this was replenished.

Not a big fan of cemetery caches, fortunately the fund was made surprisingly quickly.
#10810. Cemeteries are usually worth a visit, and this one was no exception. Great views over the Kaipara Harbour. TFTC.
Today we are leaving Auckland after spending 3 weeks exploring and caching around the city and we are heading northwards, destination: Algies Bay.
Once in the right area, the cache was a quick find but it first took a few minutes for the GPSr to settle. Afterwards, we headed up to the top to enjoy the views. TFTC.

Cemeteries are our favourite places to cache. Grateful for a quick find in the rain.tftc
For a caching weekend away with the HKCB this was a late but welcome start in this great piece of countryside that I had never visited before.
So after having spent a caching trip where I slept in a bed rather than a car, and having had a shower (so this must be how normal cachers start their day when caching) while getting a tour of the Albertlanders History before heading south.
We collected this one following on from cretti's series of puzzle caches and heading south once again
Great spot for the cache and we were happy to have the place to ourselves.
thanks for brining me to this spot to enjoy the surrounds.

A little while ago an idea was thrown about to head north for a final caching roadtrip for the year. So along with C&D a rough plan was formed with a certain few caches, a confluence point visit, an event to attend, and the rest of the plan was to be made up as we went along. A later start this morning, but we'd achieved most of what we had wanted to do yesterday so a nice crusiey day today. Heading home the along way via Helensville to grab a few more caches.
Parked really close and hopped over the fence to GZ. Spotted the cache easily once the GPS was pointing at zero. Thanks for the hide.

Came by this way today, I had some time to kill before Countdown opened in Helensville and I would buy my breakfast and lunch, then some up north caching. I parked up in the graveyard then walked across to do myself some searching, found something unusual and interesting that revealed itself to me. Thanks for that.
Was in the area for work, hadn't cached up here before. So did a few on my way out of town.
Interesting cache
