A quick find here after a day of Kayaking with Tiz13 on the lake. Didnt take too long to spot the cache and sign our name in the log sheet. TFTC
After Slowdog and l packed the yaks up and enjoyed a Cornetto as a reward for our successful yakking expedition.. we drove down to find this cache.
This was a quick find as we made our way to Melbourne. We have passed here many times and finally made the detour today. It was pretty windy today so pleased I didnt have too much trouble finding it. Didnt have a kayak so this was the only one I found in the area today.
After a few hours on the water, We hit up some specific caches in the area. This cache was all good in its rightful locationThank you for the adventure
Beware cache was watched over by the guard frogs with a vicious streak a mile wide.
Lovely spot. Found some froggy wildlife while looking for the cache. TFTC
A nice find during the CITO!On a 10 day trip to Australia, visiting Sydney, Cairns, and Melbourne and getting some caches during the trip. Visiting from Chicago. TFTC!
I think this was my third visit here. This time I found the little devil quite quickly.
Thanks for your work here, sorceysal.
Thanks for your work here, sorceysal.
On our way from Bendigo to Ledgerder national park we thought we would stop for a few caches in Malmesbury and Daylesford on our way.
On our way to dinner we kept saying just one more this one stumped us until Ghihash noticed the abnormality

A weekend caching with k9team, we made our way towards Baccus Marsh first stopping in marlsbury and then Daylesford to pick up some caches along the way. Over the day we found 26 caches consisting of multi's Mysteries Virtual and traditional caches. Thanks to all the Co's for making it an interesting day.
Arfter doing some series caches we were on our way into town and in need of a toilet stop. Of course, there was always 1 more cache to find along the way and spent the next 3 hours making our way to Baccus Marsh for dinner.
Jumping back in the car we spotted this one just up the road and had to pick it up.
Today's cache makes day 44 of my ongoing streak.
Tftc sorry for the generic log.

Just realised I had forgotten to log this one after the recent CITO by McLookers.
Grabbing rubbish and and helping out when it was mentioned “there’s a cache here”.
Oooohhh…!
So sure enough the environment can wait a few minutes whilst I write some ink on some paper.
Happy to pass the log to another CITO attendee and keep on doing our thing.
I visited 3 TB.

Here for the **Pykes Creek Reservoir CITO** and by chance, the direction I went off picking up rubbish brought me past this cache... which fortunately was pointed out to me because I wasn't really paying that much attention to the caches that are here.
Thanks **sorceysal** for putting this cache here.
Thanks **sorceysal** for putting this cache here.
What a magic little place this is. Pity I was so focused on the CITO here, I didn't stop to look at all the T5 caches nearby!
Don't you worry: I'll be back on this track with a 'yak and a waterproof sack.
Thanks heaps, Sorceysal!

A road trip out west with OzHockeyChick for some caching today, hoping the weather will hold out.
A quick stop here to grab this one on the way back to CITO central.
Thanks sorceysal for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

While doing the CITO we checked for rubbish near this cache. Of course we found the cache and a stream of cachers also checked the area for rubbish and caches! I had searched for this before with no luck, and I’m sure I searched this location then. I’m so pleased I found it this time!
Found after participating in a CITO at Pykes and a morning event at O’Briens Crossing. Thanks sorceysal for placing this cache and contributing to this great game. Happy trails, Deanside
Out and about again with Mrs JTreeTrack2 in the trusty Geocamry. ‘Lets go a bit East’ we said, so set off to the Myrniong area. It was a pleasant day and nice to travel on some side roads rather than the Western Highway. It was late afternoon so certainly it started to cool down a little bit.
First stop Pykes Reservoir, Kayak or boat so only land based caching today.
Great little spot with a few different hiding spots. Some careful searching and the cache was found. The cache was found in great condition, logged and returned.

Finally, I found this one as we had previously DNF'd it. Was surprised to see the cache guardian frog was an actual frog
Nearly gave up
Found a frog so guessed it was close by, closer to the Rd than co ords

My plan for today was to kayak at Pykes Creek - despite only solving 2 of the 6 puzzle caches.
I was gutted when I arrived (1hr drive without caching!) in a really strong wind that was whipping up the water into big waves. I'm currently training for the kayak event at VPESG in March but these conditions were not conducive to building on my fitness!
It was ultimately an easy, but disappointing, decision to leave my kayak on the roof.
This wasn't where I was looking initially but I broadened my search area and there it was! Many thanks

A nice quick find with catnap777 in the heat of the day, and a nice view of the lake we had just been paddling around in as we collecting T5 mystery caches. [^]
TFTC sorceysal.
Cache in good condition and your cache guardian frog is doing an excellent job looking after the alternate hiding spot.

Found cache and log signed with dalerious .
dalerious and I decided to go for an all out assault on a lake that I hadn't visited for over 50 years.
I barely remember coming here with my family all those years ago; I can tell you that it is alot busier now with boater's than it was then.
Dad mustn't have been happy with the size of the lake, because he chose Eildon as our family holiday destination from there on in .
It was good visiting it again with my partner .
So many people out here today trying to beat the heat the best way they knew how.
We thank you sorceysal for providing this cache which was found in good condition .

Quick find, co-ordinates spot on. 2 cache guardians of the froggy kind were doing a good job. TFTC
Quick lunch stop with tbr family on the way to Ballarat for the weekend pleasant and quiet at the very full reservoir. Thanks for the cache.
Hard to believe I can’t find a D1.5! Yes it’s dark and I’ve zeroed in and around and it’s double trouble with two pairs of eyes- I’ll be back!
I searched for this cache in the dark last night, without success, so I came back this morning.
My skills hadn't improved overnight, so logging a DNF. I'll keep an eye on it, and return for another go when I see that others have found it. Thanks sorceysal.

The previous time we visited Pykes Creek, we managed to collect all the caches around the reservoir, but this cache eluded us. Noticing the CO had preformed some maintenance, we took a slight detour in our travels today to have another go.
This time the cache was located fairly easily, and once the log was signed, we took a moment to enjoy this beautiful scenery once again.
Thank you sorceysal for maintaining this cache and the excuse to revisit this lovely area.

Lovely afternoon spent with Bogonghazy. Picnic and enjoying the views. Quick find. Thanks for placing the geocache
Out for a day paddling with Shumba7 . Plenty of water at the moment. About as full as it can get. Had the water to ourselves for the most part. TFTC.
As I am unable to check on this cache due to the lockdown, I am temporarily disabling until I can get there.
No luck with this one, had a really good search, we will have to add to the growing list of dnfs
Unfortunately, whilst it is a lovely spot for lunch, no success in locating the Cache.
Cold day at the reservoir, no one around, all in all a nice day to go caching with Geodog. No luck. Reviewed hint, but not much help. TFTc anyway. Cheers
My first venture to pykes lake and surrounds.. and sadly it was a brief dip to test the waters, so to speak.
No kayaking today.
Thanks for an easy cache in a beautiful place!

Day 225
Tftc Sorceysal, found this before I went for a paddle in the wind, rain and hail.... nice views from there even though I stayed about 3 seconds because the wind and rain were howling.
A spot of tea anyone?
Found on another epic caching loop with H423L which included the St Arnaud mega and many other magnificent Australian locations.
Thanks robj73 and clear skies from TeamAstro. ️ Cache the planet!

Not really a pleasure to be here today - it is very windy, but not cold! Almost lost the log sheet, but thankfully were able to keep hold of it and SL at 10.38am Definitely not a nice day to be on the water and we were happy to pick up this traditional on dry land! #6522 TFTC sorceysal - and nice to meet you at the Event last night. Making our way back home to the NE of the State, but no doubt caches will prove a hazard along the way.
After the Cito, Perpetuallylost and I headed off to the next event on foot and as he had already found it he left me to find this one.
MazzyMay was close by and as I had the cache in my hand I said that it was over here and then she said no it’s not and she had a cache in her hand as well.
Well after checking the logs and condition of the caches it was worked out that the one in her hand was the original one.
Well both logs were signed just in case.
Thanks sorceysal TFTC.

Today we found Pykes Pleasure on our travels. Having completed the job at hand at the CITO nearby it was time for a cache because all work and no play is no fun at all!

An easy find after the nearby CITO, seeing as how everyone else was parking near the cache as they headed from the CITO to the meet!
Grabbing caches while attending the Pykes creek events. This cache was a very easy park and grab today. TFTC sorceysal
With both a CITO and meet and greet event happening this morning, we just could not ignore a traditional cache to be found as well. It was a nice quick and easy find and the log soon had another name on it as a record of the visit. Thank you to sorceysal for placing this cache. Look forward to coming back to this area when the weather is better for going on a paddle excursion.
Today I went out with Bushfire and Au fiat to chase some caches and to do some events along the way. Bushfire called last night for a pick-up in the morning, and of course I was ready. It was really cold, about 11 degrees, and after the first hour I was starting to regret my decision to wear shorts. We went up around Ballan, Creswick and Ballarat to do these caches. Anyway, thanks to all the owners of these caches, they were all excellent, and sorry for the generic log, I just have so many caches to log after today.
We actually found two caches here, both logs were signed

Put this one on the program along with the two events in the area this morning. Nice easy find, along with goingplaces2 and log was soon signed. All replaced as found before we left. TFTC.
Out early today Bunadoorian and I gathered a few caches before the Pykes Creek CITO and Lunch time Event - the sun was trying to shine through but my oh my was the wind being very lazy! Find 8 of 10 for today. Well when we arrived at the area we were met by two groups of people - each saying but it is here - but they were in two different locations?? Well the cache with the oldest date we assume is the original cache and the cache with more recent dates we assume was a replacement cache that people had found because they couldn't find the original cache. All six of us then signed both log books and then replaced them in the original location. We loved the area and views you have bought us to. TFTC sorceysal
Found one cache, another group found another. Both were signed just to be safe although we believe the one we found was the original as it had the older dates in it. TFTC
This one caused a lot of chatter and laughter as we signed both caches found in the zone. Half a smiley each I guess. TFTC
A lot going on with this cache found this morning during the CITO event. I was with Hans from HansandLinda and we were at the cache that he found earlier in the year so i signed the log in that one. Then later on i was with Posums walking to the lunchtime event and he wanted to sign the log as well. I took him to the cache i found earlier in the day but MazzyMay was at a GZ a free metres away holding another cache of the same name! Going through the dates in each log and cross- checking to where our gps's were closest, we think the one i signed this morning was a throw down that had been there for several years. In the meantime both caches have been found and signed quite regularly over the duration. So i signed the MazzyMay cache as well just to be sure!
Regardless, thx sorceysal for placing a cache here!

On a leisurely drive to Daylesford for a Lavender Festival, we parked the geo-loppy very close and wandered over to GZ. Made a very easy find and enjoyed the views while signing the log.
