second attempt this afternoon, had a good look at gz and used hint however could not locate the cache.
It should have been there but I found nothing. Thought I should log a DNF for the record.
Attempted this one this afternoon, it was busy in the park today being a weekend and some sun starting to break through. Unable to get an opportunity between muggle walkers to have a good search will come back when it is not as busy. I can see why it is so busy as it is a lovely park for a stroll.

Having been muggled out of this one not long ago I was pleased to have a clear run today, and soon found the cache. I came back this way a few minutes later after getting the new one nearby, to find another muggle in the same place as last time!
A CNL (could not look). On a day where I was muggled out of nearly half the caches that I looked for, this was the worst! The hiding spot is obvious but as I neared it a father and youngster came up and sat 5 metres from GZ! Next time.
Woke before rest of the house. non-geo pup was getting restless jumped in the car to the park and acted like a dog walking muggle to the GZ exchanged greetings with the other dog walking muggles waited for a time to stick my head under to find the cache. Found and signed the log. Continued on with the walk as a reward to the pup for behaving so well. Very busy park on a Sunday morning.
Quick find again, but spot-on co-ords will always help there.
Beautiful park here, and weren't the ducks getting excited.
Sorry guys, no bread. Thanks again Haw0006, like your hides.

First one for the year for the Manatunga 3. After a long hiatus due to the summer close encounters with snakes, working away, colds and flus, etc, finally we could get out together this afternoon and go find some of the many new caches to appear nearby over the last six months.
TFTC, Miss M3 took the fairy and left a ball bearing maze puzzle?!

Seemed obvious where it should be, but took a while to locate. Took even longer to extract, with a bit of digging, as someone else noted. One somewhat muddy geoson was the result. All done, muggles avoided and log signed. TFTC.

Good fun thanks - checking out how the fenix works, and will take the kids back to intro them to geocaching. Better than a Playstation!
Nice to discover another park we didn't know about before finding this cache. Easy walk from the road though we're keen to come back another day and explore the rest of the park beyond this point. Thanks for the cache. Took TB.
On my way home from an afternoon out with Mr 80 d. Parked the car across the park and it was only a short walk through this lovely park. Needed to wait for a family of cyclists to go. Nice easy find but could not get the container out at first as soil had wedged it in. After locating a stick to dig it was quickly in hand.
Thanks for bringing me to this lovely park Haw0006

Today, I was on a mission: place a new Cluedo cache and find my 2000th cache! I only needed 8 more. I picked this cache up, at 12:04pm and only had 6 to go.
The name should have said it all for this one, but the GPS insisted I should have been 4 or 5m (with error I agree) from where I found the cache in the end. I came at it from a different direction and it was right there. I signed the log and left a trackable I've had for far to long (in fact it was the nephew, who I normally don't let pick these things up for just this reason!) Hopefully it will have a quicker journey from now on.
Thanks for the cache Haw0006.

Had to avoid mum and baby muggles who slowly walked up to the bridge from the other landing, then slowly across the bridge and back to the other landing. Fortunately, I had already spotted the cache and patiently waited for them to move on. Had the cache in hand at 3:20pm and then back in place quickly as a muggle and dog approached at full running pace!

Visiting this end of the park with the young son for the first time. He stood on the bridge and looked for birds while I searched.
He enjoyed searching through the swag but we didn't leave with any.
Cheers Haw0006, thanks for bringing us here.

Very easy find... had expected to need to search harder as is often the case with these type of caches. Was out with the munchkin and a firend of mine who lives locally.
Found this cache again. Found this one when it was brand new and the coordinates were spot on but when I went to find this one it was out by about five or six minutes. The cache is now back in the right spot. Thanks again an good luck to other geocaches out there
Tftc tricky as GPS had me roaming a little. Added a few swaps as very bare inside
Found @ 1:30pm. Put my hand on an unfriendly bull ant as I bent down. Beware, the hand stings after the bite. Wasn't enough to deter me. Fount the well camoed container.

Found this one today. I had previously tried this at night and in the rain unsuccessfully but today it was daylight with very few muggles around. I found this one in about the sixth place that I looked and realised why I wouldn't have seen it at night - even if I was looking in the right place. Signed log but didn't swap anything.
Thanks for the cache Haw0006.

The first time I came here I hunted and hunted, all to no avail. Was cycling past again today and thought I'd have another quick look. And there it was easily seen! I put it back so it's not so easily seen from afar. Thanks Haw0006.
A short stop on the way home from babysitting at Greensborough today. very peaceful park and no muggles around today. Cache found and log duly signed before strolling back to the car.

Had a stroll out from work at lunchtime as part of my training for Oxfam and this cache seemed to be a reasonable goal. Alas the walking took a bit longer than I thought it would but at least I found the cache quickly. TFTC.

A quick find while in the park doing the other one from bubblezdee. The park has changed a lot since I was here last. Will have to come back. TFTC

After enjoying a family Lunch we decided to visit this local park and pick up the 2 caches there before heading home.
The hot weather must have kept everyone away today as we had GZ to ourselves today.
Good co-ords had us on top of the cache and we left a geocoin to continue it's travels.
Thanks for showing us this corner of the park.

Thanks for placing it for me to find.

A resonably easy find with no muggles to interupt the search.

A great night of caching with Rebel Acts, Blacklegend and Trailrunning (TDC) as we cached a big loop around Melbourne and then headed down the bay where we finished up for the night. As usual, we traveled many kms and had plenty of laughs during the evening and night. It was a bit of a clean up run tonight, picking up quite a few caches that were just on the map by themselves, as well as quite a few new caches that had been recently published. We were also very happy to go back and find a couple of caches we'd left in Werribee during a recent cache run as well.
With no monsters spotted tonight, we were able to make a quick search and find of the cache and split before the monsters returned. Thanks Haw006.

Another legendary TDC (The Demolition Crew) run around the Melbourne area. Tonight's run, a cleanup run taking us in a huge circle from the North, to the West, via central Melbourne, then out East.... Phew, the areas we visited.... Another entertaining night, with lots of laughs, a big tree climb, a bridge climb (so to speak) and of course great company and conversations. My thanks to all the cache owners for their hides that we found on the night.
Short walk from our chosen parking location, and a very short search to locate the hide. TFTC.

Another great night of caching with TrailRunning, Blacklegend and Quasar3671,a great night was had by all with a big loop around Melbourne cleaning up some of the newer caches. After a short search the cache was soon in hand and we escaped before the monsters got us. Thanks Haw0006 for the cache.
The Demolition Crew were once again out and about in and around Melbourne in the wee hours of the morning collecting caches and having lots of fun and laughs along the way. This was one cache I needed to log. We didn't see any monsters but found a cache instead. Thanks.

Found this one pretty quick when out on a yabbie night with the Rosanna scouts and cubs but had to weight a bit before being able to sign the log due to so many little kids running round.
P.S. didn't catch anything but a net a lost last year when I let go of the rope.

Lovely park with ducks in the pond. Cache took a bit longer to find than it should have. Well hidden, thanks Haw0006
We did look for a little while, much to the geogreyhound's disgust. The park would be lovely when the grass is green. TFTC
Really ought to have been a quicker find than it took me, few muggles cycling past though! Saw someone grabbed it just a couple hours before me too... Tnln tftc!
Enjoying the love of this sport bought us again to this path where the bananas have had previous success. It is great to come across decent size containers which gives you lots of options.
Today though we just admired this nice little park yet again.

Nice one, actually took a little bit to find, all the people around were no help. Got to watch some White-faced Heron hunting fish in the small pond nearby, I love those birds!
Thanks for the great hide. It took a couple of seconds to find and we picked up the trackable and will move it onto another cache! Thanks again and good luck to other geocachers
Out on a night hunt with another of my Companions. This one was a bit tricky to find at night but we got there in the end. Pity we didn't come in the day time - the park looks nice at night, might look even better during the day.
Left TB where it was - decided to let it kick around here for the kiddies to find (perhaps!) but it did give me a few ideas for a few months down the track.

I did my best at muggle dodging to find this one, which involved some bumming around, and also used my iPhone to take a snap and make searching for the cache a bit easier.
No monsters, just a cache. Another nice wee area we never knew about. Thanks for bringing us here. Left a TB that will enjoy the nearby playgrounds.
Disappointed. Thought this would be a nice easy find close to home. It wasn't. Guess I'm just not in touch today. Thanks for the thought, anyway, Haw0006.
I thought I'd see if my work colleague EuDes wanted to go and look for this newie and then grab some lunch. Are you kidding? A cache AND lunch! So we headed off and found a parking spot in the suggested street. We had a pleasant stroll in the sunshine to GZ. After a very short search we located the cache in an obvious (to cachers) spot and signed the log at 1:55pm. Took: a scout badge to put in a scouting cache I hope to do soon and left: a 'monster' dinosaur.
Thanks Haw0006 for the cache and for bringing us to this lovely urban park. It would have been nice to sit for a while in the sunshine and enjoy this very pleasant spot but alas we had to get some lunch (from a very slow junk food place) and then go back to work.

Found this one at 13:55 while out on a lunchtime caching escape with ladioactive. A nice easy one in a very pleasant park. In the end, the search took us about a squillionth of the time to find the cache as it did to get some lunch at a nearby junk food restaurant !

Miss almost a teenager was presented with a choice: a six-year-old's birthday party or caching with Dad... I'm pleased to say there was barely a moment's hesitation. So while the others were off socializing, we took a trip out to the end of the Ring Road.
This was our first stop, in an unfamiliar part of a familiar park... and surprisingly busy. The name of the cache is all the clue we needed to come up with the goods. Then it was just the usual problem of timing, with people liable to appear from any direction without notice. Cheers.

Had some time after work to drop by and look for this cache. Found I could park surprisingly close and a short walk had the cache spotted at 16:50. The paths had a few walkers so moved away a bit to sign the log and returned the cache when the coast was clear. TNLN though Annas BB T/B had a visit. TFTC

Nice area and an easy find before dinner and drinks. No one else in sight. Tftc
With the Fire Weather Warning declared as Severe for today, I decided caching in an urban park would be much more sensible than in Melbourne's bushland fringe. Payback 'F' was my selected target and, on checking for the latest details last night, I discovered that this new cache had just been published.
Leaving the FTF to those that go caching at night, I came out looking for it in the morning before it got too hot. I parked at the "wrong end" of the park and walked here via Payback 'F' (having been initially unsuccessful there). Approaching GZ directly instead of along the path, the cache was quite obvious as I walked up. With no one about, I extracted it from its hide, signed the log & TNLN. I hid the cache again, moving about 1 ft sideways (30 cm for those not old enough to understand...) to give it better cover from sideways approaches.
Thanks Haw0006 for setting this cache up, keep up the good work.

10/01/2013 21:02 {*2TF*} This was an attempted ftf run but I was not all that confident knowing that it was quite close to the 80's. I took Michael (EagleEye) to get hours up behind the wheel and we met Spladem who once again had beaten me to a find. I am SURE he must live in his car and just be driving 24/7 waiting for that notification. I got in 2nd and that is quite a good effort. This was a very easy find as per its difficulty rating. We then chatted for a few minutes before making our way off home again. TFTC Haw0006 TNLN SL
**** Joint FTF**** This one came up - so close to home base but we were not at home but decided to have a go anyhow. As we arrived no sign of any of the usual suspects but before we could take the walk to GZ a car suddenly pulled up and who should it be but Spladem. Made fun of him appearing out of nowhere as we approached GZ. We all started to look before the cache was quickly found and the log signed at 8.00pm. As we put the cache back we heard another vehicle approach so we all stood back and waited to see if it was the person we expected and sure enough around the bend came Landau - we had all guessed correctly. Stood around and had a little chat before we joined forces with Spladem for another find. TFTC and another FTF Haw0006

I was not too far away 8km on another Geoquest of a wink wink nudge nudge nature.. The alert came through and I figured if I was quick I could make it in time for the mini event.. Traffic wasn't in my favour, however with some senaky parking I was still in with the money.. I arrived to see the back of Mr+Mrs 80 degrees heading behind the scrub.. I wondered down and said g'day then made the joint *FTF* find.. Thanks Haw0006 for the hide and the search and thanks J+A for the company.. In no time at all Landau arrived and soon after the Mini event was wound up with plans made to visit a certain tree that was on my radar.. Find #3360
Found it a little while back now but just getting around to logging it. Good cache and nice hide.
